Lewissa Stewart shared thisHey! 👋 Are you a marketer planning for the busiest shopping season? Sept 1st signals to me a new chance to network, collaborate, and bring visions from the planner into reality. If that's you too then, hello! I see you! If it's been a while, let me re-introduce myself. My days are spent partnering with brands to turn that vision into an experience across retail, activations, and direct marketing, helping campaigns show up with consistency from coast to coast. Right now, there's real value in a Canadian partner who can execute at scale. In a country so rich with culture and diversity, I'm proud to support brands that want to bring local marketing to every community. If you're in trade marketing, integrated marketing, or brand activation, and you're heading into planning season, I'd love to hear what's on your radar 📝 📸cred: Amanda Shear

Lewissa Stewart shared thisIt's never just a single moment. How can brands authentically show up in cultural movements with more than just a sponsorship logo? This was the conversation at the Canadian Marketing Association event that had me sipping coffee in Canada's largest sports bar yesterday morning. The talks reminded of the strong return when partnering with athletes, promoting storytelling and community building from a local to national scale. And who's not a fan of that! With Toronto taking part in FIFA, the rise of women's professional sports, and athletes preparing for the LA Olympics, big brands shared insight on their playbook to amplify the stories behind these cultural moments. Miix Analytics Inc. informed of a 28% YOY increase in brand sponsorship within sports. Jennifer Bairos Hofer said it well, "Show up early, build a story". Echoed by Matthew Dicker, "Don’t just sponsor a moment, build a platform around it." Thank you CMA for hosting another great conversation, turning this often bandwagon fan into a more informed advocate!

Lewissa Stewart shared thisWhich rewards are earning your brand loyalty❓ A thoughtful summary from yesterday's Loyalty and Rewards Forum 2026 conference, from an OG in customer loyalty! With up to 15 loyalty programs in our "wallet", the stand-out message is that it's increasingly crucial to deliver recognition with acute precision and a highly personalized experience, putting data at the start of every strategy and automation in the execution. Shoppers are increasingly seeking the best value, but decisions are closely followed by how brands make them feel. Beyond discounts, things like community, rituals, and shared beliefs create an emotional bond and habitual purchasing. 💡 Takeaway from the day, as retailers prepare for the new reality of agentic commerce, the future of reward programs is to be personal and proactive #personalization #loyaltyandrewards2026 #directmarketingLewissa Stewart shared thisIt was great to attend and be a guest speaker and roundtable contributor at yesterday’s highly engaging and thought-provoking Loyalty & Rewards Forum 2026 conference in downtown Toronto. 🎤✨ 🔹 Jan Kestle 🤖📊 discussed how advances in data, analytics, and AI are reshaping loyalty highlighting the importance of segmentation, governance, and turning insight into measurable business outcomes. 🔹 Candice Troupe🛍️🔗 shared how Scene+ is evolving into a curated, everyday ecosystem connecting high-frequency needs with aspirational rewards to combat loyalty fatigue and drive engagement and member "Joy". 🔹 Jacob Pullia📱💡 outlined TELUS’ loyalty strategy focusing on embedding value across the full customer experience to meet the expectations of digitally enabled, price-sensitive consumers with a clever loyalty scheme and new partnerships with the likes of WestJet. 🔹 Shawn Stewart🔄🇨🇦, in a fireside chat with Aaron Dauphinee, CLMP™ 🔥💬, reflected on the evolution of Air Miles and the transition toward Blue Rewards exploring challenges, opportunities, and the future direction of loyalty in Canada. The future seems bright with his plans for Blue Rewards. 🔹 Uwe Stueckmann🤖🛒 explored the impact of AI-driven, agentic commerce illustrating how the path to purchase is shifting and what this means for retail loyalty strategies. He made some bold predictions that loyalty marketers need to take seriously as the way we shop will be changing. 🔹 Richard Schenker❤️🎯 challenged the over reliance on transactional loyalty (discounting) as he shared the science behind how customers make choices about brands they wish to do business with. He impressed upon the audience the need to embed purposeful "emotional loyalty" levers into the brand experience and gave inspirational examples of brands who do this effectively today. 🔹 Aaron Dauphinee, CLMP™📊🔍 examined the gap between membership and true loyalty sharing research on behavioural segments, retention drivers, and why most consumers remain highly switchable. 🔹 Jean-Pierre Lacroix, R.G.D. 🎨⚡ presented the ThinkBlink Manifesto showing how brands can blend data, AI, and emotional design to create meaningful, memorable customer experiences. 🔹 Stephen Shaw🎙️🧠 hosted a closing roundtable with Richard Schenker, Uwe Stueckmann, and Jean-Pierre Lacroix, R.G.D. sparking debate and audience participation around key questions: • What should we stop overvaluing in loyalty today? • How can currency-based programs deliver greater customer value? • How do organizations better align around customer loyalty? • What will loyalty look like in five years—evolution or reinvention? An energizing close to a day filled with rich discussion and strong participant–speaker interaction. 🚀 Thanks goes out to the conference organizer Steve Lloyd and the conference host Stephen Shaw. #CustomerLoyalty #AI #CustomerExperience #BrandStrategy #DataDriven #Personalization #ThoughtLeadership #EmotionalLoyalty #Partnerships #AgenticCommerce

Lewissa Stewart shared thisThis past year I pledged to learn by doing, seek constructive guidance, and make like-minded connections. Toastmasters District 60 was exactly the place for all of it. Im grateful to this group who gave me confidence while I experimented with speaking styles and leaned into personal stories. Applauding encouragement and offering honest feedback at each step. Helping me make it to my first speaking competition! What comes easily to some might take practice for others. But I’ve stopped comparing the steps and just stay focused on the goal. Watching my peers find their own voice was equally inspiring, and motivated me to take the role of Club Membership, passing that encouragement along to newcomers. Your story is your superpower 🦸♀️ It creates opportunity not just to impress but connect. When you find your voice, you never know who you might inspire! Huge thank you Yukta Hans Steven Tshakatumba Ryan Sneyd Sushil Megharaj Jacqueline Sublett, P.Eng Miguel Alves, CPA Zoë Hughes Allen James Rogelio Alejandro Zárate Ramos Andrew Varden Brian Fernandes Anna Kravchenko..and honestly many more 💛 Appreciate you!

Lewissa Stewart shared this"Measurable impact comes when sustainability becomes a core business strategy" This was a key takeaway from the #RCCRetailSustainability conference, where I was able to represent DCM and listen to global brands reinforce collaboration on sustainability in their supply chain. Our team proudly promoted the latest milestone on DCM's sustainability journey - reforesting 3 million trees on behalf of our clients through our partnership with PrintReleaf! Making ESG more attainable for retailers and manufacturing, client-level data gives confidence to brands that want to include individual efforts in their own sustainability reporting. DCM is doing it's part in setting the bar for sustainable print and communications. #RCCEvents #RetailInnovation #SustainableSolutions #Retail #CPG #ESG

Lewissa Stewart shared thisToday is my birthday, yes I'm here celebrating it on LinkedIn, and yes it makes me cringe a little too. But... here’s more about the person behind the pic. My motto right now: you don't have to be fearless, you just have to be willing. I’d taken a couple steps back to prepare for a leap forward. Some planned, others not. Caring for family, caring for myself, braving new challenges in my career. Figuring out what matters. So what have I been up to? 🎤 Facing fears of the spotlight with Toastmasters District 60, exploring storytelling and leadership training, now supporting member experience for our rapidly growing club! 📖 Continuing my education on Marketing in Canada, through the Canadian Marketing Association, learning about the increasing diversity in our country and importance of personalization. ✍ Exploring my personal brand and asking, what do I want to be remembered for? Because if we don't shape our narrative, someone else will. Something most people don't know: I’m also sister to a sibling with special needs, whom I loving refer to as my forever 13 year old. She bravely endured open heart surgery at 27, and came out the other side with a new lease on life! Her highly specialized care is a team effort. My side hustle is making sure she gets the best possible life experience. Whether battling health issues or caring for someone who does, it teaches the importance of compassion and embracing every joyful moment. I’ve taken pride in being a “Yes” person and see where it leads me, and with gratitude it’s taken me some pretty amazing places. But this year is about something new. Staying curious but lead with experience, Embracing authenticity and storytelling, And facing fears, because the thing you’re scared of might be the thing that changes your life! 📸 Amanda Shear thanks for the new shots!

Lewissa Stewart liked thisLewissa Stewart liked thisI tell CMOs we specialize in regulated industries, and they picture cannabis and iGaming. Which… true. But you'd be surprised by our other clients too: • A granola brand marketed to parents of kids with allergies • 3 pet food brands built from scratch • A D2C health testing kit going mainstream Folks, “regulated” isn't the same as “vice.” It just means the category has rules around what you can claim, who you can target, and how your creative needs to be built. Pet food is regulated. Kids' nutrition products are regulated. Organic food is regulated. D2C health is *super* regulated and getting more so as these brands scale into mainstream retail. But when you know the compliance rules like we do, none of those constraints are problems for scaling through paid media. Because the alternative is organic and owned, and you've probably already maxed those audiences out. If you're in a regulated industry, you actually have more options in paid than you think. I'll show you! I'm opening 3 slots through next week for our Channel Opportunity Strategy Session. Totally free, no pitch. Connect and DM me "CHANNELS" here → Katie Waterman
