Meg Nohe reposted thisMeg Nohe reposted thisA few years ago, Amulet Scientific partnered with Imperial College London researchers on a study pushing the limits of portable electrochemical sensing — monitoring hemoglobin levels in rowers crossing the Atlantic Ocean. They were studying sports anemia, or exercise-induced hemolysis—the rupture of red blood cells. That study, led by Dr. Owen Griffiths, PhD and Professor Tony Cass, was recently published. Meg Nohe shared thisMany thanks to Dmitry Galyamin for this excellent article and his forward-looking perspective on the future of miniaturized electrochemistry!Meg Nohe shared thisLatest from the Amulet Scientific blog! Traditional lab testing is precise but slow and expensive. Rapid test strips often trade accuracy for speed. In between is a growing field of portable, quantitative tools that work to reliably test outside the lab. This article explores the limits of rapid kits like lateral flow assays and how miniaturized electrochemical systems can enable lab-grade, on-site testing—including how Amulet Scientific is advancing compact in-field testing and food safety detection. Meg Nohe reposted thisMeg Nohe reposted thisI first came across the #Amulet potentiostat during my PhD. I needed a few highly portable potentiostats to test my sports anaemia sensor in the field. When I say field, I mean the incredibly harsh environment of a rowing boat in the middle of the Atlantic ocean. This came with a few requirements; it needed to have a long battery life, be very easy to use, and be resistant to ocean spray. Thankfully, on this Atlantic voyage, the Amulets performed excellently. Since then, the team at Amulet Scientific has developed an app to make method customisation and uploading even easier. Straight out of the box, the Amulets can be used for a wide range of in-field sensing applications, including food testing, environmental monitoring and health/performance tracking. If you think the Amulet potentiostat could add value to your project, then do check them out at www.AmuletScientific.com And if you’re in need of electrodes, feel free to message me directly, or visit www.ogcarbon.co.uk And off course a massive thanks to the #Enginoars for successfully rowing the Atlantic Ocean... The easy part ;)

Meg Nohe shared thisWe’re excited to partner with ElectroSeek to expand access to the Amulet potentiostat for researchers and electrochemical professionals!Meg Nohe shared thisLet me introduce ElectroSeek! The marketplace for electrochemical equipment. We have all spent hours searching for a potentiostat, an electrode, or a redox mediator. The process is slow, confusing, and far from efficient. Yet we never waste a minute on other daily things because we have solutions like Airbnb or Amazon, and marketplaces for practically everything. I realised there was no solution in #electrochemistry… so I decided to build one, and together with Lluis Simon Argemi, we are developing this platform side by side. ➡️ Imagine opening a category called “Potentiostats”, filtering by EIS, current range, potential range, or portability… ➡️ Or searching for a 1 M calomel reference electrode with a PTFE body… And finding it all in under two minutes. You will also discover reliable companies and products you didn’t even know existed but that can become extremely useful in your day-to-day work. ✅ And the best part: more than 20 companies (and increasing) have already confirmed their presence before launch and we already have hundreds of products. We are opening soon. Follow us on LinkedIn and join the waitlist in our webpage to be among the first to try it. And if you are a company, feel free to reach out. We would be happy to explain the project.

To be recognized alongside other incredible women doing great things in the Sports & Entertainment spaces is something I don’t take for granted. My 20+ career has been filled with working with some of the most talented women and men who want to lift others up and support one another. When I decided to leave my job at the Vikings with a 4 ½ year and 2 ½ year twins to start my own business I would be lying if I said I knew what the future held. But I knew something…I knew that if I worked hard, relied on my relationships and surrounded myself with people that supported me I would be ok. Here we are 8 years later celebrating moments like this as a RISE Design Build Integration TEAM! I couldn’t do it with out my amazing team, the best clients and a network of supporters always encouraging me even when I have doubted myself. Meg Nohe reacted on thisMeg Nohe reacted on thisI saw this post the other day from Andreas von der Heydt and it really resonated. Starting a business is a risk at any age. But starting one in your 40s, with a family, a mortgage and everything to lose, feels a little different. When Elena I started Stronger Wellness l B Corp, we both walked away from great jobs and salaries. I remember telling my mum… Me: “Mum, we’ve decided to both quit our jobs and start a business.” Mum: “Soooo… neither of you will have a job? Or a salary?” Me: “No.” Mum: “How will you pay the mortgage?” Me: “We need to sell stuff.” Mum: “What if you don’t sell stuff?” Me: “Then we won’t be able to pay the mortgage.” I think that was the moment she realised quite how much we were risking. And then, almost immediately, Covid hit. There were moments when we came frighteningly close to losing everything. But we kept going. We worked relentlessly, backed each other, made plenty of mistakes, learnt a huge amount and somehow came out the other side. Today, we have a business we’re incredibly proud of. But one of the things I’m proudest of has nothing to do with revenue, growth or success. Our 11-year-old son has had a ringside seat through all of it. He’s seen the risk. The setbacks. The stress. The hard work. The resilience. And hopefully he’s learnt that sometimes the things worth doing require you to take a chance on yourself. And I couldn’t have chosen a better person to take that chance with. Happy Birthday, Elena ❤️ Through it all… You’re (still) the one I want by my side. 💃🏻🕺🏻 #Entrepreneurship #Business #FamilyBusiness #StrongerWellness

Meg Nohe liked thisMeg Nohe liked thisI walked close to 300 miles in August. My word of the year for 2026 is “walk”, and somehow the miles I walked last month still surprised me. Initially, I picked the word “walk” for the pace I'm committed to, not rushing through my life. But as the year unfolds, the literal meaning of walk has taken hold of my heart. I started walking every day, and it fundamentally changed my life. Now, I'm walking up to 14 miles a day on some days. I get at least five miles a day, minimum, with some days outside and others in. One of the most common questions I get asked is, “How do you have the time to walk that much?” The simple answer is, I just make the time. It's a non-negotiable for my health and mindset, so I say no to other things in order for it to be a priority. As an entrepreneur, CEO, and mom, the thought “I don't have time” could be true for me, but it's not. One of my favorite quotes is: the people who never have time and the ones who always make time have the same amount of time. MAKE THE TIME. It doesn’t have to be walking. Do what makes you happy, brings you peace, and gets you out of your head. You will transform your work and your life one step at a time.

Meg Nohe liked thisMeg Nohe liked thisTraveling for work hasn’t been great for about a decade (or more). Late flights, packed planes, and just the hassle factor of being away from home. But, one benefit of travel is seeing people you haven’t seen for a while. Today, Annie Kuenzel, PharmD and I were traveling back from Boston and our respective HQs. It was so great to catch up over our walk to the KC parking garage. Always great to have a few minutes with an amazing person and leader!!

Meg Nohe reacted on thisMeg Nohe reacted on thisYesterday started on a factory floor watching powder become a pill, then that pill get bottled, labeled, boxed. The whole line, start to finish. By afternoon we were in a different building entirely, watching a sales team rehearse explaining that same drug to a different physician types, page by page, off the sales aid we built for it. Two locations. One day. Raw material to the exact conversation a doctor will have. In between, we walked the sales team through the thinking and decisions made on this launch. Why the positioning landed where it did. How this brand fits into the larger family it belongs to, and which specific decisions prove that. What happens between "approved" and "on shelf," and what can knock that timeline sideways. Then we watched them train on it. Page breakdowns. Different customer types walked through one at a time. What to say, what not to say, when to pivot. The launch is locked. What's not locked is the brand underneath it. The hierarchy can shift, the family it belongs to can grow, the story can sharpen. That part evolves with what reps hear in the field, not with what we assumed in a deck. Everyone in the room loved the sales aid. The next scoreboard is the one with numbers on it. --- Hi, I'm Marianne Kaiser 🧶 and I run Contrary Collective® where we create launch packages for pharma brands.

Meg Nohe liked thisMeg Nohe liked thisMY NEW COMPANY & ROLE 🚨 ATTENTION ARCHITECTS, BUILDING OWNERS & DEVELOPERS: 25+ years ago, Revit changed the way we deliver buildings. Instead of separately coordinating plans, elevations, sections and schedules, we built one information model that produced coordinated outputs. While BIM coordinated the geometry, material and product information remained fragmented. It still lives across Revit, specifications, spreadsheets, PDFs, manufacturer websites, old projects, and people’s heads. What if material information worked like BIM? 🥁🥁🥁 I’m excited to announce that I’ve joined Acelab | Material Hub as Director of AECO Partnerships. Acelab has spent years building Material Hub, a Material Information Model for the built environment. One source of material information truth. Multiple coordinated outputs. ARCHITECTS: 📐 Research, compare, select and specify materials and products while building a library of material knowledge your entire firm can leverage on every future project. OWNERS & DEVELOPERS: 🏢 Capture products, specifications and standards from past projects and carry that knowledge forward to future projects and design teams. Pulling this off took years of work and an incredible team led by Vardhan Mehta Mehta, with former Revit CEO Dave Lemont Lemont as Executive Chairman. After 16 years as an architect, this is exactly the kind of problem I left the industry to help solve. If you’re an architect, owner, developer, specifier, BIM leader, or design technology leader, I’m excited to show you what we’ve built. Buckle up.

Meg Nohe reacted on thisMeg Nohe reacted on thisYesterday was my last day at Togal. I left architecture and joined Togal because I believed in a mission to solve inefficiency in construction. After a year and a half with the team and seeing it from behind the curtain, Togal was even better than I expected: the mission, the product, and especially the people. I’m grateful to the clients around the world who let me train them and to those who trusted me while evaluating Togal. You made the right call. :) I’m grateful for teammates who became friends and managers who became mentors. Thank you. 🙏🏻 And no, I’m not going to the competition. There isn’t anyone close. There’s a lot of noise, but Togal is the “fastest takeoff tool in the Milky Way”. 💚 What’s Next: I left architecture because I wanted to help solve some of the industry’s biggest inefficiencies. That mission hasn’t changed. Architects, Owners & Developers: stay tuned 👀

With cardiac care professionals managing more data than ever, how can we turn it into meaningful insights that truly supports care for patients? That question is at the heart of the latest Becker's Healthcare podcast episode, a series devoted to sharing insights and thought leadership from across the healthcare industry. In this episode our Chief Medical Officer for Philips Enterprise Informatics, Dr Sanjay Gandhi, joined Dr Jag Singh of Harvard Medical School for an inspiring discussion on how technology is reshaping cardiovascular care. Together they explored how #AI, informatics and digital tools are helping clinicians move from reactive to proactive care, strengthening decision-making and empowering patients in an increasingly connected healthcare landscape. For me, conversations like these are vital because they highlight the true promise of AI in healthcare - not in replacing clinical expertise, but in enhancing it, so clinicians can focus on what matters most: delivering better care for more people. 🎧 Listen to the full episode here: https://lnkd.in/gqKV-vfz

Apple Health announced direct lab blood testing with Quest Diagnostics for $119. Millions of Apple Watch and wearable users already capture surface telemetry daily: sleep stages, resting heart rate, HRV, VO2 max, steps. Now, Apple is bringing circulating blood chemistry directly into the consumer conversation through Quest lab integration. That expansion marks a significant step forward, but it leaves an open loop. Having lab numbers sitting in a health app or on a PDF does not equal preventative medicine. Raw biomarker data without physician oversight, longitudinal context, and actionable clinical intervention is just high tech anxiety. Knowing your fasting glucose is 104 or your ApoB is 125 changes nothing unless there is a clinical protocol attached. A person staring at isolated biomarker values on a phone screen still faces the same core problem: what comes next? Data points alone cannot evaluate longitudinal context or coordinate targeted clinical care. The human body is an intricately engineered biological masterpiece designed by God. God engineered human biology with intricate, interconnected systems. Health is an assignment of active stewardship. God gave us biological signals so we could steward our health proactively rather than waiting for disease. Active stewardship means listening to those internal signals and pairing them with clinical insight rather than waiting for symptoms. This is where Zyndio closes the loop. Zyndio launched in May 2026, and the new Zyndio app connects wearable telemetry and Apple Health lab data into a unified, physician led ecosystem. By bringing continuous sensor data together with deep biomarker chemistry, clinicians can design targeted metabolic and longevity protocols. It bridges consumer tech and clinical care into a complete ecosystem where surface tracking and blood chemistry lead directly to clinical intervention. To the founders, clinicians, and health optimizers: how do you see the gap between consumer biometrics and clinical execution?

Partnerships like this are what make innovation possible. Spineart believed in eCential Robotics’ vision early and became our very first implant partner. They didn’t simply adopt our technology—they helped shape what an open, collaborative robotics platform could become. What makes this milestone especially meaningful is the way the Spineart and eCential teams came together. Our engineering, leadership, and commercial teams across both organizations worked toward one shared goal: giving surgeons greater freedom and choice in the operating room. Being part of bringing this vision to the U.S. has been incredibly rewarding, and I am proud of everything our teams have accomplished together. Please check out the full press release below to learn more about this exciting milestone—and what comes next for Spineart and eCential Robotics.

Community drives adoption and adoption drives progress. New industry data shows general surgery and acute care continue to fuel U.S. robotic momentum, with Intuitive reporting strong utilization gains from its latest da Vinci 5 system. As health systems evaluate not just technology but the full ecosystem behind it, training, support, and efficiency are proving just as critical as innovation itself. This is how scalable medtech growth takes shape. #medtechman #medtech #innovation

I recently met a health system executive who pointed out that their lung AI tool brings up thousands of patients with nodules every month. The radiologists are not happy as many of these are false positives. The health system beyond radiology is unhappy as they want to do the best for all patients but do not have the capacity to handle the heavy load of cases. Looking forward to taking this amazing solution to clinicians. We need to identify more nodules but also identify the right nodules. Median Technologies with its eyonis (R) CADe/CADx solution brings the ability to do both - detect nodules AND characterize them by giving a malignancy score, giving you the ability to prioritise and determine the right follow up strategy.

The progress with Sol Radiology shows how AI can strengthen consistency and confidence in lung cancer screening workflows. Their team’s clinical expertise and commitment to delivering the highest standard of patient care continue to demonstrate what meaningful AI adoption looks like in real practice, not just in theory. It has been invaluable to learn from their hands-on experience and to see how collaborative innovation between physicians and technology can enhance every step of LDCT screening from detection to decision-making. Coreline Soft is excited to build on these shared insights and connect with more institutions shaping the future of lung cancer screening at RSNA. We look forward to continuing conversations with partners who believe, just as we do, that AI should elevate clinical quality, support providers, and ultimately improve outcomes for patients. #AIinHealthcare #Solradiology #CorelineSoft #LungCancerScreening #EarlyDetection #Innovation
