Allison DeVane shared thisa day in the life, so proudAllison DeVane shared thisOUR FOOD STYLIST BACKED OUT 17 HOURS BEFORE OUR SHOOT. 17 products. 70 shots. One very ambitious shoot day. After a month of planning, the sets were prepped, the shot list was locked, and we were expecting our styled food and props to arrive that afternoon. Instead, we got an email. If you’ve ever produced a shoot at a small brand, you know hiring a food stylist is a luxury. We use one sparingly, but this shoot was VERY baked-goods heavy. There was no realistic way to replace one on 17 hours' notice. So, we pushed the shoot by a week, the absolute latest our wholesale marketing calendar would allow, and decided to do it ourselves. And the team pulled it off. 17 products. 70 shots. Pies, cocktails, matcha, coffee, 4 months of seasonal chaos and everything in between. Huge kudos to the TEASPRESSA marketing team Carina S.am Carina S., Caedmon Voigt and especially Alexandria Burkfield for leading the charge. Caedman even spent her last day at Teaspressa with a casual 12-hour day on set. One of my favorite things about building a small brand is seeing what happens when the polished plan disappears and the team just figures it out. Here’s a peek at the first two collections we shot: Halloween + Fall Pie, coming to a retailer near you. 🎃🥧 Photography by Jim Heesterman & David Smith.

Allison DeVane shared thisSo proud of you, only way from here is upAllison DeVane shared thisFive years ago, Kyle Moy and I started Fichi Fig & Nut Bites out of a small commercial kitchen space in Westchester. Today, we rang the opening bell at Nasdaq with Inc. Magazine to celebrate Fichi ranking as the #1 fastest-growing Food & Beverage company on the 2026 Inc. 5000 - and #88 Overall. What makes this particularly special is where I was when we got the news. The story of our brand goes back to when I was a kid, and my Aunt Vincenzina would send me her delicious fig and nut bites from Italy. I always loved them, and I knew that others would too, so in 2021 we set out to do something about it. Our simple bites were inspired by her, and I was sitting in her kitchen in Lungro when I found this news out last week - with fresh figs on the table, of course. Although she is no longer with us, I still felt her that day, and I am forever grateful. Thank you to everyone who helped us get here. We're just getting started. #inc5000 #cpg #snacks

Allison DeVane reposted thisAllison DeVane reposted thisLast week, I had the good fortune to join the Executive Voices Roundtable at the Axios AI+ Summit in Washington, DC to discuss how AI can be a force multiplier for small and mid-sized businesses. AI can open new doors for entrepreneurs — from reaching customers in smarter ways to unlocking insights that drive growth — but it only works when innovation is paired with trust. That’s why fairness, accountability, and transparency are central to Intuit's Responsible AI practices. These principles guide how we design and deliver AI-powered experiences across our platform, so small businesses can innovate with confidence. It was inspiring to share the conversation with my colleague Tyler Cozzens and Intuit small business customer Allison DeVane, and to see Anoop Sreenivasan representing Intuit on the MainStage.

Allison DeVane reposted thisAllison DeVane reposted thisAmerica's small businesses are digital-first and the current payments system isn’t set up to meet their needs. So for National Small Business Week, the Intuit Small Business Council flew to Washington with a simple message: To better support small businesses and foster greater economic competition, policymakers must embrace payments modernization which would reduce costs, increase efficiency, and foster innovation for America’s small businesses. Our Small Business Council members are the most inspiring group of people. It has been such a pleasure getting to know them and learn from their experiences. Thank you for what you do! Allison DeVane reposted thisAllison DeVane reposted thisYesterday morning, we hosted the inaugural Tory Burch Foundation Founders Breakfast in New York City. In a room full of business leaders, supporters and Tory Burch Fellows, our founder Tory Burch and Foundation President Tiffany Dufu announced our five-year goal of supporting extraordinary women entrepreneurs to add $1 billion to the economy by 2030. The Founders Breakfast also highlighted the achievements of three incredible #ToryBurchFellows. Congratulations to El Guapo founder Christa Cotton, Partake Foods founder Denise Woodard and AmorSui founder Beau Wangtrakuldee, PhD, recipients of the 2025 Tory Burch Foundation Founder Award. The honor recognizes women entrepreneurs from our programs for their vision, adaptability and dedication to community. Continuing her commitment to highlighting women overlooked in history, Tory honored Maggie Lena Walker with the Posthumous Founders Award. Walker opened the St. Luke Penny Savings Bank in Richmond, Virginia in 1903, becoming the first woman to open a bank in the United States. It was the longest operating Black-owned bank until its sale in 2005. Walker’s great-great-granddaughter Liza Mickens accepted the award on her ancestor’s behalf. Tory then presented Martha Stewart with the Iconic Founder Award. The two sat down for a wide-ranging fireside chat that covered innovation, legacy building and even extraterrestrial gardening. Stewart, who was impressed by our Fellows, shared one of her guiding principles with the entrepreneurs in the room and the other guests: “Don't be afraid to take steps in a direction that seems unlikely, but might be good.”

Allison DeVane liked thisAllison DeVane liked thisClaude can run entire e-commerce departments now. I just pulled a year of AI data from the 500 top brands, to show what they're actually doing with Claude. Here are the prompts, automations and agents👇 Built with Polar MCP For Claude. 1. Automating their reporting Executives are getting holistic performance briefs delivered to slack, teams or gmail every morning. Agencies are creating reports on autopilot. We even have brands syncing their KPIs to Google Sheets daily. 2. Getting live pulses on their revenue Hourly revenue trackers across all sales channels. Especially useful during launch days and new product launches. One brand ran this 10,000+ times across the last 11 days. 3. Measuring marketing performance A few prompts I liked: "Can I scale Meta spend while holding ROAS?" "Make a top 20 list of ads ranked by new customer CAC and 90-day LTV. Compare platform vs. first-party attribution." 4. Website funnel and conversion rate Full website behavior from session to add to cart to checkout, grouped by: landing page, country, pages. One brand unlocked key insights by identifying missing payment methods in Italy and Spain. 5 Data QA Yes Claude is fancy, but you still need to QA your data. Prompts like "is my GA4 matching Shopify?" "Is Facebook reporting the right level of conversions?". Some have agents that trigger other agents to fact-check before the report goes out. 6. Retention deep-dive Brands are analyzing their cohort and measuring their acquisition channel by LTV. Looking at churned subscribers to build a win-back campaign. Defining the maximum CAC they can afford while maintaining a 3x ratio. 7. Customer experience and operations teams Mining their support tickets for product issues. Some are even building FAQ pages from those topics or feeding reviews and NPS into creative briefs. Ops teams are looking at why brands are returning and then looking at which orders are stuck. 8. Finance. Yes even the finance team is on Claude. The types of prompts here are: Building a P&L and going through the waterfall, looking at GMV across channels, measuring discounts, measuring contribution margin, understanding the product catalog (which SKUs actually drive profit versus just sales volume). + 11 more categories in the report. Why do I share all of this? Yesterday I was chatting with the head of partnership at one of the biggest AI labs. He asked me the question: "What do you think is missing today in the LLM technology?" Here's what I told him: The gap is not the technology, but the imagination. Most teams are only doing 1% of what's possible. So I have compiled all of these, with the exact prompts and 11 more categories in a PDF report. Hope this helps you see what's possible and get you started moving towards an AI-first operating system. 👉 Let me know in the comments what use case you're most interested in, and I will send you the full deck.

Allison DeVane liked thisAllison DeVane liked thisThis made my week! Silk or Lace got written up in Forbes!! The article is about founders who built the thing they wish existed because they needed it themselves because oh yea, that's our whole origin story. I started losing my hair at 23, went down a rabbit hole trying to find something that actually worked, and ended up finding a whole community of women going through the same thing. That community is still the heart of everything we do. I love that the article ties it back to Madam C.J. Walker and talks about other founders doing the same thing, which is women turning their hardest experiences into things or services that help other women. A huge thank you to Paula de la Cruz for telling our story from a unique lens and for Holly Mitton being our advocate in spreading the news! https://lnkd.in/ggfXgQgeHow Women Are Turning Personal Health Struggles Into BusinessesHow Women Are Turning Personal Health Struggles Into Businesses

Allison DeVane liked thisAllison DeVane liked thisWe recently brought Intuit's senior leadership team together for our annual Leadership Conference with a clear focus on the year ahead: scale what is working and accelerate our growth. Our Big Bets — Assisted Tax, Money and Mid-Market — now represent roughly 30% of Intuit’s revenue growing over 30% in FY26. Our opportunity is to scale this momentum while accelerating new customer growth across our businesses. We spent our time pressure-testing our plans, getting specific about where we invest, the products and experiences we need to deliver, and how we reach and serve more customers. Fueling that growth is our financial system of intelligence for consumers, businesses and accountants, bringing together our domain-specific AI, rich data and deep financial expertise. It automates more workflows, turns intelligence into action, and increasingly does the work for our customers, helping them make better decisions and achieve better outcomes. And we grounded all of it with customers in the room. We heard directly from consumers, solopreneurs, small and mid-market businesses, and accountants about the problems they are trying to solve and where we can create even more value. I left energized by the focus across our leadership team. We are aligned on the priorities, deep in the details, and clear on what we need to deliver. Our teams are focused on execution: scaling our Big Bets, bringing more new customers into the franchise, and using our financial system of intelligence to power their prosperity.

Let’s set up a call so I can understand your needs/situation and discuss how I can help you! Recent client success story: “Working with Nicki was the turning point in my job search. After 14 years with one company, I suddenly found myself navigating a market flooded with layoffs and a lot of competition. I had worked with three other firms before finding her. The difference was immediate. Her suggestions were built around me specifically, not pulled from a template. The moment I applied her suggested edits to my own LinkedIn profile and saw how differently my experience read, I knew she actually understood my background and what I brought to any organization. Her premier package covered everything: a full resume redraft, specific language and positioning changes she guided me to make directly to my own LinkedIn profile, role targeting strategy, interview prep, and introductions to her recruiter network. She also pushed back hard on my over-reliance on AI in the search process. She was right and adjusting that approach made a real difference. Within days of implementing her suggestions, I was hearing from recruiters regularly. Six weeks later, I accepted a role at a Fortune 500 company, exactly what I had been looking for. Nicki is the right person. I would work with her again without hesitation.” #careercoach #resumewriter #resumewriting #jobseeker
