Learning about finances in high school lays the foundation for lifelong financial empowerment. By gaining these practical skills in budgeting, saving, and investing, students can take control of their futures and make informed decisions that will benefit them throughout their lives. For young women in particular, financial education is vital. Research shows that women tend to live longer than men, making it even more important for them to plan for long-term financial stability. Yet, studies reveal that women are 80% more likely to face financial insecurity in retirement compared to men. Additionally, about 63% of women say they wish they had been taught more about money and investing at a younger age. By equipping these students with the tools they need now, we can help close these gaps and ensure they are prepared to confidently manage their finances. I’m eager to see how my students will take these lessons and apply them in their own lives! #financialeducation #finance #lifeskills #youthdevelopment #empoweringgirls

I take immense pride in what we’ve built, the peace of mind we’ve brought to families and individuals, and the hundreds of fantastic relationships we’ve cultivated. I am so proud of this firm and all the good we’ve accomplished together, with even more exciting developments on the horizon. I want to express my gratitude to the many individuals who have contributed to our journey. A special thanks to my partner, Kelly Dancy, whose support has been nothing short of vital to our success. I also extend my appreciation to all our employees, both present and past, who have played a role in building the firm. There were 39 others who I find myself looking up to doing amazing work not only in their own work but the community, the state, & The World! Grateful to now be in the prestige club of others who have won in the past as well. The Baird Center and The Biz Journal did an amazing job creating a memorable night for awardees, theirs friends , family , and colleagues. Thank you to Greater Milwaukee Committee, family, friends and loved ones for their support(pictured and not pictured).
