I keep overlooking the difference between one answer and the next, and even between the question and its first answer. This isn't surprising, given the decreased horizontal movement (e.g, indentation), font sizes, and background shades of the new design. To digest a question and its answers now requires more attention because critical context changes are harder to spot. It's particularly egregious when the comment thread line appears to "point" to the following answer, which has no comments but is followed by a third answer. The comment thread actually has no relationship to the second answer, and the third answer isn't (usually) a reply to the second answer.
Could the start of a new answer be more clearly marked (e.g, with more than one line of white space, a line, or a prominent UI element)?
