The research highlights the interplay between atmospheric plasma discharges, organic particulates, and self-organizing fractal patterns that defy conventional biological and physical categorizations. By integrating spectroscopic, computational, and ecological methodologies, the study unveils the implications of these entities on marine ecosystems, atmospheric chemistry, and their potential applications in renewable energy and environmental monitoring. These findings not only expand the understanding of plasma-organic systems but also hint at their broader significance in biological adaptation and technological innovation. 👽 😇Accelerated Fractal Morphogenesis of Levitating Plasma-Organic Plankton (2025)Accelerated Fractal Morphogenesis of Levitating Plasma-Organic Plankton (2025)

Pavel Cherkashin shared thisDynamic sensing in digital Radiography and MRI allows to collect behavioral data and build models of a human body for better diagnosis and holistic treatment. I believe in such technologies and want to invest in them with primary focus on anonymity of user data, so that such behavioral models could be freely available to collective intelligence - both human and artificial.Pavel Cherkashin shared thisMoving X-Rays are a game-changer Instead of a static picture, Dynamic Digital Radiography (DDR) allows you to observe X-Rays like movies. DDR can capture up to 20 seconds of movement in a single exam. The resulting images can be played back in fast or slow motion, or one frame at a time. DDR can be used to examine many parts of the body, including the chest, spine, shoulder, wrist, ankle, and knee. This is a game-changer. For example, orthopedists can analyze the dynamic relationship between bones and soft tissue through the full range of motion. Having a full view of the musculoskeletal system in motion in weight-bearing or resting positions helps orthopedic specialists provide faster and more detailed diagnoses to improve the quality of care. What else do you think this new technology could solve? Here, innovation meets practical application, empowering us to lead and adapt in an ever-evolving technological landscape. Free will could be found on neuron level in complex relationship of neurons and astrocytes. It is a dynamic phenomenon, like running. We can't discover the joy of running being a static object on a sofa, as we can't find free will in individual states of neurons. 🙃

Building upon the foundations laid by LLMs, LCMs leap forward in AI's ability to understand and generate human-like text. Here's how LCMs work: 1️⃣ Conceptual Processing LCMs encode sentences as unique "concepts," enabling high-level reasoning and contextual understanding. 2️⃣ SONAR Embeddings These embeddings capture the semantic essence of a sentence, transcending word-level processing. 3️⃣ Diffusion Techniques LCMs use diffusion methods to stabilize outputs, leading to consistent and reliable results. 4️⃣ Quantization Methods Quantization techniques enhance robustness and reduce errors from minor perturbations. 5️⃣ Multimodal Integration LCMs support multiple modalities, including text and speech, facilitating cross-lingual comprehension. Whether you're generating detailed reports or engaging in complex reasoning, LCMs elevate AI capabilities, offering deeper understanding and more structured outputs. Here's how LCMs are architecturally different from LLMs: LLMs: - Operate at the token level, predicting the next word or subword in a sequence. - Utilize transformer-based architectures for sequential token prediction. - May struggle with maintaining long-range coherence in text generation. LCMs: - Process input at the sentence or concept level, capturing broader semantic meaning. - Use SONAR embeddings to map sentences into a language-agnostic semantic space. - Excel in hierarchical reasoning and abstraction, enabling high-level reasoning and contextual understanding. Understanding these distinctions is essential for selecting the appropriate model for specific applications, ensuring more effective and contextually appropriate AI interactions. LCMs aren't just more advanced; they're more insightful: ✅ Process entire sentences as unified concepts. ✅ Grasp context and nuance beyond individual words. ✅ Generate coherent and contextually relevant outputs. LCMs is essential. They save time, boost productivity, and create a more natural flow in AI-human interactions. Over to you: What tasks do you think would benefit the most for LCMs?

What does this tell us? LinkedIn is a lovely bubble of self-proclaimed "experts" who declare "death" to everything from Search, to Powerpoint etc. and the holy grail - the ChatGPT and other GenAI is here to save us all ... when you buy their "promt engineering courses". So what do we learn from that? GenAI is not really cannibalising search traffic, the numbers just don't support that narrative. Also other ".... is dying" is just a useless clickbait. Do your own research and stay critical. What do you think about all this?

Pavel Cherkashin liked thisPavel Cherkashin liked thisWhy I stopped working with my husband Dmitry Would you start a business with your spouse? Dmitry and I did. For years, we built a business together. We started as co-founders, making big decisions, growing a company from scratch, and navigating all the chaos that comes with it. But at some point, we realized something had to change. At first, it was exciting - working with your spouse means you completely trust your business partner. But then COVID hit, and everything changed. LinguaTrip’s revenue dropped to almost zero within days, and we realized how unstable everything was. It wasn’t just about us — we had Emily, our little daughter, and that kind of responsibility changes everything. That’s when it became clear: we couldn’t afford to put all our eggs in one basket. At the same time, my YouTube channel was turning into its own business. It made sense for me to focus on that while Dmitry explored his own projects alongside with managing Linguatrip. But this wasn’t just about diversifying income or avoiding burnout. It was something much more personal. Dmitry put it best when he said: "When your lives are 100% intertwined - same business, same challenges, same network - it becomes hard to surprise or inspire each other. You stop having space to grow as individuals." And he was right. The real issue was stability and keeping the ability to surprise each other. We needed different challenges and experiences to bring something new to our relationship. We started losing what made us a couple. Here’s what we learned about mixing family and business: 🔹 Define clear roles – If both of you make every decision together, work discussions will never end. 🔹 Respect personal time – Talking about work over dinner every night is NOT a healthy habit. 🔹 Create separate growth paths – Working on different projects can bring more inspiration into the relationship. Today, we still support each other’s work, but from a different perspective. Dmitry has his own projects, and I have mine. And honestly? It made our relationship even stronger. Would I work with my husband again? Maybe. But I’d do it differently. Here’s a photo from our time working together - back when we were not just partners in life, but in business too. Still, my dream team! P.S. Can't believe this photo is 10 years old!

Pavel Cherkashin liked thisPavel Cherkashin liked this1000 AI bots create their own society 🏘️🌍👯 The company Altera tried an interesting experiment based on novel AI agent interactions in virtual environments (in this case Minecraft). And they created their own society, economy and even democracy by letting them do whatever they wanted. They even invented security, bribery, economics, and many other topics from scratch. It is an amazing experiment and fascinating. But the question for me would be: - What kind of "pre-training" went into them and the training data? - Were they trained on our "values"? - Were they completely "free"? - Was it really "random"? Still, it was a great experiment I think? You agree?
