Just finished aligning and he gave me this the alignment result. I saw red color on the caster 3.5, when I asked they say it’s ok. I am still not satisfied with the answer. Consider my truck is still new, I don’t think it’s normal if it’s red. I thought everything need to be green.

There are two reasons why I don't think you should worry about the right caster measurement.

  • It is within 0.1° of the "normal" range. It appears 3.6° is the actual max measurement and this is reading 3.5°. This is a minor discrepancy.
  • Without special means (ie: aftermarket parts), you can't adjust the caster.

What I find to be odd about your alignment readings is that it basically doesn't have any toe-in happening. It has always been my understanding a vehicle needs a certain amount of toe-in or the vehicle will tend to wander while driving. The toe-in helps keep the track centered and moving straight down the road. Mind you, when they set up the machine, your vehicle information is input into it and the proper "normal" limits are then setup using the information. As long as they put the right vehicle information in, it should be golden.

With that said, you should be able to take it somewhere else from where you had it done and have them give you an assessment. Some places will do it for free.
