Fifth Cosmos

Moridun in the Fifth Cosmos, where magic originated
"Fifth Cosmos" is the denomination given to the fifth iteration of existence and fourth Multiverse. It is a defunct Multiverse that no longer exists. It came after the end of the Fourth Cosmos.[1]
The Fifth Cosmos was the origin of magic and sorcery.[1][2] Magic was less refined compared to later Multiverses but not less powerful.[2] All fires there were secret, making it a dark cosmos of deep magic, taken by an eternal night.[3][2] There were magical, carnivorous worm-like creatures whose blood could be used as portals.[2]
As part of the renewal cycle, after the Fifth Cosmos ended, it was replaced by the Sixth Cosmos.[4][1] One of its inhabitants, Moridun, the Sorcerer Supreme, survived the end of time and became Omnimax, the Devourer of Worlds, in the next cycle.[5]
- Former Inhabitants
- Celestials[4][6]
- The Celestials are from the First Cosmos. They started the multiversal cycles and have passed on to every incarnation.[4][6] They are also involved in the creation process at the start of each cycle.[7]
- Moridun[3][2]
- Moridun passed on to the Sixth Cosmos as Omnimax.[5]
