Video must be 30 or 60 seconds (TRT) or less (excluding credits).
$1,000 Award 
Funds are awarded to the submitting school.

Main message of the PSA should capture the following:  
The intent of your PSA submission is to persuade the public to take action on an environmental issue we’re facing in the State of Florida. Topics include local environmental issues that the public could help remedy. The PSA concept emphasizes student creativity and innovation, while keeping the environmental message strong and action driven. Think outside the box and use your unique voice and storytelling style to make people care enough to act. Topics can address the following issues:

Litter/Littering/Trash
Litter harms the beauty we all enjoy. Together, we can protect the Florida we love. When you leave litter behind, it doesn’t just disappear – it travels.
Tagline: "Don’t Trash our Treasure. Keep Palm Beach County Beautiful!"
Sample Idea: Waterway and ocean trash compromises the health of humans, wildlife, ecosystems, and the people and communities that depend on healthy waterways and ocean.

Recycling 
Show the wrong vs right ways to recycle side-by-side in a fun, visual way. When we recycle correctly, we save energy and reduce waste. Let’s make every toss count.
Tagline: "Recycling Done Right Keeps our Future Bright."
Sample Idea: Recycle Right – Which items to bin and which to trash.

Waste Reduction
It starts with one less bottle. One less bag. One less throwaway choice. Small actions, big impact. Together, we can reduce waste and protect Florida’s future.
Tagline: "The Power of One Less – Be the Change."
Sample Idea: Reducing single use items such as plastic straws, plastic bags, etc.

Community Greening
Planting trees helps to mitigate climate change and create a healthy, sustainable environment.
Tagline: "Growing a Greener Future Rooted in Florida."
Sample Idea: Go native! Planting Florida native plants provides shelter and food for wildlife. Native plants promote biodiversity and stewardship of our natural heritage.

SUBMISSION PROCESS:
1. Register as an applicant by clicking the Submit Your Project button below, which will direct you to the FilmFreeway platform for the SSOF. If you don't already have an account with FilmFreeway, you must create a free account to upload and submit your project.

2. Once on the FilmFreeway platform, click the  Green SUBMIT NOW Button  select your category and complete the submission process including uploading your video.
