Summer’s here and the time is right for Sparkling Lini Lambrusco.
Dr. Vino calls Lini Lambrusco his “Wine Of The Summer 2007” and we couldn’t agree more: Lambrusco Labrusca Rosso NV Lini is a fresh, food-friendly wine, low in alcohol with nice fruit in the mouth and on the nose. Perfect for summer grills and picnics.
There are just a few spots left in our Sparkling Summer Blast Off event on Thursday, June 21, 5:30-7:30 p.m. in the beautiful Mediterranean garden at I Trulli. The cost of the event is only $35 so don’t miss this chance to taste the entire line of Lini Lambrusco at this one-time promotional rate.
To reserve, please send an email to register@vinosite.com.
The Lambrusco Labrusca Rosso NV Lini is named after the ancient name for Lambrusco, “Labrusca,” from the Latin labrum, meaning “edge.” It is believed that the ancient people of Italy, the Etruscans, cultivated the Lambrusco grape on the “edges” of their fields.
“The brisk bubbles in this wine scour your tongue in an entirely appealing way,” wrote Ray Isle, wine editor for Food & Wine Magazine in his blog, “Tasting Room.” “The fresh, crushed-berry fruit and mild hint of earthiness give a hint as to how good this would be paired with a plate of grilled lamb chops.”
“The garden at I Trulli is a Mediterranean dream, a gracious shaded patio with terra cotta tiles and walls daubed with abstract landscapes in soothing colors.”—The New York Times
