Jennifer L. Horspool shared thisIs AI-speak creeping into your writing style? It happened to me when I was using it too much to develop my programs - and wasn’t using my own style writing for days upon days - and it crept in. I knew it had. Then my client called me out on it. Thank goodness!! I had to get back to me. Im an excellent ghost writer and writer when left on my own. AI can make writing long-winded, wordy, over explaining, and way more generic than your own expertise. That’s why media wants and needs you to share your expertise in your own words - no AI! Your knowledge has value- to others and to yourself. Become the Distinguished Professional who stands out in this AI world. We position for this. And we’re back to our own writing. AI has a place- it’s just not everywhere. Your knowledge matters. #engagementpr #thedistinguishedyou #PRagency #AIwriting https://lnkd.in/gjByg-j8Now We’re All Starting to Talk Like AI Chatbots TooNow We’re All Starting to Talk Like AI Chatbots Too

Jennifer L. Horspool shared thisMoments in time of greatness. Impressive. One man is having the greatest day ever, the other is ready for his shot. And such is sports, such is business, such is life. If you're the one who caught the ball today, celebrate well. If you're the one who hit the ball and ALMOST had a homerun... you get another up-to-bat next game. Cheers to all. This is great sports.Jennifer L. Horspool shared thisThis is what #sports are all about. ⚾ 🏀 ⚽ 🎾 🎳 🏑 🏒 🏓 🥊 🥋 🥅 ⛳ ⛸ 🎯 🎱 Baltimore Orioles Center Fielder, Colton Cowser made a stunning, game-ending home-run-robbing catch against the wall to preserve a 2-1 victory over the Colorado Rockies at Coors Field. Clinging to a 2-1 lead with two outs in the bottom of the ninth inning, the #Rockies' Jake McCarthy hit a deep drive to center field that looked destined to be a walk-off, two-run home run. Cowser raced back and made a remarkable leaping grab above the center-field fence to pull the ball back and secure the final out. The incredible play sealed the #Orioles' fourth consecutive win and brought their record back to the .500 mark (69-69) for the first time since April. Manager Craig Albernaz called it the best play he had ever seen. #success #motivation #inspiration #inspire #baseball #baltimore #MLB Major League Baseball (MLB) #homerun #WebGem

Jennifer L. Horspool shared thisAre you inventor looking to take your product through the FDA? In this 3-part article series Kevin Coker, JD, MPH, MS, innovation strategist at MD Anderson Cancer Center, the world’s top-ranked cancer center with decades of CRO and research experience, and advisor to First Bight Investments, a venture fund/accelerator for synthetic biology and industrial biomanufacturing provides insights into two forces that have begun to reshape the practical realities of clinical development: 1) The reemergence of tariffs affecting pharmaceuticals and 2) Medical devices and persistent staffing shortages at the FDA. He says neither issue is theoretical. Both are already influencing how trials are budgeted, supplied, regulated, and delivered. And for those of operating inside academic medical centers and complex development ecosystems, their combined effect is changing risk, timing, and execution. Jennifer L. Horspool liked thisJennifer L. Horspool liked thisRIP CHATGPT? Not because AI chat is dead. But because using one AI tool for everything is starting to feel outdated. Need to write something? One AI. Need to create an image? Another AI. Need to make a video? Another. Need to build an app? Another. Need research, presentations, or automation? Yep… more tools. Too many tabs. Too many subscriptions. Too much switching. Now imagine having all of this in one place: https://lnkd.in/ghDZWkVD Here's what stood out: 1. Access to top AI models from a single dashboard Instead of managing multiple subscriptions, you can switch between models like GPT-6 Astra, Claude Opus 5, Claude Fable 5, Gemini 3.5 Flash, Grok 4.5, DeepSeek V4, and more from one platform. 2. AI image and video generation It includes leading image and video models such as Kling 3.0, Seedance 2.0, Nano Banana 2, Midjourney, GPT-Image 2.0, and more. 3. Build apps and websites without coding Describe what you want in plain English, and generate full-stack web apps, mobile apps, and websites without writing code. The platform also supports deployment directly from the same workflow. 4. Create complete presentations with AI Give it a topic, and it can generate presentations with researched content, charts, graphs, and structured slides. 5. Automate work using AI agents Build AI agents for research, dashboards, podcasts, travel planning, automated workflows, reports, and many other business tasks. 6. Build and host large-scale products. The platform also includes infrastructure for building and hosting more advanced products such as custom LLMs, social platforms, 3D applications, and complex software projects. 7. Parallel AI agents. One of the most interesting features is Agent Swarms, which can run multiple agents in parallel to handle many tasks simultaneously. That’s what Abacus AI is built for. One place to go from: “I have an idea” → “Abacus AI, help me build it.” The era of needing 10 different AI tools to get things done? That might actually be over. It's having one platform where models, agents, coding, research, automation, image generation, video generation, and deployment work together. Try it: https://lnkd.in/ghDZWkVD

Jennifer L. Horspool reacted on thisJennifer L. Horspool reacted on thisI got furloughed in 2009. No warning. Then I spent 17 years refusing a repeat. Your slow month decides nothing on its own. My furlough didn't either. What I did after it did. The moment doesn't write the story. The action does. A slow month is information about timing. Build one offer nobody can cancel on you. Send one message before the calendar goes empty. For 17 years, I never relied on one income again. One furlough in 2009 made that decision for me. Your slow month can decide something for you too. When your slow month goes quiet, you fear it's over. It only means the phone hasn't rung yet. Pick up the phone before the month decides for you. Come back here when silence tries to speak for you. Jennifer L. Horspool reacted on thisJennifer L. Horspool reacted on thisFifteen years ago today, I had no idea what was next. My position at Time Warner Cable had just been eliminated. I had already started Bennett Unlimited PR two years earlier, in 2009, because I felt a tug that something was about to change. What I didn’t know was whether I could actually make a living doing it. I remember wondering if anyone would hire me. I didn’t have the college degree so many jobs required, and I wondered if my age might work against me too. So I kept going. But I certainly didn’t do it alone. First and foremost, I thank God. Looking back over these 15 years, I can see His hand in so many of the doors that opened, the people He placed in my life and the opportunities I never could have planned for myself. ❤️🙏 Fifteen years later, Bennett Unlimited PR is still here. I’ve had the opportunity to work with incredible clients, nonprofits, businesses, entertainers and organizations. I’ve helped tell stories, create visibility, open doors and, thankfully, make a living doing work I truly love. And now I’m writing a book about many of the lessons I’ve learned along the way. Looking back at that post from 2011 is a little surreal. I was genuinely unsure of what was ahead. Turns out, I could do it. And the best part is, the doors are still opening. Full speed ahead. ❤️

So I was so thrilled Amy was willing to bring her incredible insights and enthusiasm to The Digital Patient Podcast. We dig into: → How to navigate AI model validation and re-validation in a world of resource constraints → Why patient-level personalization and aligning with patient references for modalities is critical for digital patient engagement → The importance of doing the hard work to have clean, high quality, small data in order to build high quality AI models - and how AI agents could accelerate this process → Why clinicians need to get in the trenches and tinker with AI and how clinicians must take the lead on how AI should be shaped → Why UCSD created both AI governance and Data governance teams - and how this has simplified getting the right people in the room to ask the right questions … and much, much more! The average rare disease patient spends 7–8 years just to get a diagnosis. Years of uncertainty, misdiagnoses, and searching for answers. And then — finally — a specialist identifies a treatment. It's FDA-approved. It's medically necessary. And an insurance company says no. AB 1887 (Assemblymember Rick Zbur) removes prior authorization and step therapy requirements for rare disease treatments — ensuring that when medicine has an answer, patients can actually reach it. Every rare disease patient deserves access to life-saving treatment.

Healthcare providers are on the front lines as healthcare is engulfed in a crisis of trust, culture wars and misinformation. Use social media to fight misinformation and rebuild trust in medicine, says top physician creator Dr. Mikhail Varshavski, who has attracted millions of followers — 5.1 million on Instagram and 14.4 million on YouTube — with interesting educational content, expert interviews, and insights to help break down misinformation. Dr. Mike encourages healthcare providers to add social media skills to their toolkit. Being as unbiased and nonpartisan as possible is key to building a trusting community. “We’ve proven that social media can be a place where you can make meaningful connection, you can find communities, you can get good information in a relatable, transparent way. I hope that this could be a wake-up call for us in the healthcare space, understanding that if we’re choosing not to be there for our patients, what’s going to happen is the void will be filled by bad actors, grifters and snake oil salesmen who will take advantage of our patients and misguide them.” Read the full Healio interview. #healthcare #misinformation #disinformation #socialmedia #physiciancreators

What happens when oncology leaders from Canada, Mexico, and the U.S. come together to tackle one of cancer care’s toughest challenges—rural access? At ACCC’s second Global eXchange panel, the conversation was clear: geography should never determine the quality of care a patient receives. The session revealed striking realities: patients flying hundreds of miles for treatment, Indigenous communities facing language barriers, and fragmented health systems delaying diagnoses for months. Yet, it also showcased hope—shared solutions that transcend borders. From patient navigation programs and culturally tailored outreach to telehealth and rotating clinics, these strategies are proving that collaboration works. The ACCC Global eXchange isn’t just a discussion—it’s a movement to share lessons across health systems and empower oncology professionals to build equitable care models. Whether you’re in a rural U.S. county or a remote Canadian territory, these insights can help you close gaps and improve outcomes. What would an earlier answer have changed? For so many people, the answer isn't just about treatment. Earlier answers could affect care planning, eligibility for clinical research, conversations with loved ones, financial decisions or simply the ability to move forward with greater clarity. In healthcare, some of the hardest challenges begin long before a diagnosis. Patients and families face uncertainty, ask difficult questions and make decisions without all the information they need. Earlier understanding may help create opportunities for earlier action, more informed decisions and, in some cases, more time. At Danaher, their diagnostics companies are part of a connected ecosystem that brings together science, technology and expertise to help accelerate understanding and support more informed decisions when they matter most. Throughout September, Danaher will look at the science, collaboration and diagnostic innovation helping advance understanding in some of healthcare's most complex challenges, and the role connected ecosystems can play in accelerating progress. Start by exploring how their diagnostics businesses innovate to outpace disease: https://lnkd.in/ezwijr5R
