I have to import quite a bit of documents into SQL Developer, but for some reason it is unable to read the date on multiple columns and I have to go in and manually select the correct date format. Typically there is around 10 columns with dates in them for each document I need to import, so this can get very time consuming and would like to speed the process up a bit. This is the error message I receive "Data is not compatible with column definition or is not available for a not nullable column. A format is not specified."

Wondering if there is a way to have it be auto-selected to the correct date format. I have changed the NLS settings to the date format I want, but for some reason it does not pick that date format in the import wizard. I currently have it set to mm/dd/yyyy hh:mi:ss am, as this is how all the dates are formatted in the documents I am importing. I have also tried using mm/dd/yyyy hh12:mi:ss am, but that didnt work either. I have used Toad in the past, and it was able to auto-select the date format. Any suggestions are welcome!Error picture and import wizard
