Some 2-3 decades ago, I watched a (color) movie set in North Africa during World War II. Summarizing the plot, a small group of Allied soldiers are besieged by the Deutsches Afrikakorps at some desert outpost and running out of water. The only scene I remember is one where a (JCVD-looking) French soldier in a state of near-delirium due to thirst does pantomime slicing some cheese and some bread, eating, and sipping some wine. Unfortunately, I do not recall the name of this movie. Can anyone please identify this movie?

Possibly Sahara (1995) with Jim Belushi which was a remake of the 1943 movie of the same name which starred Humphrey Bogart.
An American tank commander in Libya who, along with a handful of Allied soldiers, tries to defend an isolated well with a limited supply of water from a Libyan Afrika Korps battalion during the Western Desert Campaign of World War II.
Although the French soldier is not hallucinating, he does pantomime eating cheese.
The whole movie is available on YouTube in some regions with the scene at c.52:45
