Jennie Ripps reposted thisJennie Ripps reposted thisWe’re on Good Day New York! We were so excited to see our founders — and our new product line, Spiked Pop — featured on Good Day New York! Our nostalgic hard soda is made with real ingredients, big flavor, and a whole lot of personality, and we’re excited to see it continue to make its way into more hands (and fridges!) across the country. We also whipped up a Cosmo cocktail (it's our SATC summer!) with one of our Functional Non Alcoholic Mixers — made with real fruit juice, botanicals, tea, and beneficial ingredients. This moment is pretty incredible, as we look at how much our brands have grown. Our products can be found in thousands of stores across the country, along with major retailers, hotels, stadiums, entertainment venues, and other iconic destinations. A huge thank you to the Good Day New York team for having us and giving us the opportunity to share our story. We’re so proud of how far we’ve come since mixing it all up in a kitchen....and even more excited for what’s ahead! Watch the full segment below. https://lnkd.in/euMAxBc3

The SIP Awards celebrate products that truly stand out with consumers, making this recognition especially meaningful. 🥇Spiked Pop Black Cherry — Gold Medal 🥈Spiked Pop Cream Soda — Silver Medal + Innovation Award We're bringing nostalgic soda flavors into a new era with real ingredients and bold taste. Whether it's the dark cherry flavor with a juicy hibiscus twist of Black Cherry or the smooth, vanilla-forward nostalgia of Cream Soda, every flavor is crafted to deliver the classic soda experience—without compromising on quality. From day one, our goal has been to reinvent hard soda with nostalgic flavors, real ingredients, and a cleaner approach. We're honored to see that vision recognized and grateful to everyone who has supported Spiked Pop along the way. https://sipawards.com/

Jennie Ripps shared thisHard soda is poppin! So incredibly proud….we are bullish on the category, and on Spiked Pop by Owl’s Brew’s place within it! Thanks BevNET.com for this lead article in their new issue about what’s happening in the space….and what an extraordinary honor to see our brand on the cover! Let’s GO!!!! Cc Maria LittlefieldJennie Ripps shared thisWe're honored to see Spiked Pop featured on the cover of BevNET.com Magazine's May/June 2026 issue. When we launched Spiked Pop earlier this year, our goal was simple: create a hard soda that delivers the nostalgic flavors people love, made with ingredients we'd actually want to drink. Just a few months later, seeing Spiked Pop on the cover of an industry publication that's helped shape the beverage conversation for years is incredibly meaningful. Thank you to the BevNET team for the feature. We're just getting started. 🍒🥤 Read the full issue below (pg 42). https://lnkd.in/gSfRWhqr

Jennie Ripps shared thisA shout out to the BevNET.com team for another powerful BevNET Live! They are the best: community-builders and champions for emerging -- and established -- brands in an industry that can be relentless. Whether in NYC or California, these gatherings remind me that there's a special bond between individuals whose passion is crafting — and selling & marketing — beverages (that we hope the consumer will love as much as we do!). It meant a lot to attend….and to share the stage with ZICO Rising founder Mark Rampolla and Remedy Organics co-founder Henry Kasindorf, moderated by Jeff Klineman. We discussed what innovation, pivoting, authenticity & relevance mean to each of us, and how our brands have evolved over the years (Owl's Brew most recently into our new line of Spiked Pop!).

I couldn’t be more proud of my team, we kept each other grounded. We made sure that on those long days we ate food and drank enough water. We built something that generations of Buffalo Bills fans will be able to love and be proud of. Thank you Legends Global and Michael Reilly for the chance to challenge myself in ways I never thought were possible and thank you for letting me prove to myself that I am capable of doing something really cool. Go Bills.

Important discussion shared by PeakBridge on ultra-processed foods and the clean-label movement that is growing louder. But one surprising reality is rarely discussed: Most “vanilla flavor” used in food products is not real vanilla. Not because companies don’t want to use it — but because natural vanilla supply has historically been too fragile, volatile, and limited to support global demand. For decades, the industry filled this gap with synthetic flavor systems. If the food industry is truly moving toward cleaner labels and real ingredients, then the ingredient supply chains behind them must evolve as well. At Vanilla Vida, our mission is to help enable that shift by building a scalable and reliable natural vanilla supply chain — combining controlled farming and industrial curing to bring stability to a historically unpredictable crop. #TheVanillaParadox

Coffee companies continue to trade at a premium — often well above the restaurant sector median. From Starbucks with a $90B+ market cap to the newly public Black Rock Coffee Bar, investors are rewarding the category’s combination of brand power, daypart diversification, and asset-light scalability. But the headline numbers obscure the nuance. Even within coffee, performance varies widely. Same category, different stories — some are growing fast but chasing margins; others command consistency but face saturation; and new entrants are yet to prove their brand. The spread reflects not hype, but differences in system sophistication, throughput, and capital discipline. Premium multiples in coffee aren’t just about caffeine (or beverage) culture — they’re a proxy for planning and execution. As valuations diverge, investors are leaning harder on diligence to separate durable growth from over-caffeinated projections. For emerging brands, understanding what drives those multiples — and engineering the systems behind them — will define who becomes the next Starbucks, and who stays local. #restaurants #valuation #coffee

CRIMSON WINE GROUP ACQUIRES RAEBURN Napa Valley’s Crimson Wine Group has acquired the Raeburn brand of wines from Purple Brands for $35.2M. Founded in 2013 under the purple brands umbrella, Raeburn leads the luxury Chardonnay and white wine categories. They produce over 250k cases annually, retailing between $15 and $25. Crimson reported LTM sales falling by more than 5% to $68M in September reflecting the challenging environment for alcoholic bev producers. The acquisition gives the company access to a higher margin, premium wine portfolio making them less dependent on volume. Some comps include: - ILLVA SARONNO HOLDING S.p.A. $117M acquisition of Averna & Zedda (3.82x sales) - Gruppo Caffo 1915 $117M acquisition of Cinzano & Frattina (1.33x sales) - Ashland Vintners $8.9M acquisition of Irvine & Roberts Vineyards

Searching for growth? General Mills has announced plans to boldly go after the over 55s in their quest to increase volumes. While much of CPG chases 18-45s or the latest wellness fad, General Mills is placing its bets on three under-the-radar, high-leverage consumer groups: - Adults aged 55 +, who account for nearly half of U.S. households and have enormous spending power. - Consumers using GLP-1 medications (up to 12%+ of U.S. adults), who’re eating less but seeking more protein, more functional nutrients, smaller portions. - Hispanic shoppers, where General Mills plans to ramp up innovation and engagement by ~40% in FY26. This move takes product renovation in new directions - redesigning products and formats to match how people now live, eat and feel. They’re innovating for smaller households (smaller pack sizes), higher-protein need states, functional nutrition and not just indulgence. And this isn’t an isolated move. It’s part of a broader CPG reboot as the absence of growth looms. One thing I appreciated in my conversation with Paul Weaver was the operator’s lens behind the headline. Paul directly addresses whether Big Alcohol and the 🌿 industry are enemies; and argues that Boston Beer’s participation makes it an ally for regulated access. For founders and beverage teams, the broader lesson is that category growth still has to meet product quality, regulatory durability, and a defendable reason to win.
