It's the result of decades of experience, implementing proven best practices, attracting exceptional leaders, and supporting Club Boards with developing sustainable strategic plans. The foundation of our proven approach with private clubs is built upon a balanced scorecard approach, consisting of four key pillars: Member Satisfaction, Associate Satisfaction, Owner Satisfaction, and Financial Performance. By focusing on each of these key areas, Troon ensures that clubs are financially successful, deliver exceptional experiences, foster a positive work environment, and exceed owner expectations. This article in Troon's Industry Insights library explores strategies for enhancing operational excellence, while providing insightful tactics to help clubs achieve their desired results. Give this article a quick read and please reach out if you have any questions... We would be happy to learn more about your Club and discuss how Troon can assist. https://lnkd.in/gTWXFeX7

Tim Schantz shared thisThank you Maurice. Cobbs Creek is a special place and we are honored to be involved with the project. Celebrating with the Troon family, and all, Juneteenth. A day to spend with friends and family, and think about the past, and the future to come. #WeAreTroon. Happy Father’s Day, enjoy the golf this weekend.Tim Schantz shared thisCelebrating Juneteenth from a place deeply rooted in golf history. 🏌🏾♂️⛳️ As the birthplace of legendary pioneer Charlie Sifford’s career, this historic venue holds an incredible legacy. If you are ever in the Philly area, you definitely need to pull up and check it out for yourself. Happy Juneteenth from Maurice and the entire Troon family!

Tim Schantz shared thisWith the U.S. Open Championship returning to famed Shinnecock Hills Golf Club on Long Island this week, Troon Ambassadors will be among the game's elite vying for golf's third major championship of the year. Team Troon joins the fray with 2022 champion Matt Fitzpatrick, 2019 champion Gary Woodland, two-time Major Champion Justin Thomas and Alex Noren, who is currently 20th in The Official World Golf Rankings all vying for the trophy. Also headlining one of the strongest fields in golf at one of the nation's most demanding championship venues is Troon business partner Rory McIlroy, who enters the week with momentum following his Masters victory in April, as he looks to add another U.S. Open title to his résumé after capturing the championship in 2011. With the challenging conditions and rich history of Shinnecock Hills providing the backdrop, another memorable chapter in golf history is set to unfold on the shores of Long Island. Best of luck to the Troon family competing this week.

From all of us at Troon, we are proud to share this beautiful view from Kapolei Golf club, a meaningful tradition on the greens. Today, we replace our pins with the Stars and Stripes to pay tribute to those who gave everything. In memory of many, in honor of all.

Tim Schantz liked thisTim Schantz liked thisMy husband reminded me that today is a golf holiday... It’s PGA of America Thank a Golf Pro Day. Of course he knew that. 😄 So here's my official thank you to my favorite golf pro. Most people see the golf. I see the early mornings, tournaments, lessons, pace-of-play conversations, cart issues, staffing challenges, and somehow still managing to make everyone feel like they're the most important person at the club. Arizona's golf industry is a huge part of what makes our state special, and behind every great golf experience is a team making it all happen. So today, a special thank you to my favorite golf pro, Brett Trenter, and to all the PGA Professionals who make the game so much fun for the rest of us. And remember...if your drive found the water today, it probably wasn't your golf pro's fault. 😉⛳ (And yes, my hair was that short just two short years ago - ha!) We are officially part of Berkshire Hathaway’s portfolio. 🥳 "This best-in-class national homebuilder will lead our vision for a unified site-built homebuilding operation. Together, we will help more Americans achieve their dream of homeownership," said Berkshire Hathaway's Chief Executive Officer, Greg Abel. This begins an incredible new chapter, one that allows us to serve more customers, in more markets, with more choices, backed by Berkshire’s unmatched capital support and long-term investment strategy. We are more excited than ever about the future of Taylor Morrison. #ThisisTMLiving

This journey wouldn’t have been possible without a lot of people. I want to credit both CJ Snyder and Greg Anderson for putting me in a position for success. I never saw myself getting into this profession, but was mentored by 2 of the best in the business! I want to thank Troon , more specifically Stephan Schurwing & Tony Marino for giving me this incredible opportunity! I’m beyond excited to be apart of this team at Brookside and am ready for this next chapter.

Tim Schantz liked thisTim Schantz liked thisI’m excited to share that I recently joined Troon as an Accounting Manager in the customer finance department. I started on July 6, but I intentionally waited to share the news. I wanted to spend some time settling into the role, building relationships, and gaining a deeper understanding of the organization before sharing the news. In just a few short weeks, I’ve already had the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with so many incredible people across the organization. I’m especially excited to be part of an industry I’m deeply passionate about. Aligning my career with golf has been part of my long term vision all along. I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who helped make it possible. To my family, friends, mentors, and peers, thank you for your encouragement and unwavering support throughout this transition. A special thank you to my Snap Tech IT family. Thank you for believing in me and giving me the opportunity to grow both personally and professionally. The trust, mentorship, and leadership development I experienced there helped prepare me for this next chapter. I’ll always be grateful for giving me the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the company. To my EOArizona Key Executive Forum, thank you for being an incredible support system. The shared experiences, deep conversations, and friendships I built have been a major catalyst in my leadership journey. I’m thankful for each of you. I’m grateful for everyone who has been part of this journey and can’t wait to see where this next chapter leads. #Troon #Golf #Leadership #Accounting #Finance #NewJob

Tim Schantz liked thisTim Schantz liked thisTroon we are committed to making the game of golf more accessible for youth, families, and underserved communities. It was exciting to see the recent news from our friends at the National Golf Foundation highlighting the continued growth of youth participation in golf. According to NGF data, the number of on-course golfers under the age of 35 increased by 20% since 2019, with young adults representing one of the game’s largest participation sectors, and juniors serving as the fastest-growing segment in the post-pandemic era. These trends are both encouraging and timely as we celebrate Troon Family Golf Month throughout July, and bring families together through fun, learning, and shared experiences at Troon-managed facilities. Troon Family Golf Month also provides an important opportunity to raise awareness and support for the First Tee and its mission to empower young people through the game of golf. We also remain proud of our Community Swing Series, as we align with our municipal golf course partners, and transform public spaces into vibrant, multi-use recreation hubs where communities come together to enjoy golf, racquet sports, food and beverage, and more. This nationwide program at 23 municipal courses creates a welcoming entry point into the game for people of all backgrounds and experience levels. As participation continues to grow, it's more important than ever to ensure that golf remains accessible, inclusive, and community-focused. Check out this exciting program at https://lnkd.in/gUcKxPQm.

Tim Schantz liked thisTim Schantz liked thisTwenty years ago, Michelle Freeman turned unimaginable loss into a lasting gift to the world. After losing her husband Josh, she built the Joshua M. Freeman Foundation into one of the most significant arts destinations on the East Coast - bringing world-class art to Delaware and beyond. Congratulations on the recent stage opening! Coming up on Saturday, August 1st, I'll be celebrating her vision at the annual Summer Social - an evening of cocktails, live music, and dancing under the stars, all in support of continuing a remarkable mission for the transformative power of the arts! Michelle is proof of what becomes possible when someone takes an enormous risk in service of what they love. I'm honored to call her my friend, and I hope you'll join me at this celebration. https://lnkd.in/dtCAqhh7 #SpiritualCapital #FreemanArts #Delaware #artsadvocacy #legacy

Tim Schantz liked thisTim Schantz liked this"Nobody cares who builds the house," he said. "Location and price are all that matter." That's what my former COO told me over lunch eight years ago. He couldn't understand why we needed a CMO. Today, he's one of my biggest allies. He's also the person who told me our Liquid Death collab was the best homebuilding ad he'd seen in 40 years. People change. 🤓 Industries do, too. Last week, Taylor Morrison officially became part of Berkshire Hathaway. Over the next few weeks, there will be plenty written about scale, capital, strategy and what the combination means for the future of the business and the category. And rightly so, those things are important. But I keep thinking about that lunch eight years ago. Back then, I was explaining why a homebuilder should invest in brand. Today, we're joining an organization that understands the long-term value of enduring businesses, trusted brands and reputations earned over decades (not quarters). That's not the whole story behind this acquisition, but I believe it's part of it! To all of our new teammates from Clayton Properties Group joining us on this journey: Welcome! I'm looking forward to learning about your markets, your communities and the things you're most proud of. Because those stories (and the people behind them!) are what we'll build the next chapter on, together. ❤️🏠

MGM’s sudden withdrawal has left the New York casino race down to three, but far from settled. 🎰 Bally’s Bronx, Resorts World NYC, and Metropolitan Park are now the final contenders for the state’s three downstate licences following MGM’s surprise exit this week. 💸 MGM Resorts International cited shrinking returns, competition concerns, and a shorter-than-expected 15-year licence term for walking away from its $2.3 billion Empire City expansion. Its departure follows exits by Wynn Resorts and Las Vegas Sands Corp., both citing political and market uncertainty. 🏗️ The remaining bids range from $4 to $8 billion in projected costs and each face questions over financing, zoning, and construction timelines as New York’s Gaming Facility Location Board moves toward its 1 December recommendation deadline. 👉 Link to full analysis from Jess Marquez in the comments below.
