Adrien Petersen shared thisEach time gets better and better!! 12 weeks with this group flew by, as it always does. It was so rewarding to work alongside these founders and I’ll continue to live vicariously through them. 🫶 Cheering all of you on, can’t wait to see where you go next! If you are, or know of any emerging brands that would be a great fit for SKU, send them our way. Beau B. The energy in the room was incredible, and we were blown away by the pitches from this cohort. Grateful to have such an amazing community in our SKUniverse. Congrats to our Judges' Choice winner, The Crease Beast, and Fan Favorite winner, OOSO Iced Tea! To our Spring ’26 founders – The Nice Company, After Noon Foods, OOSO Iced Tea, Yee Mama, Seoulmate, Dohjoy, Alive & Well Kombucha, and The Crease Beast – you should be incredibly proud of what you built over the last 12 weeks. And to our mentors: the support, generosity, and team spirit you bring to SKU is what makes this community so special. A big thank you as well to our partners and sponsors who helped make the night possible: - Jon Brumley Texas Venture Labs, and Texas McCombs School of Business for hosting us - Kelly Stevens of Seven Creative for elevating the brands’ pitch decks - Our lead sponsors Foley & Lardner LLP, Vibrant Ingredients, Cognizin® Kyowa, Highbeam, Peasy, and NielsenIQ for supporting emerging brands and the broader CPG ecosystem We’ll be sharing photos, videos, and the livestream recording soon, but wanted to take a moment to express our gratitude to everyone who made this such a special night. Adrien Petersen shared thisOne week until SKU’s Spring ’26 Track Showcase in Austin! Join us: https://luma.com/ox57ettk Over the past 12 weeks, these founders have put in an incredible amount of work – and Showcase is where it all comes together. Next Tuesday, founders from eight emerging brands will take the stage to share the brands they’re building and the momentum behind them. I’m constantly inspired by the founders we get to work with, and this track is no exception. Getting a front-row seat to their journeys is one of the best parts of what I do. Adrien Petersen shared thisShowcase is one of my favorite days of the year – celebrating founders, our community, and all the magic they’re creating. And with Allison from poppi as our keynote?! Total cherry on top. 🍒 🫧 🤩 ✨Adrien Petersen shared thisWe are beyond thrilled to welcome Allison Ellsworth, co-founder of poppi — the brand that revolutionized the beverage industry with its better-for-you prebiotic sodas — as the keynote speaker at SKU Showcase Day. She will also be one of our judges. Allison created poppi by experimenting in her kitchen to create an apple cider vinegar-infused soda that tasted great. From the farmers market to a Shark Tank deal, in just five years, poppi quickly became one of the fastest-growing beverages in the U.S., culminating in its landmark sale in May to PepsiCo for $1.95 billion. Allison has been recognized in the 2024 Inc. Female Founders 250 and was named Founder of the Year from Modern Retail; TIME named poppi one of The 100 Most Influential Companies of 2025. Allison’s story is one of grit, vision, and heart — starting with a homemade recipe and growing it into a beverage brand that has taken the nation by storm. She’s proof that with passion and persistence, it’s possible to transform a personal idea into a movement. Her journey will inspire everyone in the room to dream bigger, push harder, and believe in what’s possible. Showcase Day is one of the most exciting moments of the SKU experience. It's a celebration where founders step into the spotlight to share their vision, their progress, and their passion with the CPG community. It’s where innovative ideas meet seasoned expertise, where connections spark collaborations, and where the next generation of category-defining brands gets discovered. More than just an event, Showcase is a high-energy gathering that reminds us why we love this industry: the people, the creativity, and the impact these brands are making. Don’t miss the chance to hear Allison and learn more about the eight trailblazing brands in the Fall '25 Track: 18 Chestnuts Soups, cMOSS Beauty®, Dogistry FocusFuel Inc. Coming from a tech background, I appreciated how novel Expo West was for me. I loved getting to see many of my favorite brands and what they were working on, while also discovering tons of fresh and innovative ones. Count me in for next year!

Adrien Petersen reacted on thisAdrien Petersen reacted on thisJust finished a working storytelling session with the SKU Fall ’26 cohort. Today we focused on one of my favorite subjects: How do you tell a pitch story people actually remember For me, a great pitch story has to do 3 things: --ATTENTION. Get me to lean in. --CONNECTION. Give me a reason to care. --REACTION. Get me to think, feel or DO something. But we spent just as much time talking about what sits underneath all three: OWN YOUR STORY. Know WHY you're building this company. Lean into your uniqueness -the experiences and perspectives that got you here. As always, I loved the ambition, openness, and energy these CPG founders brought to the sessions. Big thanks to Heather Buffo for the invite and for organizing everything Adrien Petersen for her behind-the-scenes work; and Beau B. & the SKU team for creating the best founder development ecosystem for CPG entrepreneurs in the country. Adrien Petersen liked thisAdrien Petersen liked thisART is Making a Comeback. In a world increasingly shaped by AI, we at Pantone see a growing appreciation for things that are uniquely human: handmade art, human creativity, craftsmanship, and authentic expression. People are looking for what feels real. I just returned from the Brand Innovators Conference in Berlin, where many senior marketing leaders discussed this trend. Because at the end of the day, people don´t connect with algorithms. They connect with stories. They connect with emotions. And to close the loop on my thoughts: this is exactly where Art restart to play such an important role. Art has the unique ability to evoke emotions, create connections, and spark conversations in ways that few other forms of communication can. It reminds us what it means to be human. A beautiful example is a project we at Pantone developed a few years ago together with Eureka in Paris to celebrate the 150th anniversary of Impressionism. This started with a pretty simple idea. We’ve all been to a lot of industry events over the years. Some great ones and, frankly, plenty where you spend more time running between meetings than actually getting to know anyone. So me and a few industry friends started asking: what if we did it differently? Keep it small. Bring together really interesting people from different parts of the industry. No hard sales pitches. No overpacked agenda. Give people the time and setting to actually talk, build relationships, have some fun and maybe even make a few new friends. And because some of the best connections happen outside the conference room, we built the weekend around music too, with Sea.Hear.Now right in Asbury Park. Add in local summer at the Jersey Shore and it started to feel like we had something. This Friday, that idea becomes real with the first JERSEY. We’ve purposely kept year one intimate, but I have a feeling we may be onto something. Can’t wait to welcome everyone to the Shore and see where this goes. And if you’re already thinking you should have been invited 😂, we’re starting to hear from people interested in joining us next year. Inquire about JERSEY 2027 here: https://lnkd.in/gAKBFY-h #JERSEY #Marketing #Media #AsburyPark #SeaHearNow Paul Josephsen Frank Trofa
