Zac Hirsch shared thisI'm extremely excited to share I've joined FurtherAI as SVP of Sales. Insurance is a $1T+ industry in the US alone and some of its most important and complex work is still incredibly manual. That’s changing fast, and a big part of what drew me to Further. Further is building the AI platform to transform how insurance companies operate across the entire lifecycle - from submissions and underwriting to policy servicing and claims. Further has processed ~$30B in premiums across 20+ lines of business and all 50 states, and is already working with world class organizations like Accelerant, MSI, Leavitt Group and Upland Capital Group. The duo of Aman Gour and Sashank Gondala is 1 of 1. Their combination of ambition, intensity, product instinct and ability to attract great people is rare. The more time I spent with them, the more convinced I became they are building something generational. I’m joining to help build the GTM organization and add to the incredible momentum already in place. Big shout-out to Tiffany Chandra for making the introduction to Aman and the team. Special thank you to Joe Schmidt IV Melissa Wasser Robby Allen and everyone else who helped throughout the process. Time to build!

Zac Hirsch shared thisAfter an incredible 6.5 year ride at Verkada and two cross country moves, I've made the decision to pursue a new opportunity. When I first moved from NYC to California with a newborn I had no idea if the move was crazy, but between the product, people and drive it felt right. Watching the company grow from an early stage startup to a $1B+ machine has been nothing short of amazing. The battles we fought through as a unit will always stand out, and I couldn't be more excited about where Verkada is going next. The real story is the people. The most rewarding part of the journey has been watching Anthony Cavallio Ardon Anderson Ian Mittleman Chris McDonough John Stamper Nick Carter Christopher Brydon Peter McVicar Jake Simonich Justine Songey and many more level up to Office Heads, Directors, VPs and CROs. To the entire Verkada team: Thank you for making the ride unforgettable. They have one of the fastest growing products in the game right now. So when I was given the opportunity to build their social and creative marketing muscle from 0-1, all I could muster was a “hell yeah.” At Ramp, our IT team became automation engineers by building Serval automations across 10 teams that now auto-resolve 50% of tickets like magic. The product is transforming enterprise and the talent behind it is bananas. Their vision drew me in because similarly to Ramp, they’re using AI to kill busywork and empower creative work. And going toe-to-toe with a monopolistic dinosaur software is fun too (I don’t wanna name names, but it starts with “Service” and it ends now 👼) I’m so stoked to help bring this brand to life with Alana O'Grady Lauk, and so grateful to Jake Stauch, Alex McLeod, Tatiana Birgisson, and the rest of the team for welcoming me aboard. A special shoutout to Rachael Andrew for her mentorship and for setting an incredible example of thoughtful leadership. I'll be cheering Cortland on from the sidelines. Growth rates followed a predictable decay curve. Expansion revenue did more of the heavy lifting as companies matured. Efficiency improved steadily as scale brought leverage. Those benchmarks weren���t wrong. They described the companies that built the last generation of great software businesses. But they don’t describe the identified “Pacesetters.” Some of the most successful AI-native companies today are reaching $100M ARR in quarters, growing 3–5x faster than the broader market and, in some cases, continuing to accelerate as they scale. More than 70% of gross new ARR is coming from new logos much further into the growth journey than historical software companies typically sustained. Some are spending ~2.3 times revenue on OpEx early on, then bringing burn multiple below 1x at scale. The ICONIQ Pacesetter Index was built to benchmark this cohort against each other, because the broader market is no longer a proper reference point. It keeps the fundamentals that still matter while adding metrics that have become newly critical in an AI-native market, including gross retention, gross margin, and burn multiple. But here’s what you might not know: >A few months ago, we hired Ariya Rastrow as our Chief Science Officer. Ariya grew the Alexa speech team at Amazon from 0 to 400 people. >Then we launched Notetaker, our first product surface beyond dictation. >Then we introduced Canto, the first in a rapid series of speech models. >All the while, we've been scaling our ML team. It's grown from 6 -> 20 people in 3 months. On the surface, these could appear as disjointed efforts. They aren't. These efforts share the ambition we started Wispr with: make voice a natural way to work with computers and, over time, reduce how often we need to reach for a device. Today, you can speak to write and capture a meeting. In the future, you say what you want to do, and the device will take it from there.
