Hello, people of the Internet! LALtheUltimate here to celebrate New Year's Eve with the winner of this contest. It’s no secret we are in the reboot/remake/sequel era, and I’m pretty sure we’re all sick and tired of it, not helped by the fact the few original stuff we’ve gotten is either niche or flat-out sucked, with some exceptions (hellooo, K-Pop Demon Hunters). The good news is, there’s light at the end of the tunnel, and said light is in the gaming industry, most concretely the indie side because Triple AAAYYYEEESSS ain’t worth shit lol. The indie game industry has found an alternative to the whole reboot epidemic, and that is doing throwbacks, or what I like to call, reinventions. Throwbacks/Reinventions are games that are clearly based on previous games but with a fresh coat of paint, often fixing the flaws of their predecessors and even adding new stuff that keeps them from being just a mere copy of the originals, though sometimes they take this so far they’re the original IP

Hello, LALtheUltimate here! Here with another one of my commentaries, this one on something I've already talked about. Hell, it was one of the first commentaries I did, and reading it after so long made me cringe so bad I deleted it (as I usually do with older stuff yeeesh). As it says in the title, it's the once famous, now derided "Will They/Won't They" trope. Now you're asking, "Why are you talking about something from years ago instead of new things you've promised?" And to that I say: 1) I have SO MANY in my mind and have trouble organizing things, and 2) It's something I feel I should say now because this trope is one of the few that is, for all intents and purposes, DEAD IN THE FUCKING WATER. Sure, it still shows up in things like K-Dramas or anime (though that's another can of worms), but its previous intrusiveness is gone almost completely, as if many series are avoiding this trope like the plague. The "Will They Won't They" trope has always existed, but it blew up

Hello, people on the Internet! LALtheUltimate here with her latest opinion that nobody asked for! (yay) This time, I'm here to talk about 2007's Back At the Barnyard. You see, in that time there was a lot of shows I liked that still live rent free in my head like Zipi & Zape, Combo Niños, Shuriken School and of course Storm Hawks (still waiting for the reboot, Platinum Games ). However, I've also watched this series back in the day, yet I didn't put much thought into it afterwards. Which is a fucking sin because this show slaps. HARD. Seriously, this show is rife with memes and I think it's still not talked about enough. Think about Jackass with a bunch of literal party animals, that's pretty much the series in a nutshell. It's a bit like The Amazing World of Gumball in that every single weird shit you could think of, it happens, with a side of "fuck context" thrown into the way. This could get annoying in some cases, but not here! It never gets old. It also has the cutaway gags of
