While they may lack the individual idiosyncrasies of a single palate, their aggregate nature makes them a reliable guide to the overall quality of a particular wine. CellarTracker's user base grew rapidly from its launch in 2004. In the last few years the team has multiplied fivefold to 25 to manage this expansion.
The website (Cellartracker.com) is free to access, though the full range of features are subscription-only. A mobile app is also available.
