Talk:Java Edition 26.1.2
Latest comment: 11 April by Nixinova in topic What exploit?
Pending Version Numbers
[edit source]The protocol version is 775. The resource pack format is 84.0. The data pack format is 101.1. These are all identical to 26.1.1 and 26.1. This fact can be observed in SharedConstants.java.
The protocol version, in addition to being observed in SharedConstants.java, is also provided as 775 in Protocol version#List of protocol versions.
The data version is 4790, as per Data version#List of data versions. ~2026-ResinWardenBreeze9005 (talk) 14:45, 9 April 2026 (UTC)
- As I posted this, the version numbers were updated, making this comment redundant. ~2026-ResinWardenBreeze9005 (talk) 14:47, 9 April 2026 (UTC)
What exploit?
[edit source]Can we be more specific with the wording? The page just says "fixed an exploit". Can anyone explain the exploit, or even describe it, if possible?

- It will be explained later. See MCW:Responsible disclosure. This situation doesn't occur super often, but maybe we should start putting message boxes at the top of the article and the talk page so people are aware of the policy and reasoning. Rampage455 (talk) 23:00, 11 April 2026 (UTC)
