Through a grant with Utah Governor's Office of Economic Opportunity and in partnership with Davis Catalyst Center, Skill Struck created: 🔥 Semester & year-long AI Literacy courses for grades K–2, 3–5, 6–8, and 9–12 🔥 Lesson plans, plugged and unplugged student activities, and digital textbooks We are excited to be at the forefront of helping K-12 student gain the durable skills they need to make an impact in a changing world. It was a privilege to participate on the Education & AI panel at the Utah AI Summit this week. In 2019, there was great collaboration in Utah between the private and public sectors to create momentum with Computer Science education in schools. We are at a similar juncture today as we expand Computer Science education to include AI Literacy and AI skills. An emphasis on Pro-Human AI requires that students and educators be at the forefront of our minds regarding policy decisions and resource allocation. #utahaisummit #prohumanAI #ailiteracy

One of our core missions at Fireline Science is to make compelling digital learning experiences available offline and in degraded network environments. After spending a fair amount of time in K12 schools this year, it’s clear: even schools with internet often experience unreliable or insufficient connectivity. And when learning depends on a stable connection, those interruptions add up. Additionally, sometimes you want students to turn off the internet and focus. That’s why we’re building technology that works without assuming perfect connectivity. We endeavor to support learners in rural communities, disaster zones, and even secure environments where the internet isn’t allowed. If we want digital learning to be truly available for ALL, it needs to work everywhere students are, not just where broadband is reliable.
