Experience

Chris has been writing about food for almost two decades. After the shuttering of Gourmet in 2009, he created and wrote the popular Ask a Shopkeeper column for AOL's slashfood.com. He later worked as an Associate Editor at America's Test Kitchen before being named Managing Editor of The Local Palate, a Southern food and culture magazine based in Charleston, South Carolina. As a freelancer, he has written about food and restaurants for numerous print and digital publications including TimeOut New York, GQ.com, and Esquire.com.

Education

Chris earned a diploma in Classic Culinary Arts from The French Culinary Institute (now the International Culinary Center) in New York.
