Professional Background
I was born and raised in Waukesha, Wisconsin and lived there for over 30 years (I still visit for summers, holidays, and fish fries).
I started Culinary Hill in 2011. I am a classically-trained chef and in 2018, I completed the Culinary Arts program at College of the Canyons in Santa Clarita, California.
I have written and published more than 1,350 recipes. Since 2011, these recipes have been cooked and shared by more than 200 million readers around the world.
In June 2026, I published my debut cookbook, The Culinary Hill Cookbook. The book features more than 100 tested recipes, practical cooking tutorials, and stories inspired by the Midwestern food I grew up eating in Wisconsin.
Today, I lead a small team that helps produce Culinary Hill while remaining closely involved in every recipe, article, and editorial decision.
