Taylor Phillips shared thisLabor costs can start drifting long before they show up in a report. Demand-based scheduling helps close that gap by matching staffing to expected workload, rather than relying on last week’s schedule. For large frontline workforces, that can mean spotting overtime, coverage gaps, and unnecessary labor spend earlier, while managers still have time to adjust. That’s the kind of real-time workforce decision-making UKG is helping make possible. https://ukg.inc/4cNReAi

Taylor Phillips shared thisAI at work has largely been framed around helping people write, summarize, search, and create faster. But that’s only part of the workforce. For frontline teams, the challenge looks very different. A staffing gap, missed punch, overtime risk, certification requirement, or sudden change in demand can become an operational problem within the same shift. The value of AI in those environments comes from understanding what’s happening in real time and helping people decide what to do next. That’s the opportunity UKG is focused on with frontline AI and the Workforce Intelligence Hub: connecting signals across scheduling, time, pay, HR, and operations so organizations can act while a decision can still change the outcome. Corey Spencer, GVP and GM of AI at UKG, puts it well: frontline AI has to work within the reality of constantly changing operations, where context, trust, and human oversight matter just as much as speed. https://ukg.inc/4x6I2zlCorey Spencer, GM and GVP of AI at UKG – Interview SeriesCorey Spencer, GM and GVP of AI at UKG – Interview Series

Taylor Phillips shared thisWhen demand changes, how quickly can you adjust your workforce? That's getting harder to answer with disconnected HR, payroll, and workforce management systems. By the time the data comes together, the moment to act may have already passed. In our latest blog, UKG shares five ways enterprise operations leaders are using real-time workforce data and AI-guided insights to make faster staffing decisions, stay ahead of labor costs, and keep operations running smoothly. https://ukg.inc/4yJBOX4

Taylor Phillips shared thisThe right technology matters. But what happens after implementation can make all the difference. A new Forrester Total Economic Impact™ study found that organizations working closely with UKG realized measurable value beyond their HCM software investment, including: • $854K in net present value • $640K in productivity savings • 50% fewer support tickets Why? Because great outcomes aren't driven by technology alone. Access to experts, a strong customer community, self-service resources, and ongoing support can help teams solve challenges faster, adopt new capabilities with confidence, and get more from their UKG investment. Taylor Phillips shared thisHow current is the data you're using to make workforce decisions? In fast-moving organizations, waiting for yesterday's reports can mean missing today's opportunities. Real-time visibility into staffing, labor costs, payroll, and workforce trends helps leaders respond faster, solve problems sooner, and make more confident decisions. Taylor Phillips reacted on thisTaylor Phillips reacted on thisIced coffee at interviews has caused quite a stir, so let's explore what other things we could bring to an interview… …And let’s see what they'd say about the candidate: A banana: being unsettlingly comfortable eating a banana during an interview is a sign of confidence. Apple slices: Responsible person here. They likely packed everyone's lunch this morning. …Maybe even yours. Helpful! Full charcuterie board: you are not interviewing them, they are interviewing you. You accept this while sampling cheeses. A pot of chili: Aggressive risk taker and likely a fan of The Office. Spicy! Nature’s Valley Bar: you won't forget them because they will leave the interview room full of crumbs. Memorable! Smart! Pumpkin flavored anything: Hire immediately. Mac and cheese: Hire immediately. I’m glad we all agree. 👍🏻

As a gluten-free person, I am often anxious that my online orders might get messed up or overlooked when I select "gluten-free substitute". I was eating one of your sandwiches and was like "ugh this bread is kinda good...I'm freaked out they gave me the regular bread". I went on the website to try to see if I could figure it out...and I found the best page I've ever stumbled upon. Comparing your regular and gluten-free bread side by side with both pictures and descriptions eased my mind within 10 seconds. Thank you. https://lnkd.in/guD6fZqN xoxo

I’m a Day Maker at heart — I like helping people smile, laugh, and walk away having learned something useful. That same energy has shaped how I’ve led sales teams for more than 30 years.<br> <br>I have experience building and developing a complete sales organization — taking entry-level BDR's and marketing interns all the way through to Senior Enterprise Account Managers. I've worked with Fortune 500 brands across Pharmaceutical & Life Sciences, Defense, Automotive, Food & Beverage, Retail, and more.<br> <br>I've led large teams of SDR's, plus managers and specialists. I focused on hiring, coaching, career pathing, process design, and creating the kind of environment where people actually want to grow. I’ve also held sales leadership and operations roles, consistently building teams that hit goals and improve how work gets done.<br> <br>I believe the best sales organizations combine clear process, real coaching, and a culture that doesn’t take itself too seriously. If you’re looking for someone who can build, develop, and motivate high-performing inside sales or sales development teams — while still keeping things human — let’s connect.

Interview prep for sales and account management roles. Most candidates lose interviews in 3 predictable places: 1) Unprepared (and call it confidence) 2) Comp too early (or avoid it until it is awkward) 3) They do not close (so the interviewer assumes low interest) Here is a simple way to run it like a pro. 1) Preparation Know the job in 3 layers: - Business outcome (next 6 to 12 months) - Customer and product context (who buys and why) - Proof points (3 to 5 examples that map to the role) Build a 60 second opener: - Who you are (title plus domain) - What you sell and who you sell to - Size of business (revenue, portfolio, key accounts) - 1 to 2 wins with numbers - Why you are talking to them Bring an evidence list (not a script): - 2 quota wins - 1 retention or account growth story - 1 tough customer story - 1 cross functional win 2) Salary timing Do not lead with money. Do not hide from it. Best timing: when they ask, end of call 1, or before final interviews. Script: "I am flexible based on total package and scope. Before I give a number, can I confirm travel, territory, and how variable comp is structured?" Then ask: - What is the range for base and target bonus or commission? - How is variable comp measured and paid? - What percent of the team hits target? 3) Close the interview - Do you see any gaps in my background? - What are the next steps and timeline? - What else do you need from me to move me forward? If you want the job: "I am very interested. If you think I am a match, I would like to be considered for the next round."

One of the biggest misconceptions about professional employer organizations (#PEO)? That they're only about saving time. The reality is far more strategic. My clients who partner with Paychex PEO consistently report three major wins: 27% savings on HR costs, 16% improvement in profitability, and 14% reduction in employee turnover. That's not just operational efficiency — that's bottom-line impact. Wondering what this could mean for your business? Take a look at our quick guide to get started: https://bit.ly/4iyQCAp #PaychexPEO #BusinessGrowth #HRSolutions
