Kristine Steuart shared thisAt it again…. Well, I’ve been at it again for a little bit! Our approach was to officially launch once we had live customers 🙂. After building a company for years to an exit, and then taking some time off and advising through VC and board roles - I learned something about myself: that I still really like to create and build, and most of all, that I like working with great people. I’ve enjoyed the work I’ve been doing this past year - defining a new product and customer experience - with amazing people I have worked with for years including T.J. Begley, Katherine Berry, Mike Squance, Amy Hockley Brunelle; investors at Inovia Capital, Panache Ventures and others; and with great early-adopter customers. How did this idea come about and why this market? There’s more on our About web page or LinkedIn post! But essentially: Customer engagement channels have had little innovation over the years - email, paid, social - are not working as they used to; They’re getting more expensive and saturated, while yielding diminishing returns. All while growing demand for more personalized engagement grows. It’s time to redefine and build a new customer experience, one that drives human connection, relationship, and business impact. SIX does just that, by unlocking an obvious way that remains largely under-utilized: equipping customer-facing teams to scale personalized customer experiences. We’ve put our $1.3m pre-seed to work quickly - with Inovia, Panache, and a few angel investors - delivering an enterprise-ready product to market and early customers who are experiencing revenue impact, and we’re looking forward to creating more from here.Kristine Steuart shared thisSIX is helping consumer brands to scale personalized customer experiences. With an enterprise-ready platform and live customers achieving results, we're excited to launch publicly.

Kristine Steuart shared thisThis has been a fun project to work on, and glad to see CEOs/Founders and exec teams using it to scale revenue engines. I am tagging a bunch of people in my network for two purposes: 1. If you'd like to use this with any exec teams you're helping or in your own teams, and 2. As a thank you - I've learned so much from so many of you, and many of you provided direct input into the REM. Thank you to advisors, colleagues: Laurie Schultz, Greg Wolfe, Norm Francis, T.J. Begley, Ryan Moon, Richard Sharp, Peter de Verteuil, Katherine Berry, Nanon de Gaspé Beaubien-Mattrick, Anthony Lee, John Stetic, Martin Angert, Kevin Swan, Michelle Malpass, Greg M., Dave Kellogg (your practical and great content - and also your footnote style ;) - is inspiration for the REM). Some of our CMO customers I learned so much from over the years on growing revenue and building brand, to name just a few: Jackie Yeaney, Elissa Fink, Robin Matlock, René Bonvanie, Sally Jenkins, Carrie Palin, Carilu Dietrich, Latané Conant (she/her), Thao Ngo 💻, Vasu Jakkal, etc. And to the revenue team at Allocadia who did great work, to name just a few: Bobbi-Jo Stonehouse, Kelly Krumreich-Benny, Samantha Bannister, Jocelyn Brown, Paula Catoira, Ryan Bull, Sam Melnick (do you like the re-purpose of the Run/Do loop?! ha), Bróna O'Connor, Geoff Brooks, Ian Harrasser, Isaac Smith, Liam Wedderburn, etc. I am for sure missing people, but I'm maxed out on how many I can tag now!:)Kristine Steuart shared thisScaling a technology business today requires a deep understanding of the link between #strategy and execution. Inovia EiR Kristine Steuart has developed The Revenue Execution Model. This framework provides a practical roadmap for executive teams to understand the interplay between strategy and execution and optimize their revenue engine for growth. Take your execution to the next level and start using the REM today. Kristine Steuart shared thisTo my BC-based network: Innovation and advancement in cancer care has never been more crucial. Sadly, already the world’s biggest health crisis, cancer rates are expected to rise by 35% in B.C. and an aging and growing population will increase the demand for services by a projected 60% over the next decade. But we aren’t powerless, rather, this is an opportunity to take action. As part of the BC Cancer Foundation Beyond Belief campaign cabinet – and in honour of close family and friends who have been affected by cancer - I am working to engage with the BC technology community to help make a difference. The Foundation has identified a critical investment to improve cancer care: purchasing a new Cyclotron to advance precision radiation therapy and research. Radiation Therapy is the backbone to most cancer treatments. BC has only one cyclotron machine for BC cancer patients, and there is an urgent need to purchase a second Cyclotron to expand care to treat more people, faster; to support improved diagnostics for earlier detection; and to conduct innovative research to improve cancer patient outcomes. Our strength in tech comes when we come together: If even 3% of our technology companies and individuals in the sector came together, we would raise over $1m towards the purchase of the Cyclotron. A big thank you to my tech sector community who have agreed to participate as the first anchors - Michelle Malpass & Greg M., Norm Francis and Pat Francis, Anthony Lee and Jennifer, Katherine Berry, Greg Wolfe, Cybele Negris, ICD.D, Peter Steele, Geoff Brooks, Amy Hockley Brunelle & Michael Brunelle, Ryan Moon, Ed Quilty, ICD.D, Jeff Sinclair, Jef Cracklen, T.J. Begley, Richard Sharp, Diana Cheng, Todd Ingledew. And a heart-felt special thank you to Samantha Bannister. And a big thank-you to the first company participants - if only 250 of BC’s 11,000 tech companies participate, we will achieve our goal! – thank you - Rival Technologies, Revenue Automation, Intiveo. As we know in the tech industry and in building something new, we have to start somewhere, thank you for your support in making the first step. cc BC Cancer Foundation, Lindsay Abbott, Andrew Chan. To learn more & participate, visit the site link. Re-posts are very welcomed! Even small referrals to a few people will amplify and enable us to reach our goal and make a difference together.

Kristine Steuart shared thisRe-post from HBR today on 'What's really holding women back?' - a good read on international women's day. For the leaders out there - some food for thought to challenge what we often hear or think are the reasons, and dig deeper into the underlying reasons for the lack of women in leadership. "We pointed out these disconnects to the firm’s leaders, challenging the work/family narrative as oversimplified and offering a broader, more-nuanced, and data-driven explanation: What really held women back was the crushing culture of overwork at the firm. The unnecessarily long hours were detrimental to everyone, we explained, but they disproportionately penalized women because, unlike men, many of them take accommodations, which exact a steep career price."

Kristine Steuart reacted on thisKristine Steuart reacted on thisOne of my first engineering jobs was a co-op, doing maintenance engineering at a paper mill. I started small, addressing non-urgent tickets. Can you improve how paper is rolled? Can you upgrade the ventilation? I'd design the solution, get feedback from the line crew, order the parts, and watch the maintenance team build it and put it in. Then one day, the main machine went down, which is critical for the entire operation. The fix required someone to crawl inside a narrow air vent to clear the blockage so the paper could flow properly. It was the end of shift and no one on the crew could fit. I looked around and offered to go in. The crew leader hesitated. He knew if it wasn't fixed, his crew would suffer through the entire next shift. I also had never done this before. I didn't even have an overall that fit. I borrowed a spare that made me look like a child dressing up for Halloween, took instructions from the crew, and crawled in. I didn't think much of it. I just liked feeling useful. Afterwards the crew leader said, "You know, we never had anyone from the maintenance engineering team crawl in there before. You're the first." I was competent enough to earn their respect, and respectful enough to earn their confidence. After that, things felt different. Less resistance to my suggestions. My projects started getting completed on time. When I think back to that time, the Halloween overall is the ugliest thing I have ever worn, and it was the best lesson I have had in how to get work done. ---------------------------------------- Post #16 This is part of a series I've been wanting to share for a while. Over 20 years of working, I kept a notebook of lines that helped me find my footing when I felt off-center. I'm sharing them in case one is worth saving for a rainy day. Thank you for following along, Jiamei Bai Stories from the heart, not an algorithm. #Leadership #PersonalGrowth #WomenInBusiness

Kristine Steuart reacted on thisKristine Steuart reacted on thisJust got back from three of the most epic days of my career. Took the team to Napa for our all company offsite. Here’s the thing about remote-first culture: you always know getting together matters. This week reminded me it’s not a nice-to-have. It’s the lifeline of the business. We came together with the intention to connect, get to know each other, Cross-team collaboration, learning and growing together, including the hard conversations that actually move us forward. Getting real clarity on the vision and mission for this rocket ship we’re building. And of course, having an epic time!! We did all of it. Times ten. 1mind trivia. Hackathons. Dancing to live music. A pickleball tournament. Incredible food, incredible scenery, and seriously, super humans. And my fav a costume night w the theme to dress up as your favorite superhuman. We had Tealium’s Truman. JFrog’s Frog. A whole lot of people dressing up as each other, including our CFO Marty Meyer and our get-shit-done, do-it-all Kirk Nankivell . The winner: Lauren Winn dressed as 1mind itself. Journey t-shirt, a giant brain head, and every competitor locked up in a box cage!!! Brilliant And my favorite part of every one of these get-togethers: everyone gets a team jersey with their employee number on it. Something about seeing that number on your back never gets old. Pinch me. Grateful! Humbled! Fired up!

Kristine Steuart liked thisKristine Steuart liked thisIt's been a fast and furious five months of having fun building Toyo, and today we're finally opening the doors to everyone. We got hooked on this space late last November, when it first became possible for AI agents to genuinely help you run your business. We became obsessed with the idea of an all-encompassing agent; one that understands you, your business, and your software, and works with you in a way that feels personal... over iMessage and phone calls. So many entrepreneurs run their businesses without a computer in front of them all day. For them, being able to fire off a text or take a call and have Toyo handle things is a game changer. Personally, I have connected my Toyo to our Notion and Linear accounts and then use Toyo to help brief and prep me for meetings, and handle all my communication. I love having it call me to go over a long email when I'm tired of reading, and having it automatically research every attendee for external meetings is super handy too. Really proud of what we've built here. Automation is King! 🚀 You don’t need more hours in your day - you need automation. From onboarding emails and follow-ups to social scheduling and abandoned cart messaging, automation allows your marketing to work even when you’re not. One Toronto café reduced manual workload by 12 hours per week simply by automating communication touchpoints. It’s not about being robotic - it’s about being reliable, consistent, and scalable.
