Quorum based approach for Data Replication across Servers with Fault Tolerance in Distributed Systems
- Implemented a tree-based quorum system in distributed system.
A system that stores data in multiple replicas spread across the network
•System is highly scalable, conforms to any no. of servers and clients.
•Clients can Read and Write in parallel
•Established reliable network connection among all nodes using TCP/IP connection.
•Multi-threading and socket programming -
Ricart-Agrawala algorithm for distributed mutual exclusion
See project- Ricart-Agrawala algorithm for distributed mutual exclusion, with the optimization proposed by Roucairol and Carvalho.
- Established reliable network connection among all nodes using TCP/IP. Design involved Multi-threading and socket programming.
-
Scale Free Topology Generation using Barabasi-Albert Model
JAVA based programming for creating initial network topology and new nodes add up by Growth Preferential attachment scheme as per Barabasi-Albert model. Implemented multi-threading in JAVA for continuously listening TCP/UDP ports and Socket Programming in UNIX for node communication through TCP/UDP connection; executed Distance Vector Routing Protocol.
