I built a new plugin 🔌 You can now trigger Codex from Claude Code! Use the Codex plugin for Claude Code to delegate tasks to Codex or have Codex review your changes using your ChatGPT subscription. The Codex plugin is built on top of the Codex app server so it uses the same open-source agent harness as the rest of Codex. It means you can run multiple Codex tasks in parallel in the background, use the same models and the same Codex code review functionality! To install: /plugins marketplace add openai/codex-plugin-cc /plugins install codex@openai-codex Repo with more docs and more details below 👇

OpenAI just launched GPT-5.4 mini and nano. One thing that stands out is how quickly the old constraints are breaking. Normally you have to choose between cost, accuracy, and speed. That’s been the tradeoff with AI models. At WHOOP, we built AIQL, a custom query language for health data. For it to work, query generation needs to be fast, accurate, and cheap enough to power all of our agents’ data queries. That used to require compromise. In our internal AIQL evaluations, GPT-5.4 mini outperformed our current baseline and larger models like GPT-5.1 and GPT-4.1, stayed close to GPT-5.2, and did it with very low token usage, all without prompt changes. Increasingly, we don’t have to make that tradeoff anymore. https://lnkd.in/eRRu7j7w

Build voice agents that do real work. We built a clinic concierge demo for a Singapore health clinic with gpt-realtime-1.5. It speaks naturally with patients, collects the right details, and books appointments in real time. Build voice agents with gpt-realtime-1.5: https://lnkd.in/g4BP9Tjy

🟡 I built a 3D interactive globe mapping every OpenAI Codex Ambassador in the world 🌎 82 ambassadors. 27 countries. 5 continents. One WebGL globe. As a Codex Ambassador myself (Lima, Peru 🇵🇪), I wanted to visualize how global this community really is, from San Francisco 🌉 to Seoul 🇰🇷, Buenos Aires 🇦🇷 to Bangalore 🇮🇳, Sydney 🇦🇺 to Singapore 🇸🇬. The tech stack: - cobe (Shu Ding's 5kB WebGL globe library) - flag-icons for country flags - Vercel for deployment Features: - Auto-rotating globe with hover-to-pause - Interactive markers with tooltips (name, city, flag) - Filter by continent or country - Grid view grouped by continent, country, or timezone - Light/dark mode - Fully responsive cc: Gabriel Chua #OpenAI #Codex #WebGL #NextJS #BuildInPublic #DeveloperCommunity

We're rolling out plugins in Codex. Codex now works seamlessly out of the box with the most important tools builders already use, like GitHub, Slack, Figma, Google, and more. With plugins, Codex can now support more real work, including the planning, research, and coordination that happens before you write code and the workflows that follow. Under the hood, plugins bundle apps and skills for seamless authentication to your tools, plus built-in capabilities so Codex is instantly great at using them. Plugins are available in the Codex app, Codex CLI, and IDE extensions. 🔗 https://lnkd.in/dcFApKW5

With Codex, Ryan built @NotionHQ’s AI Voice Input feature entirely by himself. Ryan Nystrom used Codex to understand the context, point Codex to an existing mobile feature, and ship it to web and desktop while still managing a team.
