Jason Brenner shared thisShubh Sinha and I cannot remember, but many years ago, one of us first said 'compliance is the mother of invention.' While we workout the trademark filing, I wholeheartedly still agree. I recently had the opportunity to moderate an incredible panel of innovators: Rodney F.: Rodney F. of Sanofi, Wesley Holland of PurpleLab, and Timothy Nobles of Integral Privacy Technologies. It was a great conversation, and I humbly submit, worth the time to view for 30 minutes: https://lnkd.in/gBekQVJjPrivacy by Design: Unlocking Personalized Healthcare MarketingPrivacy by Design: Unlocking Personalized Healthcare Marketing

Jason Brenner shared thisLiveRamp recently co-sponsored a thoughtful roundtable discussion with our friends at solli on the effective use of AI for Pharma marketing. I'm grateful for the Solli team, especially Richard Springham and Sophie Atkinson, for enabling such a great conversation. I personally learned a lot, and hope folks will enjoy the content.Jason Brenner shared this*JUST RELEASED* The Effective Use of AI in Pharma Media roundtable content is now live on solli. AI is already reshaping pharma media. But what does effective adoption actually look like in practice? For solli’s latest roundtable, The Effective Use of AI in Pharma Media , we brought together leaders from across pharma, agencies, technology companies and publishers for a closed, filmed conversation in New York. The result is our new report exploring the opportunities — and realities — of putting AI to work across pharma media. From AI-powered efficiency and human oversight to richer audience intelligence, personalization, privacy, organizational adoption and the shift from simply providing information to generating actionable insights, the report identifies six key themes shaping the industry’s approach to AI today. One message came through clearly: AI is here to stay, but human expertise, judgment and context remain essential. What’s working? Where are the challenges? And what can the industry learn from those already putting AI into practice? Jason Brenner posted thisSo this is a first for me, offering some career/life advice on LinkedIn. But heck, now that I am an elder statesman, I figure now is the time. So here goes: There is a rationale for the 'fake it til you make it' strategy. But as an ethos, I think a deeper approach to both career and life is to admit, like Socrates, that you know nothing. Ask questions. Ask a lot of questions. If you don't know what an acronym means, ask. If you don't get the concept, ask. If you aren't clear on the mission, ask. Not only will it provide value by forcing others to deepen their understanding of the topic, it is the only way that you will one day be able to form a POV on the matter at hand. It's also a great way to score some really great mentors. I missed out on this last part a lot because I was too proud to admit that I didn't know something. Don't cut yourself off from knowledge or more profound relationships due to pride. Happy Friday. Good Shabbos.

Jason Brenner posted thisGetting in my final Cannes 2026 reflection post before the holiday weekend. One of the reasons why this was the most meaningful Cannes for me, was my opportunity to meet so many fellow members of the Jewish Advertising Community and welcome several new members from across the globe. Jewish Advertising Community hosted several activations including a webinar with Sir Martin Sorrell hosted by Ed Lee and Andy Stern. Of the many great moments I experienced connecting with peers from around the world, two are sticking with me: 1. A woman came up to me and thanked me for wearing a Magen David. She said that she cannot do that in London. She feels too afraid. 2. Another young woman said that she has been told that she should keep her Jewish associations quiet if she doesn't want to jeopardize her career advancement. The fact that two intelligent, capable, and successful women living in liberal democracies feel concerned about expressing their Jewish identity should wake us all up to the reality that there is a lot of work to be done to promote tolerance and embrace basic civics. Even within societies and cultures that supposedly learned these lessons a long time ago. My commitment to those women and to all of my fellow tribe is that I will continue to stand together, openly, proudly, and without apology.

Jason Brenner shared thisMajor congrats to Shubh Sinha and the wonderful team at Integral Privacy Technologies for the successful Series A raise. Since Integral first launched the team has been, er, integral, to LiveRamp and our ability to enable clients to unlock deeper insights and drive business outcomes faster.Jason Brenner shared thisWe’re excited to announce our $18M Series A, with participation from Venrex Partners, The General Partnership, Virtue Ventures, Caffeinated Capital, Array Ventures, GreatPoint Ventures, LiveRamp Ventures, HayStack Ventures, Also Capital, LifeX Ventures, Circle & Co, and Ws Investments. The first generation of AI was built on public, human-curated data. The next will be built on real-world data. The datasets carrying real human behavior are what now separate one AI system from another. AI companies want them. The companies that hold them want to put them to work. The barrier has always been risk. We solved that risk in healthcare, one of the most regulated data environments there is. Today we bring it to the rest of the economy. Integral's Forward Deployed Privacy Services embed statisticians, privacy engineers, and methodologists directly inside customer data pipelines. We transform the data so re-identification risk drops while the longitudinal relationships, rare cohorts, and behavioral signals that make it valuable stay intact. Then we measure the remaining risk independently, in the context of the specific dataset, use case, and recipient, and we keep measuring as the pipeline changes. The output is defensibility: what procurement teams, regulators, and commercial counterparties ask for before real-world data can move. A big thank you to our customers and partners. The data originators trusting us with their most sensitive assets, the AI teams building on what we ship, the platform partners betting on the same future. None of this happens without you.

Jason Brenner posted thisCannes 2026 did not disappoint. One of the highlights was a great panel hosted by iHeartMedia featuring Hoda Kotb and several brand leaders, including Zoë Lazarre PhD MPH from Genentech. I can say with hand on the bible, this is the first time I ever cried listening to a panel (looking around the room, I wasn't the only one.) The conversation anchored on a few key points including how brands can build trust with a public that increasingly places little faith in institutions or corporations. While some place high value in 'authenticity' I have always thought of this as a pretty garbage concept. In part, because one can be authentically a jerk or a fraud, the examples of which are depressingly long. What I think matters much more in business for building brand trust is integrity. To me, integrity is showing up and providing value, being reliable, consistent, honest, and responsive. This is what I believe consumers (not to mention voters and citizens) want from brands and brand leaders. The great healthcare and pharma brands that I work with establish their integrity thru their commitment to research, to delivering exceptional products, and for holding improving patient health as their highest goal.

Jason Brenner liked thisJason Brenner liked thisWhile we’ve made tremendous progress in #breastcancer education and care, a persistent awareness gap remains: we need to better understand that for many patients, finishing surgery, chemo or radiation doesn’t mean treatment is over. What follows can be a quieter, less visible chapter, with years of long-term treatment, and a need for information and support that doesn’t simply go away. This Breast Cancer Awareness Month, I’m excited to share About D@mn Time, a new Genentech initiative co-created with advocacy partners and women who have navigated early breast cancer firsthand. About D@mn Time brings the realities of breast cancer survivorship to the forefront and helps women find trusted information, practical tools and support. Meeting patients where they are means listening to their needs and ensuring that they have the information and confidence to speak up. When it comes to breast cancer survivorship, it’s About D@mn Time we said the quiet part out loud. I’m incredibly proud of the organization's efforts and thank you to our advocacy partners at Breastcancer.org, Young Survival Coalition (YSC), Latinas Contra Cancer (Original), Touch, The Black Breast Cancer Alliance Learn more here: https://bit.ly/4xPbHfY

This year’s theme—“Humanity in Action: Staying Human in the Age of AI”—goes right to the heart of where our industry is heading. AI isn't here to replace human potential; it’s here to partner with it. The real challenge is building the leaders of tomorrow—those who know how to harness AI to take our work to the next level without losing themselves in tech for technology's sake. Because behind every algorithm and every breakthrough, humanity is what gives work its soul. That’s why this year’s honorees are so special. These five outstanding leaders understand how to guide people through transformational change. They show us every day that true leadership means keeping empathy, culture, and human connection at the absolute center: 🏆 Kory Marchisotto —Human Impact Award 🏆 Jeff Lucas — Breakthrough Leader Award 🏆 Chrissie Hanson — Human-Centered Leadership Award 🏆 Nick Tran — Innovation with Impact Award 🏆 Todd Kaplan — Industry Luminary Award A huge congratulations to each of you. Thank you for showing us what it looks like to lead with both vision and heart. We’re also honored to welcome back Rishad Tobaccowala as our keynote speaker and host. Rishad’s unique ability to map out the future of technology while grounding us in what makes us human makes him the perfect voice to lead this evening. As VP of 212NYC, I couldn’t be prouder of this community. The Gala is always a special night to step back, celebrate the leaders who inspire us, and reconnect with the friends and colleagues who keep us grounded. Some key takeaways from Walmart Connect’s kickoff to the ANAs Masters of Marketing last week. Our massive out of home footprint (in-store screens, fuel stations and self check out) coupled with Vizio’s dominance in CTV reach and integrated marketing capabilities allow for a full funnel solution powered by accountable measurement and first party data. Three points jump out for me… 1. Retail media can now power holistic media strategies. 2.Uneven Adoption/application means early movers can seize a stronger share of voice more efficiently and 3. Maturing measurement solutions- including with CTV- are helping brands harness retail media’s full- funnel potential. #ana #walmartconnect #letssparksales

As Skai continues to release its 2026 State of Retail Media report, I'm so excited that so many of my perspectives have made the cut! The future of retail media isn't just about ads on retailer sites; it's about the data and using that data to power media everywhere. The report shows the fastest budget growth happening in: ✅ Social commerce (+50% net growth) ✅ CTV / streaming (+47%) ✅ DSP (+40%) I don't know about you, but what it tells me is that retail media is no longer a channel; it's the data layer for the entire media ecosystem. Now let's double-tap on the #DSP. 52% of marketers anticipate shifting investments away from open web DSPs and into retail media DSPs. The reason is simple: retail media DSPs are winning, not because they’re cheaper, but because they replace weak proxy signals with verified purchase behavior and attribution marketers can actually defend. It’s about using real retail signals to influence demand long before someone ever searches for your product, and measuring against actual sales. So if your retail media strategy still starts and ends with on-site ads, it's time for a rethink.

Tight budgets. Shifting priorities. Higher scrutiny. In the “era of accountability,” marketers have realized that proving the true impact of retail media investments is no longer negotiable. With shoppers increasingly spread across multiple stores and channels, it’s harder for brands to tell the full story on their own. That’s where third-party measurement comes in. In my latest article in #TotalRetail, I explore how third-party measurement helps brands and retailers capture the “halo effect”, or the impact that goes beyond store walls. Read the full article here for more, and check out #InMarket for more on how to make the most of your retail media measurement: https://lnkd.in/g4uwyqVK #RetailMedia #Measurement #Marketing #InMarket
