Logo for all international Stack Overflow sites (Russian, Portugues, Spanish, Japanese) was changed recently and that looks like the site name is changed as well but actually not. I show you example for SO on Russian but I think it's relevant for all international sites aforementioned.

New logo can be read as "Stack Overflow: Русский" but the tooltip has "Stack Overflow на русском" and the same old name is used on the site list menu:

Previously the logo was like this:

Note the difference:

Old New
на русском Русский
in Russian (language) Russian (can be related to people, language, culture, whatever)

I think that the logo should reflect the site name and recommend to change it accordingly.

Just want to add that the Japanese SO uses the correct word 日本語 ("in Japanese Language"), though the tooltip is showing the name of Stack Overflow in Japanese. Commented Feb 25 at 6:13
  • I suggest to fix the identity. Commented Feb 25 at 23:20
