Grubhub is bringing drone deliveries to New Jersey — and making history in the process! 🚁 This marks the first time commercial food delivery by drone will be available in the state and our first time offering drone delivery, thanks to our fully integrated program with DEXA (Drone Express), launching March 18 at Wonder's Green Brook location. Customers within 2.5 miles will have the option to select drone delivery at no additional cost, enabled by Dexa’s DE‑2020 aircraft — one of only a handful of FAA Part 135 Air Carrier‑certified drone systems operating in the U.S. This initiative represents an important step toward advancing safe, efficient, and scalable last‑mile logistics. Grubhub is expanding our Full Plate Program, powered by the Grubhub Community Fund, to help Chicago and New York City nonprofits that provide access to food and meal services to those who need it most. Now in its third year, the program will award $1 million in microgrants to more than 200 organizations, with each grant providing $5,000 to help procure and distribute food and strengthen operational capacity. This year, we’re partnering with Food Bank For NYC and Greater Chicago Food Depository, who will administer the program and support their networks of organizations addressing food insecurity across the five boroughs and Chicagoland.
