My grandmom would call me a word that sounded like ishguade, when she would say it. I would always ask her what it means and she would say “loud mouth!” She was Calabrese if that matters. Obviously, the spelling is wrong because I’m just sounding it out, but does anyone know what the word could be? She would also say Mangia La Modena when she was angry, which is think means damn the blessed mother, but not sure.

The second one should be “Mannaggia la madonna!”, which is a bit blasphemous towards the Virgin Mary, as you've guessed. I hope someone cracks the first one. Commented Nov 13 at 8:57
