LOVE THIS. 100% - still remember the day a couple of the product team spent a day at the factory, got back to the office and promptly did a half day code-fix to make something they experienced first hand easier for the team.
Still sad I never got to do a day like this in the old factory!
"A day in the life of" the user is very important as it helps connect all the dots later when reviewing the code and making decisions.
