Megan Libby har delat dettaThe fastest way to get up to speed in a new industry? Research. Of course. Since joining Sinch, I've been diving into the world of digital customer communications and getting especially involved in the world of RCS, my favorite messaging channel (if you haven't looked into it yet, Google it and read our article 😉). One new resource that I know will help others get up to date with customer needs across industries is Sinch's new "State of customer communications" report, which includes insights from over 2,800 consumers and 1,600 business leaders in healthcare, finance, retail, and technology. It highlights what customers expect in 2025 (spoiler: that starts with actually listening to them)... and how businesses can keep them engaged, informed, safe, and happy. And, yes, RCS gets some well-deserved attention too! 🙌 Here's the link (for those wondering, yes, it's ungated): https://lnkd.in/gxqhQZ9Q

Megan Libby har delat detta"You moved to Sweden... from California?!" 😳 <- the look of incredulity on peoples' faces when they learn I moved to Sweden... just in time for winter ❄ In August, I moved to Stockholm for a good opportunity at Sinch and haven't looked back. After all, I've never been one to say, "no," to a new adventure. I'm learning a lot about myself while working on my third continent, and working a few days per week in an office (by choice!) after being remote for 5 years. I appreciate the focus Swedes have on balance -- working regular hours, prioritizing mental and physical health, and plenty of paid vacation time! American/Swedish business communication styles have been the biggest adjustment for me. Swedes value being humble and consensus-driven decision making, which can feel slow and inefficient. I keep reminding myself that the more individualistic style of decision making I'm used to -- i.e., laying all the cards on the table, confrontation, making a few jokes, more confrontation... before making a decision (as quickly as possible) -- is only one way to do business. 🇺🇸 Even at work, life is truly all about perspective and there's so much more that brings us together than drives us apart. I'm so grateful to have joined an international team that embraces our differences. Here's to many more fika ☕ and sales conferences 🇸🇪 with great colleagues! #internationalbusiness #communication #sweden

Megan Libby har reagerat på dettaMegan Libby har reagerat på dettaThe way you treat your agencies and suppliers matters! 👉It tells you a lot about who you are. I spent most of my career on the agency side, until about six years ago. So I’ve sat on both sides of that table. Last week I visited Dodgems and Floss in Canterbury for the first time. Ben and the team have been our design studio many, many year, mostly over calls and shared docs. They were working with Sinch way before I started! I got the full VIP treatment! Everyone pulled together to show me their space 💛 Over the years I’ve worked with great clients and boring projects, scary clients and fun projects. What made the difference was never just the brief. It was the people, and how respectful and grateful the client was to be working with you. Here is one of the most important learning: As an agency, you’re just more compelled to do more and better work for the clients who treat you well. The ones who treat you badly, the work becomes a burden. And burden doesn’t produce great creative. As a client, you can still push. You still need to be honest, tell when the work isn’t there yet. But it has to come from a place of respect. 👉 Creative work won’t be better or faster if you yell at designers! Grateful for Ben and the D&F team for all their support and friendship! Service mindset trumps everything else. 💛💛

Megan Libby har reagerat på dettaMegan Libby har reagerat på dettaCareer changes are often a mix of excitement, curiosity, and a little bit of nervous anticipation. Today, I'm happy to share that I've started a new role as Chief Marketing Officer at Consafe Logistics GroupConsafe Logistics Group When considering this opportunity, I kept coming back to one thing: the people. During my conversations with the team, I was inspired by their ambition, expertise, and clear vision for the future. I'm grateful for everything I've learned from the talented colleagues, customers, and partners I've worked with Sinch. Those experiences have prepared me for this next step. Now, I'm excited to roll up my sleeves and help strengthen the Consafe Logistics brand, support our growth ambitions, and work alongside an exceptional team. Looking forward to what lies ahead and thank you for the warm welcome! #NewBeginnings #Leadership #Marketing #CMO #Logistics #sustainablebusiness #WMS

Megan Libby har reagerat på dettaMegan Libby har reagerat på dettaThis summer, I cycled through Kyrgyzstan, crossing the Tian Shan mountains and climbing passes close to 4,000 metres. The terrain was brutal - rough gravel, endless climbs and sections where cycling simply wasn’t possible, leaving only the option of pushing the bike uphill. At high altitude and far from any town, everything else seemed to disappear. My mind narrowed down to the essentials: the next pedal stroke, food, water and finding somewhere to camp. Some days there was no phone reception, no notifications and no connection to the outside world, just vast mountains, high plateaus, endless valleys, turquoise lakes, horses, sheep and nomadic families. There is something humbling about being surrounded by a landscape so much bigger than you. It brings perspective, gratitude and an incredible amount of energy. It reminds you how little you actually need and how much there is to appreciate. I seek out challenges that take me outside my comfort zone and show me where my limits are. The most rewarding moments often come when I reach that limit and find more strength to keep going. Maybe that’s what keeps bringing me back to cycling adventures: the challenge, the freedom, the beauty and the feeling of returning with a clearer mind, a little more resilience and a deeper appreciation for everyday life. #kyrgyzstan #adventure #perspective

Megan Libby har reagerat på dettaMegan Libby har reagerat på dettaI've just stepped into a new role as Vice President EMEA Marketing Sinch. After some year across different continents, and SaaS / PLG businesses, I'm back where I feel most at home: EMEA & Conversational And it's an exciting time to be back. At a moment when other parts of the world feel less predictable, #EMEA is gaining relevance again in B2B tech around trust & reliability. I'm also back in the #conversational game. Back to #WhatsApp marketing — and hello #RCS, the SMS successor that's going to make things a lot more interesting. I get to work with a genuinely strong group of leaders across the region and I'm looking forward to: shaking things up in EMEA with Jonathan Bean, talking conversational growth with Marie Rommi pushing Email forward with Natalie Lynch and Kyle Hunter, winning new customers and making existing ones happier with Jana Voriskova, Luke Thompson, Luigi Monica, Márcio Rodrigues, Christophe Collier, Marián Sopko, Alessandro Musella many more A lot to do. A lot to build. And yes — a lot of fun ahead. 🤘

Megan Libby har reagerat på dettaMegan Libby har reagerat på dettaI’m excited to share that I’ve joined Heidi Health as a Language Growth Manager for the German market in a permanent role. I previously worked with the team as a freelancer, and I’m grateful to now officially be part of the company. Why am I so excited you might ask? Here are my top three reasons: 1. Heidi provides a meaningful product with real impact in healthcare. 2. My work is incredibly diverse, with exciting challenges across localisation and growth. 3. An amazing LGM team (Mathilde Barbaroux, Sarah E. Sagué, Miyuki Myrthil, Océane KLEIN and fantastic colleagues across the DACH region (Andres Hald and Merle Fiedler). I’m really looking forward to what’s ahead. PS: And of course, a big thank you to Julia Ferch for her support during my onboarding.

Megan Libby har reagerat på dettaMegan Libby har reagerat på dettaGone fishing . . . and sailing, skiing, dancing and a whole lot of other things, but no more ‘gone to the office’ 😀 After close to 40 years in telecom I look forward to let go. I’ll miss meeting you all, and all new people I would have met. I will NOT miss internal meetings though. So, to quote á colleague mine, “I’ve promoted myself to manager of my own time”. Thank you all for contributing to making my life exiting (and some of you continuing to do so). Janne
