Since launching in 2022, PORCH Marietta has grown to support 15 pantry partners, demonstrating how quickly community-driven solutions can take root and expand. And this is just one example of how volunteers, donors, and local leaders are working together every month across the PORCH network to ensure reliable, dignified access to food. I wanted to be fully present with family, break 100 on the golf course (now chasing 90), sleep past 4am (most days!), and read more than just email. Lori Webber shared thisIt’s hard to believe I retired five years ago – it honestly feels like a lifetime ago, because in many ways it was. I cherish the 40 years I spent in high-tech as a marketer: the places I saw, the people I met, the challenges I tackled, and the opportunities I was afforded. Those experiences gave me skills and confidence I still lean on today. When I retired, my team predicted I’d start a second career in volunteering, and I guess they were right. Today I’m channeling my energy into organizations near and dear to my heart – PORCH Communities and The Green Chair Project – because giving back has been the most humbling and rewarding experience of my life. Whether I’m helping establish neighborhood food drives or furnishing homes for families in need, I know my greatest legacy is the impact I will leave on the people who need my help the most. So, if you’re approaching retirement – or simply seeking a new challenge – find a cause that speaks to you. Reach out to a charity you admire, offer your expertise in marketing, HR, IT, finance, or operations, whatever, and see how your decades of know-how can help. My son's 94 year old great grandmother, Gigi, sat courtside under an umbrella and never once talked about leaving early. 94 years old, in that heat, to watch a middle school football game. His 4th game of the year. I have almost no memory of my own grandparents. They died when I was young. Whatever they had to give me, I never got the chance to collect it. No spoiling, mashed potatoes or crumpled up dollar bills. My dad. My mom. My brother. All three gone in the last 15 or so years. I was angry at my dad for a long time. He was an alcoholic. He was abusive. I forgave him anyway. I was angry at my mom too, for staying in that marriage longer than she should have. I forgave her too. My sons have two loving, fully engaged parents. Even after a divorce five years ago. I won the lottery on co-parenting. So did they. A family from their mom's side too, 25 to 30 family members, all within 10 miles of each other. A Gigi. A Grandma. A Grandpa. Uncles, Aunts and cousins. People who actually want them over. People my boys want to be around. Gigi is the one who holds it together. Kind. Generous. Shows up every single time, heat or not. Still gives you the side eye if you get sassy with her. At 94. This cracks me up every time. I give her reasons to give me the side eye :) You don't get to keep anyone forever. Hug your people. Tell them you love them. Forgive them while you still can. I waited too long to learn that. I don't plan on wasting the years I've got left.

Lori Webber reacted on thisWhat a way to close out Hunger Action Month! 💚 For the second year in a row, PORCH Communities partnered with Bank of America to activate financial centers and towers in collecting food for local hunger relief organizations. One of my favorite parts of my work is creating connections between people who want to help and organizations already doing incredible work in their communities. Corporate volunteerism can be such a powerful tool when we create opportunities that are accessible, locally connected, and meaningful for the people participating. I’m grateful to Stanley Hovest and the BofA team for continuing to partner with PORCH, and to all of the local organizations that worked with us to receive these donations. Excited to continue learning and working toward even better opportunities for employees to take action against hunger in their own communities!Lori Webber reacted on thisToday is the last day of Hunger Action Awareness month, and for the second year in a row we partnered with our friends at PORCH Communities . We were able to collect and deliver to many of our community partners donations from our 32 financial centers, Raleigh tower, Chapel Hill tower and Fayetteville tower!!! Lori Webber liked thisLori Webber liked thisI ended a 10 year relationship. It's been 60 days. Some noticed a change in me, most didn't notice anything at all. Her name was Just for Men. I started going gray in my 30s. That's about when we met. Ten years, same box, 25 minutes all in, every single week, like clockwork. Somehow, it looked like a painter's studio by the time it was all over. To this day I don't know how it ended up on the sink, the mirror, my clothes, my shoulders, the floor. Getting set up looked like laying down crime scene material just to get started. Gloves, gadgets, brushes. Some combination of crime scene and artist studio. One time, I got my 12 year old son involved. The gloves didn't fit his lil hands. The mess got worse. That was the day I first asked myself what message I was actually sending him Somewhere in there it stopped being about the hair. Truth is, I felt societal pressure to look younger, and she was how I handled it. Sixty days ago, I stopped calling, stopped texting and stopped picking her up every two weeks on the grocery run. The ones that noticed could not tell if I had grown a beard, got a tan, or had been working out. One guy at the gym finally just asked, "Are you getting gray?" Ten years of managing something every single week, and almost nobody said a thing or even noticed. I want to be clear, I have zero judgment on a little help with hair color. As a matter of fact, if my authenticity calls for a shade of blond someday, or something else entirely, who knows what the future holds. Gray well. Or silver, if you're feeling generous. Either way, it's staying. For now. What's your vote: colored or all natural?

I'm incredibly grateful for the honor, but it also gave me a chance to reflect on something I strongly believe: leadership is a team sport. Throughout my career, I have been fortunate to work with remarkable people who trusted me, challenged me, taught me, and supported me through both successes and setbacks. Any impact I have made has been possible because of the talented teams around me who were willing to embrace change, take risks, and help turn vision into reality. The older I get, the more I realize that our greatest achievements are not the results we deliver, but the people we develop and the opportunities we create for others to grow. Thank you to TITAN 100 for this recognition. And thank you to every colleague, mentor, leader, friend, and family loved one who has been part of my journey (you know who you all are).
