Why I like it for us: It’s a beautiful colorful attraction that immediately gets your attention. It’s a competitive social experience for our guests. The games are easy to understand the objectives. The Silicon Valley Women of Influence Awards have been described as celebrating those who “set a positive example.” While I’m deeply humbled by that description, I also know that none of us gets here alone. We are each shaped by the people who believe in us, challenge us, encourage us, and inspire us every day, including our colleagues (especially those at Guardant!) mentors, friends, and family. One of the highlights of the evening was having my daughter Bridget Monroe by my side. Sharing that moment with her meant the world to me as she continues to inspire me to be the best I can be. Thank you to the Silicon Valley Business Journal for this meaningful recognition. And, a very special thank you to Nenuca Syquia for the nomination and for always setting the example for those around her to also lead with purpose, generosity, and heart.

Here's 3 things you should be doing in Q3 to ensure you get the best outcome: 1. Don't wait until the end of the year to deliver impactful results. By that time, ratings have already been decided. Q3 is the perfect time to land big projects. 2. Track your wins and make them known. Create a win sheet and update it weekly. Ensure you are sharing your results with leaders who will be in talent calibrations. Make it easy for others to promote your work. 3. Own your career development.
