“Grant took over a marketing team at Domino that did a lot of individual things well, but lacked an integrated approach to building market awareness and driving leads. It was a thrill to join Eyal Knoll, Robert Novick, Walter Charnizon, and Scott Schulman on Tuesday for the “Extending Revenue Streams with Data-Driven Events” session at the AWS Publishing Symposium. Great discussion on how live events contribute to revenue diversification. One theme that resonated is that events are not just incremental revenue. They are powerful sources of first-party data. When event data is connected with subscription, content, commerce, and advertising signals, publishers gain a more complete view of their audience and can unlock smarter monetization strategies. At ArcSpan, we spend a lot of time thinking about how to unify these signals into a cohesive audience strategy. Encouraging to see the industry leaning into this direction. Thank you to Amazon Web Services (AWS) for hosting. This continues to be one of my favorite events each year.
