Hi all, my name is Denise, I'm from the Netherlands, married, together we have three kids and a dog. We both have a job in IT.

10 years ago I got this nice Nikon D5100 camera but I never really could find the time to get the hang of it, so It was just laying there eating dust. Back then I just took pictures on full auto. Then last year I wanted to pick it up and really learn how to take nice pictures. How to make photo's that have the right atmosphere, the right feel, the right composition etc. I then got myself a Nikon D500 and I signed myself up for a 8 months photography course to push myself to get a grip on my camera and get a start on this trip down Photography lane. I enjoyed this course so much, that next September I will continue participating in what they call the workgroup.

I can only say, it's been a beautiful journey so far. I'm still trying to find me and get my own 'signature'.

Thank you for having me around here and I hope to see more of your beautiful work because this really inspires me to keep going and looking at the world from a different perspective.
