Experience

Jon Dempsey has over 12 years of experience in the coffee industry, spanning roles such as cafe management, barista training, and private consulting (machine calibration, menu development, and recipe creation). He has also organized coffee events, worked for a green coffee importer and a coffee equipment distributor, and currently works as a rep for a renowned specialty roaster. Jon also works with a respected tea merchant — and yes, he loves tea, too. His main hobby is cooking, closely followed by tennis. (One hill he's willing to die on: Montréal bagels > NY bagels.)

Education

Jon attended Concordia University in Montréal, where he studied political science and English.
