Jarrett Thomas shared thisOn this episode of More Than A Title, I sit down with Ray Lyles, Founder and CEO of Rose Noire Productions, to talk about his journey from fashion and entrepreneurship to finding a bigger purpose in helping young people see opportunities they may not always see for themselves. Ray has a saying that really represents the work he does: “Meet them where they are.” Through Rose Noire Productions, he’s taken his background in fashion, business, and creativity and turned it into programs that connect with young people through things they can actually relate to. From student-led fashion shows and mentorship to working within NYC schools and developing youth programs, Ray is showing that sometimes the best way to get young people back in the classroom is to first give them a reason to believe they belong there. But like we always do on More Than A Title, I wanted to get beyond the CEO title. We talk about where Ray’s passion for this work comes from, his own journey as an entrepreneur, what he’s learned from working directly with young people, the importance of representation, and the responsibility that comes with trying to make a real difference in your community. We also get into education, entrepreneurship, mentorship, fashion, creativity, and what our young people really need from the adults who say they want to help them. Ray isn’t just talking about change from the outside. He’s in the schools, in the community, and doing the work. And that’s what made this conversation one I wanted to have. tune in episode 326

Jarrett Thomas shared thisThis episode is a little different. No guest. Just me as I celebrate episode 325. 2026 has been one of the most eventful years since I started More Than A Title, and I wanted to take some time to really sit down and talk about it. From some incredible conversations and opportunities with the show to recently being part of the 5th Annual Bronx Summit, there have been a lot of wins this year. But there have also been challenges, uncomfortable moments, things that didn't work out the way I expected, and plenty of lessons along the way. In this episode, I’m talking about all of it. I recap my experience at the Bronx Summit, what it meant to be part of something happening in the community, the people and conversations that came from it, and why experiences like that remind me that More Than A Title has become bigger than just a podcast. I also get into some of the biggest lessons 2026 has taught me about myself—learning to trust the process, understanding that every opportunity isn't necessarily the right opportunity, becoming more comfortable with saying no, and realizing how important it is to protect your time and energy. On the business side, I talk about what I'm learning while continuing to build More Than Media, the importance of relationships, consistency, positioning, telling better stories and understanding that having great content is only part of building a real business. And of course, I talk about podcasting. After hundreds of episodes, I'm still learning. I'm learning more about what makes a great conversation, what actually connects with an audience, why the number of views doesn't always tell the whole story, and why sometimes you have to stop chasing numbers and remember why you started in the first place. This episode is really a check-in. Where I've been. What I've learned. What I need to improve. And where we're going next. We're not done with 2026 yet. 4th quarter. Let’s go. If you're an executive, entrepreneur or brand with a story worth telling, More Than Media can help you tell it the right way. From building out your podcast and developing your brand to creating a content strategy that connects with the right audience, our goal is bigger than simply making content. We want to help you turn your story and expertise into something that can build trust, create opportunities and ultimately drive revenue.

Jarrett Thomas shared thisFor anyone thinking about giving up 💎✊🏾 This clip really hit me. Actor Roy G., best known for his role as Simon in The Meteor Man, along with appearances on shows like Martin, The Jamie Foxx Show, Married… with Children, and many others, shares a powerful story about a season when everything felt like it was closing in. He was three months behind on his mortgage. The pressure was mounting. The weight of the world was on his shoulders. And he had reached the last available day to come up with the money to save his home. Then… God showed up in a way only God can. 🙏🏾 He received a residual check for the exact amount he needed to catch up on his mortgage. 👑🙏🏾 Sometimes the journey isn’t pretty. Sometimes you can look successful on the outside while privately fighting battles that nobody knows about. And sometimes, what feels like the end is simply a season you’re being asked to walk through. So, for whoever needs to hear this today: KEEP GOING. ✊🏾 Put in the work. Stay committed. Keep your faith. You may not understand the timing right now, but don’t give up in the middle of the story. It’s a season — not your destination. And when you come through it, make sure you understand the lesson, the growth, and the reason. 💎🙏🏾👑 Full episode on Alive Podcast Network and all streaming channels. New episode today at 6:30 PM

Jarrett Thomas shared thisThis might be one of the weirdest moments I’ve ever experienced professionally. It feels like everybody is in survival mode. It’s either you got it… or you don’t. I hear from people who have been looking for work for 12, 18, even 24+ months — people who are incredibly talented, experienced, and honestly overqualified for some of the roles they’re applying for. And I get it. I have an inbox full of rejection emails myself. More than I can count at this point. And what’s even crazier is that even when you have relationships, connections, and people who know you and your work, it can still be tough as hell. So you start realizing something: Nobody is coming to save you. Not because people don’t care. Not because people don’t want to help. But because everybody is trying to navigate their own uncertainty, their own bills, their own careers, their own families, and their own future. So what do you do? You keep showing up. Even on the days you don’t feel like it. Even when the rejection emails pile up. Even when you question whether what you’re building is actually going to work. Even when you feel like you’re doing everything right and still getting told “no.” You keep going. Because rejection is not the end of the story. Sometimes it’s just part of the price you pay for refusing to give up on the vision. I’ve had plenty of moments where I’ve felt like, “Man… what the hell is going on?” 😂 But I’m still here. Still building. Still creating. Still making connections. Still betting on myself. Still believing in what I’m capable of. And I’m still chasing the same goal: building one of the biggest media companies in the world. Not just for the sake of having a big company, but because I believe media can create opportunities, tell stories that deserve to be told, open doors for people, and ultimately create real change. So if you’re in a season where the doors aren’t opening yet, keep going. If you’re getting rejected, keep going. If you’re rebuilding, keep going. If you’re tired, rest — but keep going. Your current circumstances don’t get to define the size of your future. I don’t know exactly how this chapter ends. But I know I’m not done. We keep showing up. We keep building. We keep believing. And eventually, the work has to speak for itself. 💯 More Than A Title x More Than Media ✊🏾

Xanthe’s job? Creating a space for Pinterest that’s memorable, creative, and most importantly, enjoyable for their community. 🔥 I actually had the pleasure of seeing Pinterest’s activation in person, and it was truly one of a kind. Jarrett Thomas shared thisMama, I made it. 👑🔥💪🏾 So grateful to be a part of The Bronx Summit 🅱️❌ and to share the stage with such an amazing panel. I’ve been on a lot of stages, but this one means something different. To speak with my people, represent my community, and be recognized by organizer’s and the city of New York for the work we’re doing means everything to me. 💪🏾👑 None of this happens without the people who continue to rock with me — the show, the guests, the listeners, my supporters, and everybody who believes in what we’re building. Thank you. For real. ❤️

Jarrett Thomas shared thisLegendary Queens producer Mr. Fingaz takes us back to the origins of Ja Rule’s first hit single, “Holla Holla.” At the time, he was planning to move to Atlanta. Then he had a meeting with Irv Gotti. The 3rd track he played for Irv was “Holla Holla”… And the rest became history. 🔥🎬 This is a perfect example of how sometimes, what’s for you will be for you. 💯 Think about how many things had to go RIGHT — or even WRONG — for that exact moment to happen. The timing. The meeting. The song. The opportunity. It was supposed to happen. 🙌🏾 S/O to my brother @mrfingaz for pulling up and sharing his story, and a special thank you to my brother @jah_antics for being my special co-host and holding it down. 🔥 Full episode out now on Alive Podcast Network and all streaming platforms. 🎥 YouTube: More Than A Title: Mr. Fingaz — The Producer Behind Murder Inc’s Sound Edit: by More Than Media 🎥 #MoreThanATitle #HipHop #MusicIndustry #JaRule #MurderInc #Producer #Queens

Jarrett Thomas shared thisOn this episode of More Than A Title, we’re sitting down with AD The Kingmaker for a real conversation about relationships, success, and why we should put the same energy into building our households that we put into building our businesses. We’re talking about communication, accountability, finances, leadership, partnership, intimacy, and what it really takes for two people to build something successful together. How do you balance ambition with being present at home? What happens when one person is growing faster than the other? How do you handle money, roles, expectations, and disagreements without allowing the relationship to become another job? And most importantly, what does success really mean if your business is thriving but your household isn’t? AD The Kingmaker joins us to break it all down—the good, the uncomfortable, and the conversations couples sometimes avoid. Because building a successful life is about more than your career, your money, or your title. Your household deserves a winning strategy too. This is More Than A Title.

Jarrett Thomas reacted on thisJarrett Thomas reacted on thisRetail is changing. Fast. And I love being in the rooms where we’re talking about what comes next. ✨ What an incredible Shoptalk Fall — learning from some of the biggest minds in retail, commerce, technology and brand building…and having the opportunity to take the stage and add my own perspective to the conversation. There was plenty of talk about AI, personalization, social commerce, data and the technologies transforming how we shop. But my biggest takeaway was actually much simpler: Never lose sight of the consumer. What does she need? What problem are we solving? How do we make her life better? And how do we earn her trust — not just her transaction? As President of Vella Bioscience, those questions are particularly meaningful to me. We’re building in a category where women have historically been underserved, under-researched and too often expected to simply accept that certain experiences are “just part of being a woman.” We believe differently. So yes, I geeked out over the innovation, walked the floor, listened, learned, connected with some brilliant people — and was incredibly grateful to have a seat on the stage among so many retail giants. I left energized about where retail is going and even more excited about where Vella is going within it. More access. More innovation. More conversations. And a whole lot more to come. 🤎 #Shoptalk #VellaBioscience #RetailInnovation #WomensHealth #BrandBuilding #ConsumerExperience #Leadership #FutureOfRetail

Jarrett Thomas reacted on thisJarrett Thomas reacted on thisExcited and proud to announce that Evan Hughes is the new Chief Operating Officer at Refine Labs I remember personally recruiting Evan to Refine Labs in 2021 as Director of Demand Generation He quickly earned promotions to Senior Director and then VP of Demand as Refine Labs experienced a period of rapid growth in 2021 and 2022 He later took on an even bigger challenge: stepping in as VP of Marketing to our marketing function through a critical transition of moving the agency off founder-led marketing and building a full, repeatable marketing engine that no longer depends on any single person and drives a high volume of qualified inbounds for our agency As we have continued to scale, Evan has increasingly leaned into broader parts of the business beyond marketing, developing the operational range that made him the natural choice for this next step This change reflects our continued commitment to investing in building a leadership team to help us scale while also giving me the opportunity to focus on key growth opportunities to realize our vision We have big plans for the future and more exciting announcements coming soon For now, join me in congratulating Evan! Jarrett Thomas reacted on thisJarrett Thomas reacted on this"Did you ever think this is where your career would lead you?" my team member Heather asked me at 11pm last night, when we paused rehearsals for this morning's Celebrate keynote. "I had 100% certainty this is where my career would lead me," I said. Ten years at Gong and I've never been more excited about what the future holds for Revenue AI. Overflowing with gratitude for Amit Bendov trusting me to shove him into a magic box and for Shane Evans letting me roll him into a magic carpet in front of thousands of raving fans. We definitely brought the Vegas energy to Celebrate this morning. This was my big entrance on stage. Do you think we took the "boring" our of B2B?

We started by launching a stock photography platform, curating images that tell positive stories that positively represent the 92% aka the global majority... and now we're at the frontier of the AI revolution working to make sure creators are included in the AI economy, harmful stereotypes and biases are removed from the data used to train AI systems, and underrepresented communities see more benefits than harm. #aiforgood #aiforeveryone #pocstock

Relevance alone isn’t enough. Resonance is where real impact happens. Brian Gleason, CEO of Seedtag, recently joined AdExchanger’s “Inside the Stack” podcast to discuss Neuro-Contextual advertising and how it shifts the focus from what someone is watching to how that content makes them feel. “Neuro-Contextual fundamentally changes how the ecosystem works. Looking ahead, we see a world where contextual isn’t an add-on at the end — it’s the foundation from the beginning,” he shares. 🎧 Listen to the full episode: https://lnkd.in/e6eF8sx2 #NeuroContextual #AdTech #PrivacyFirst
