Thessaloniki, 22–24 September 2026
KATHES brought together Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTh), CERTH and Thess INTEC to strengthen ties between the Greek and German academic and research communities, identify areas for joint research and define next steps for working together.
For Thess INTEC, these three days served a broader goal: connecting entrepreneurship with academia and research to develop innovative products and services, for the international market.

The workshop "𝗘𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗜𝗻 𝗔𝗰𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗰 & 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗢𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀" focused on approaches to developing entrepreneurial culture and skills among students and researchers.

Nikos Efthymiadis, in the opening ceremony, highlighted the importance of international cooperation for the growth of the innovation ecosystem and the prospects for further collaboration with KIT.

The session 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗜𝗡𝗧𝗘𝗖: 𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝘆𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆-𝗗𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝗜𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 presented campus design and the planned research infrastructures. We warmly thank the speakers for their contributions:
