Racquel Harris Mason shared thisWhat separates organizations that talk about building brands from those that successfully build iconic brands and enduring, profitable, growing businesses? I recently spoke at Georgia-Pacific’s LIVING OUR BRANDS Summit, which brought together leaders from across the organization to share a principle: Great brands aren’t built by marketing—they’re built by entire organizations. This starts with clarity: know who you seek to serve, what you promise them, and why you will win with them. Then translate that strategy into specific, prioritized, measurable actions across every function. The strongest organizations understand that every function builds the brand—and that price-pack architecture is just as important as—if not more important than—advertising. R&D turns needs into products people value. Sales creates marketplace presence. Operations / Supply Chain / Manufacturing deliver products consistently and at scale. Finance ensures growth creates sustainable value. Marketing defines the promise that unites it all. Like an orchestra, the power comes when every function plays its unique role while operating from the same strategy, shared priorities, and collective accountability. “We are all stewards, entrusted for a time, for a season, with responsibility for a treasure.” Rock Jones. And what we do today with our treasure—our brands, our businesses, and our people—will shape what endures long after us. To the entire Georgia Pacific team: Go build your legacy! Thank you, Melissa Mapp Blunte and Paras Shah, for the invitation. I really enjoyed my day with you and your team. ❤️

Racquel Harris Mason shared thisLast Friday, I was honored by Progressive Grocer as their 2025 CPG Trailblazer. What a moment! This acknowledgement was so meaningful to me because it honors my very deliberate intention to create my own path that was first, right for my family and then right for my career. I was asked to share remarks with the accomplished audience of talented leaders and reflected on a few key leadership lessons: 1 - When we are afraid, especially, when we’re afraid, we must bet on ourselves. 2 - Great leadership isn’t about being the smartest person in the room, it’s about asking good questions to bring out the brilliance in others. 3 - People won’t care how much you know until they know how much you care. The surprise of the night was getting to bump into and spend time with Sandy Douglas who I was privileged to work for during my time at Coca-Cola who actually taught me point number 2 about asking good questions. What was most thrilling for me was to get the opportunity to publicly thank my wonderful husband R. Amadeus Mason and 3 adult children, Jaedon Mason Hailey Mason Chelsea Mason who all flew to Orlando to support me - they’ve been such an integral part of my journey and an important part of my “why”. And now I’d like to thank the amazing Lipton Teas and Infusions Team that I left in July, especially, those who were with me during that first eventful year, Nathalie Roos Ruben Pannevis Pierre-Andre TERISSE Bruno LAINE Karen Owen Taisa Hansen Wendela van Uchelen Gareth Mead Abhiroop Chuckarbutty Farheen Salman Amir Dedrick Harris Matt Bilbrey Sean McDermott Ali Talhouni Michael Labanara Alexander White Amy Nemeth Carol Harris Ginger Cherny, MBA Marc Holzapfel Jase Cowart and our dear partners James Sommerville OBE Julie Lawless and Noel Cottrell. Thank you for challenging me, trusting me, supporting me, and inspiring me - it was absolutely an honor to work with you. 🙏🏾 My hope for all of you is that you continue to make a fantastic impact blazing your own trails.

Racquel Harris Mason liked thisRacquel Harris Mason liked thisThis is a pretty important moment for BiomEdit. When we started the company in May 2022, one of the core strategies we committed to was testing whether we could engineer microbes to deliver biologic activity directly where it was needed in an animal. Last week, USDA CVB conditionally licensed the first product to come from that work: Clostridium Perfringens Alpha Toxin and NetB Antibody Fragment, Live Limosilactobacillus Vector — CPerf LLV, which we have referred to throughout development as BE-101. It is our first Programmable Veterinary Biologic™ and, to our knowledge, the first genetically engineered probiotic biologic licensed for use in animals. For BiomEdit, this goes beyond the licensure of an individual product. In getting here, we validated an important part of our platform thesis. We started with a scientific hypothesis, built the engineering, clinical, technical development and manufacturing capabilities around it, worked through a regulatory path with little precedent, and in a little over four years reached conditional licensure. This took an amazing BiomEdit team and a number of partners willing to work through problems that didn’t always have an obvious answer. I’m grateful to our Board and investors, to Diamond Animal Health and our other collaborators, and to the USDA CVB team for their engagement throughout the process. Conditional licensure is just the beginning. BE-101/CPerf LLV is already being evaluated in commercial production systems with major U.S. poultry producers. Those studies will tell us how the product performs at scale and help define the path from an innovative technology to something genuinely useful for producers. Racquel Harris Mason reacted on thisRacquel Harris Mason reacted on thisLast night, I had the opportunity to have dinner with a group of truly incredible people whose work spans different disciplines, but who all share a common goal: helping brands better understand, connect with, and serve the people they exist for. We talked. We learned. We shared a great meal. Most importantly, we enjoyed each other's company. It didn't take long before we started making personal connections across our different experiences and areas of expertise. It was a reminder of something that's easy to overlook in our always-connected, always-moving world: There is real value in simply sitting down and breaking bread with other people. Not every meaningful connection happens in a meeting. Not every learning opportunity comes from a webinar, conference room, podcast, or article. Sometimes the most valuable insights come from genuine conversation with people. What makes this milestone even more meaningful is that I accomplished it while working full-time as an Intake Paralegal and Administrative Assistant with the Kinship Care Project at the Atlanta Legal Aid Society. Balancing both was no small feat, and I am incredibly proud of the dedication and hard work it took to see it through! As I close this chapter, I am excited about the new horizons this degree will open and the opportunities that lie ahead! I want to thank my village, who has supported me every step of the way, I could not have done it without you! The consumer isn't changing what they love about bakery. They're changing how they discover, shop, and decide. That was one of the key messages I shared this week at the NextGen Baker Conference in Washington, D.C. Some of the strongest opportunities I see for bakery brands today: ✅ Meet consumers across more paths to purchase, not just the physical shelf ✅ Deliver clear value, beyond just price ✅ Balance comfort, indulgence, and wellness needs ✅ Use consumer insights to guide innovation, activation, and execution The bakery aisle remains one of the most exciting areas in food because it sits at the intersection of tradition and innovation. Thank you to everyone who joined the discussion. The questions and conversations afterward were a great reminder that there is tremendous opportunity ahead for brands that stay closely connected to evolving consumer needs. #Bakery #ConsumerInsights #FoodTrends #NextGenBaker

📊 PepsiCo vs Keurig Dr Pepper: Which Offers Greater Potential? PepsiCo and Keurig Dr Pepper are key players in the non-alcoholic beverage market with distinct strategies. PepsiCo’s diversified global portfolio spans snacks and beverages, delivering steady revenue and net income growth with strong profitability metrics such as a 53.09% ROE and a 14.01% EBIT margin. In contrast, Keurig Dr Pepper focuses on specialty coffee systems and beverages, showing revenue growth but declining profitability and lower returns on equity. Financially, PepsiCo exhibits stronger fundamentals and more favorable ratios, including higher dividend yield and operational efficiency despite some liquidity concerns. Keurig Dr Pepper faces challenges with weaker returns and liquidity, though it holds a B+ analyst rating slightly above PepsiCo’s B due to better valuation and capital structure scores. Strategically, PepsiCo’s broad market reach mitigates risks through diversification, while Keurig Dr Pepper’s focused beverage portfolio offers innovation in coffee technology but adds exposure to market volatility. Both stocks experienced bearish trends recently but showed recovery signs, with Keurig Dr Pepper’s rebound slightly stronger. Investors seeking stable income and solid profitability may prefer PepsiCo, whereas those open to higher risk and niche growth might consider Keurig Dr Pepper as a value opportunity. Understanding their differing profiles is essential for informed portfolio decisions. Read more: https://lnkd.in/eKyrWx72 #PEP #KDP #BeverageIndustry #InvestmentAnalysis #FinancialHealth

INDUSTRY NEWS // The K-Shaped Consumer Is Forcing a Strategic Reset in CPG A growing body of retail and consumer analysis suggests the U.S. economy is no longer moving in one direction. It’s splitting. Recent reporting indicates that higher-income households are increasing discretionary spending, particularly in premium food, wellness, and experiential categories, while lower-income consumers continue to face persistent pressure from elevated food and housing costs. Analysts describe the pattern as “K-shaped”: one segment accelerating upward, the other flattening or declining. Data cited in FoodNavigator-USA this week shows discretionary expansion concentrated among upper-income cohorts, while value-oriented shoppers remain highly price sensitive amid continued food inflation. The divide has tangible implications for consumer packaged goods companies navigating 2026 planning cycles. This divergence is not new, but it is widening. According to the OECD and recent retail earnings commentary across major grocers and mass merchants, value tiers continue to outperform in traffic among budget-constrained shoppers, while premium SKUs are maintaining — and in some cases expanding — margin contribution among affluent consumers. The result is strategic tension. Brands built exclusively around premium positioning risk narrowing their addressable market. At the same time, undifferentiated value expansion can compress margins and dilute brand equity. Portfolio architecture is becoming less about broad appeal and more about deliberate segmentation. What’s changing is how they operate. Companies increasingly must manage parallel strategies: premium innovation pipelines for consumers trading up, and value-engineered offerings for households trading down. Channel decisions are similarly bifurcated — club and mass for price-sensitive shoppers; specialty, DTC, and experiential retail for higher-income buyers seeking differentiation. The underlying economic signals remain mixed, but the structural reality is clearer: consumer resilience is uneven. Brands that build flexible pricing frameworks, layered product portfolios, and data-driven segmentation models will convert volatility into advantage. Those operating with a single consumer archetype in mind will struggle. In a K-shaped economy, growth doesn’t disappear. It concentrates. For operators, that means brand strategy and operational infrastructure can no longer be separate conversations. ⸻ Sources: FoodNavigator-USA, “How CPG Brands Can Win in a K-Shaped Economy,” Feb 2026 OECD Corporate Tax & Consumer Data Reports U.S. retailer earnings transcripts (Walmart, Target, Kroger, Q4 2025)
