If being involved in the process of shepherding game-changing innovations from initial idea all the way to athlete* bodies around the world excites you, then maybe this role is for you. We’re looking for folks with business operations acumen, portfolio management wizardry, and a predilection for process and data. Sound like something you’d enjoy, or know someone whose dream job this might be? Smash that apply or share button below! Brian Lamka reposted thisBrian Lamka reposted thisOur CV team at GameChanger has been hard at work this past year building and launching a variety of new models and capabilities. This year is all about scaling what we've built, and to support that we're looking for someone who can work directly with our research and MLOps teams to develop the standards, tooling, and processes that shorten the cycle from idea to impact. This is a critical role for us as we continue to develop new ideas and iterate on those currently running in production. If this kind of cross-functional, platform-level ML engineering gets you fired up, we'd love for you to check it out and apply! Senior Applied Machine Learning Engineer, II 🔗 https://lnkd.in/gcfbkFNH

I’ve spent most of my career around brands that have a special place in people’s lives, and Panera is certainly one of those brands. It is an honor and a privilege to be help lead such an iconic brand with a rich history, a unique position, and an incredible amount of opportunity ahead. I’m looking forward to spending time in our cafés, learning from our team members and franchisees, and working alongside our amazing CEO Paul Carbone and the entire Panera team to bring our Panera RISE strategy to the next level. I want to personally thank Paul Carbone and José Cil for entrusting me and giving me the opportunity to be a part of something special. There’s a lot of work ahead, but I couldn’t be more energized to get started. Day one. Let’s go!!!

Brian Lamka liked thisBrian Lamka liked thisI'm adding something new to my work. I'm now working with Insight Partners as a senior advisor, partnering with Customer Success and post-sale leaders across their portfolio companies and contributing to their AI Transformation practice. My role there is the same thing I've been doing for years - bringing frameworks and practical approaches to post-sale teams under pressure to improve retention, drive expansion, and operate more efficiently. Increasingly, that means helping leaders figure out where AI actually moves the needle and where it doesn't. I'm continuing to work with my own clients, write, and speak as I always have. This adds a new dimension to that work. It doesn't replace it. What makes this particularly interesting is the leverage. Insight has hundreds of portfolio companies, and seeing how post-sale teams solve these challenges across so many businesses means the guidance I bring to any one of them is grounded in what's actually working elsewhere. That's the goal - help these teams keep more customers, grow more revenue from the ones they have, and operate more efficiently while they do it. Thanks to Samma Hafeez, Hilary Headlee, and 🦄Pablo Dominguez for the invitation.

Naming something in the negative is tricky, and "headless" is abstract to boot. Plus, headless isn't usually a good look. See the Headless Horseman (real name: Unknown ) or the proverbial chickens running around (real name: Dinner 🍗 ). So what's the real name for "headless" in the Salesforce world? Multi-surface is probably closest. It's still abstract, but here's what it means: using Salesforce outside the traditional Salesforce UI, in the tools people actually prefer to work in, like Claude, Slack, ChatGPT, and Teams. To make that happen, Salesforce has been rolling out Headless 360, a set of capabilities that includes MCP, APIs, the Headless Experience Layer (HXL), and more. At Dreamforce, I had the pleasure of presenting a demo of how Akoonu is building for headless: taking a traditional in-app workflow from RevWorks and turning it into a headless experience. Full video below. It's a landing page, but no sign up needed - just click to watch! 👇 #df26 #headless360

Many get bogged down by the idea that they can handle every complex problem with their core team of nimble generalists (you can’t) and don’t hire specialists. There are multiple fantastically successful startups that have waited too long to shift out of initial build mode. As a rule, it tends to be earlier than you think and sooner than feels natural. I highlight a few key hires, and when I think founders should make them, in my latest article for @N47. You can find it here: https://lnkd.in/g8bQwDki

Brian Lamka liked thisBrian Lamka liked thisI am incredibly proud to share that my campaign for Palo Alto City Council has been officially endorsed by the Sierra Club's Loma Prieta Chapter. This endorsement means a great deal to me—not just as a political milestone, but because environmental stewardship is core to my identity. I’ve been an environmentalist for as long as I can remember. When I think about the most important thing I can do in this world, it’s making sure people still have a planet to enjoy long after I am gone. A biology degree from Stanford taught me the immense value of ecosystem services—and just how delicate these natural systems are. Five years on Palo Alto's Planning and Transportation Commission (PTC) gave me the chance to actually protect them. Environmental stewardship isn't about limiting growth; it's about keeping it possible. On the Commission, I have channeled my passion into concrete policy. I am incredibly proud to have championed Palo Alto’s bird-friendly design ordinance and our dark skies ordinance, ensuring meaningful changes that protect urban wildlife without over-burdening homeowners. I've also pushed for our updated Stream Corridor Protection Ordinance, to protect vital riparian habitats while respecting the rights of property owners to use their land. I’ve voted to expand the updated Palo Alto Tree Ordinance, updated our zoning code to accommodate electrification, and consistently scrutinized development projects to minimize environmental impacts. The Sierra Club has been protecting wild places and fighting for clean communities since 1892. I am deeply honored to carry their endorsement into this race and am committed to bringing this science-backed, lifelong dedication to the City Council. If protecting Palo Alto's environment matters to you, I hope you'll join me. Come to a neighborhood gathering, put up a yard sign, or simply share this post with a neighbor who cares about the future of Palo Alto. https://lnkd.in/dHRTsM7W

I’m leaving with a deep sense of gratitude for the people I’ve had the privilege to work with, the brilliant, resilient and creative teammates and partners who care deeply about customers and about making an impact. Over the years, I’ve been lucky to work alongside teams that built, launched, and improved so many meaningful experiences for buyers, sellers, and the broader eBay community. I’m proud of what we created together, but even more proud of how we did it: with curiosity, candor, resilience, and a real commitment to making things better. If I’ve learned or repeated anything along the way, it’s this… stay focused on what matters, keep the customer at the center, turn frustration into curiosity, and ask lots of questions, but also keep it short! There is so much talent, heart, and determination at eBay, and I have no doubt the best is still ahead. Thank you to everyone who made this chapter so meaningful ❤️ 💙 💛 💚 .

Brian Lamka liked thisBrian Lamka liked thisI dropped my daughter off at Northwestern this week. Years of travel ball, early flights and long drives to fields. The next chapter belongs to her, though I'll still be there watching as her biggest fan :) The same week, Treasury Outcomes completes its first paid client engagement. This is a well run treasury program doing almost everything right. We still found a number of significant opportunities. They were there because the information you need to see them doesn't arrive in any report a treasury team gets. You have to know where to look, and have the time and the analytics to go find them. What I'd underline is the speed. There was no system to implement. The engagement was P&L accretive in month one, and some of the recommendations were already in motion before we finished the final report. I'm glad the first one tested the Treasury Outcomes thesis against a good team rather than an easy one. One chapter ends. This one is just starting. Your treasurer usually knows where the money is. We help them go get it.

I'm happy to welcome Adam Orth, Charlotte Cook, and Cisco Maldonado to our Midwest Games team. As we grow the business and global opportunities to help game publishing and dev teams succeed, adding even more experienced leadership expands our capabilities in many exciting ways. Ben explains the details well in his post below, but as a final point I'll just say it is great to have this momentum and extra horsepower heading into GDC. Can't wait to talk with folks there about the opportunities that may come from partnership!
