One of the things that made ASAE 2026 in Indianapolis so special was the opportunity to showcase what makes our city unique, including our incredible arts and culture community. Visit Indy was proud to work alongside the Arts Council of Indianapolis to infuse local art, creativity and talent into the ASAE: The Center for Association Leadership experience. From hotel lobbies to trailside entertainment, wherever ASAE attendees journeyed they encountered Indy’s creative community. Hosting a major meeting is about more than bringing people to Indy. It’s about creating meaningful experiences that showcase what makes our city special. A huge thank you to Indy Arts Council and the many local artists and creatives who helped us bring Indianapolis to life for ASAE attendees.

Indy shines as one of "7 U.S. Cities Where the Riverfront Is the Place to Be." The latest print issue of AFAR Magazine highlights major urban waterway developments like the 14-year DigIndy project, alongside iconic local experiences including Frank's Paddlesports Livery on the White River, award-winning dining at Bluebeard, and premier stays at the new InterContinental Indianapolis. A special thank you to ✏️ Iona B. for capturing how our revitalized riverfront is becoming the city's front porch. Last night we took over the legendary Indianapolis Motor Speedway for the ASAE: The Center for Association Leadership signature event, The Classic. Association leaders got to experience true Indy speed and hospitality firsthand with high-fives on the famous yard of bricks, photo ops with custom IndyCars, live music, interactive fan activations, and a spectacular drone show lighting up the night sky. Thank you to everyone who joined us for an incredible evening at the Racing Capital of the World!

Sunday at ASAE: The Center for Association Leadership Annual Meeting & Exposition was filled with energy, connections, and Hoosier hospitality! We kicked things off on the tradeshow floor at Victory Lane Village, where association leaders stopped by to watch Adam, our LEGO Master, recreate the historic Monument Circle brick-by-brick, fuel up at the Tinker Coffee Bar, and connect with our Visit Indy team. The evening concluded with the Monumental Meet Up as attendees gathered in the heart of downtown to celebrate with local food trucks, music, and community. Thank you to everyone who spent Sunday with us! We are excited to continue showing you what makes Indy such an unforgettable destination for meetings and events.

  • As we welcome nearly 5,000 association executives to Indy, a huge shoutout to the sponsors who made it happen, helping bring the 2026 ASAE: The Center for Association Leadership Annual Meeting & Exposition to our city. This is more than a meeting. Hosting ASAE will introduce thousands of association leaders to our city and help fill Indy’s convention and event pipeline for years to come. Thank you for helping us roll out the red carpet August 15–18 and show attendees why Indy is built to host.
