Charles Miglietti shared thisMost people think AI is making the PM role easier. I think it's making it harder. Not because of the tools, those are genuinely useful. Because of what happens when engineering ships twice as fast and product thinking doesn't keep up. That's the conversation our CPO Adrien Deyhim had last week with Anand Inamdar (CEO at Olvy (by Amoeboids)). 50 minutes on what actually changes when you hand a PM the right AI tools. Five things stood out: → Feedback analysis at scale, with no research team → Working prototypes before the first stakeholder meeting → Specs that live inside the codebase, not a Confluence page → Micro-fixes that aren't worth a ticket anymore → And the hardest one: knowing when to push back on the AI The uncomfortable part that nobody is saying out loud: the feature factory risk is higher now than before AI, not lower. When development gets cheaper, the pressure to say yes to everything goes up. The teams that will win are the ones that ship fewer things better. Not more things faster. I wrote a longer piece on this for the Toucan blog. Link in the first comment. #ProductManagement #SaaS #ISV #EmbeddedAnalytics #AIThe PM role is not getting automated.

Charles Miglietti liked thisCharles Miglietti liked thisLa semaine dernière, Toucan a lancé Toucan AI Crew.

Connect your assistant to the Toucan MCP server, and it can query your data, pick the right chart, and return it inside the conversation. Your agent stays in charge. Toucan handles the data, the security, and the visualization. An example: 🔹 Your customer types "show me revenue by region this quarter." 🔹Your assistant replies with a bar chart, pulled live, scoped to their tenant, governed by your semantic layer. ✅ Your AI assistant just got a data brain. Charles Miglietti liked thisCharles Miglietti liked thisAnthropic published a blog post stating that they automate 95% of their internal analytics queries with Claude, at 95% accuracy. Two lessons stood out: 🎯 The semantic layer does the heavy lifting. The hard part isn't writing SQL, but mapping a fuzzy question ("revenue for product X") to the right table among dozens of candidates. A governed semantic layer collapses that ambiguity into one source of truth. ✍️ Humans own the definitions. They tried letting an LLM auto-generate metric definitions, and it backfired, baking in the exact ambiguities they wanted gone. The takeaway: let Claude write the docs, but keep a human on the definition. 🔗 Worth a read: https://lnkd.in/e5tw4YgU ⚠️ One caveat: this is all about exposing data internally. Doing the same for your customers — people with zero context and zero tolerance for a wrong number — raises the security and governance bar dramatically. Which is exactly the problem we solve at Toucan 👉 https://ai.toucantoco.com 🚀 🦜AI-Powered Embedded Analytics Platform | Toucan AIAI-Powered Embedded Analytics Platform | Toucan AI

How do you setup your workflow, environments, etc. All the right information is available online, only it is fragmented in a bajillion places like Quora, Stack Exchange, or worse: blogs. That's why we decided to write this book after spending a few weeks reading up on every resource available for each topic, trying and arbitraging between some of the solutions described. It is an opinionated guide in the sense that it is of course not the only solution. We tried to strike the perfect balance between learning curve, reusable skills, money spent, and time used.

Claude Cowork: Welcome to IntegrativeAI. The announcement of Claude Cowork from Anthropic is a great signal and validation to what we are doing with StationOne. The release of Cowork validates one of our key arguments: Knowledge Workers and Teams don’t care to work from a developer IDE to leverage AI in their work environment. They also don’t think a cli or configuring .md files is an approachable productivity hack. Finally - embedded ai in a saas tool is cute - but not the end solution. That shift from ai prompt to integrated experience with the tools you use - is the core idea behind IntegrativeAI. It’s also exactly why we built StationOne and why we are starting with the advertising ecosystem for initial distribution: - Ads represents over $1T in spend - Supporting ads workflows and connectivity is directly inline with our business as a universal measurement company that runs along side all campaigns (mobile, ctv, web, ooh, influencers, etc) - Massive disruption is expected in the workflows of buying and managing ads and we want to give our customers a competitive advantage as they manage their workflows - AI pixie dust in a dashboard across 10 saas tools is not going to cut it when you need real productivity gain Now for what makes StationOne different from Cowork: - You can run multiple models side-by-side, using the right one for the job - Work happens inside workspaces that act as solution sets; not conversations - facilitating workflows that matter - Those workspaces can be shared across a company and its partner ecosystem - Other industry leaders can leverage workspaces for their industries (as we have done with ads) I promised myself that I would post as soon as someone built something even remotely close to StationOne as a validation to the IntegrativeAI category. Giddy up - this is it. Now the question is: does the market care about a universal integrative solution - or simply an extension to 1 Foundation Model provider. History would indicate that choice matters for enterprises.

We invested in Lightberry, a fast-growing company giving humanoid robots the ability to see, hear, speak, and collaborate naturally with humans. At Blitzscaling Ventures, we invest in companies building AROW: Agentic Robotics Orchestration & Workflows (see link in comments), the emerging software layer that enables AI agents to operate in the physical world. Humanoid robotics is reaching an inflection point. Hardware partners like Unitree, working alongside Lightberry, have made major advances in mobility and physical capability. Robots can now walk, balance, and operate in human environments. The remaining challenge is intelligence and interaction. Lightberry provides this missing layer. Their software enables robots to perceive environments, communicate conversationally, and act autonomously in real-world workflows. Instead of remote-controlled machines, robots become usable teammates out of the box across workplaces, public spaces, and everyday operations. We believe robotics is entering a software-defined phase where value shifts from hardware to orchestration and autonomy. Lightberry sits at this critical intersection, aligning directly with our AROW thesis as AI agents move from digital systems into physical environments. We were impressed by CEO Ali Attar and the team’s vision that robotics adoption depends on human interaction as much as mechanical capability. We’re proud to support Lightberry as they help define the software layer powering the humanoid robotics era.

Reality Check: Most seed companies pitching “we train our own models” are doing it for fundraising optics, not because it is strategically correct. If you do not have a huge proprietary dataset, a use case that truly needs model level optimization, and a team capable of maintaining a full research stack, training your own model is a great way to burn money and fall behind. Frontier progress is accelerating. The idea that a small team will catch up to that pace is fantasy. The companies that will win are not reinventing the transformer. They are building products people love. They are using the strongest frontier models available, then creating real value through product design and user experience. If you want a real moat, it will come from your data and your product. Not from pretending to be a model lab.

A single plugin can move markets. Models / APIs → Workflows / Skills → Solutions / FDEs Foundation model companies are no longer just “plumbing.” When the model owner ships the workflow, value migrates up the stack. Anthropic’s launch of legal plugins for Claude wasn’t just a product update — it was a signal. Public legal and information-services companies sold off sharply, as investors repriced what had been viewed as “AI beneficiaries” into potential displacement targets. ▶️ So what changed? /review-contract /triage-nda /vendor-check /respond Claude introduced legal-specific plugins that automate real workflows: contract review, NDA triage, compliance checks, legal research assistance. These aren’t demos — they’re opinionated, end-to-end workflows, shipped directly into enterprises and bundled with the core model subscription: ▶️ Why the market reacted? ➖ Proprietary data alone is no longer a sufficient moat when competition shifts to the workflow layer ➖ The “ChatGPT for X” playbook just got much harder if foundation model companies ship vertical products themselves ➖ Investors may be pricing in a future where model vendors move beyond APIs into full solutions — potentially even with forward-deployed teams For founders and VCs, this forces a reset. The key question is no longer “does this use AI?”. It’s “what actually prevents the model provider from building this natively?” Overreaction — or the start of a structural shift? Do model companies stop at tools, or move decisively into solutions?

Now, I want AI to be even faster. Short read: I laid out a build plan with Claude just now. Complex full-stack work. Puppeteer pipelines, pattern detection libraries, dynamic scanning, deployment config. Claude's estimate: 2–3 weeks of solid human engineering time. Me: "OK — but what would this be in AI time?" Claude: 1 afternoon. ok, let's do it. Well, actually: YOU (Claude) do it ;) 45 minutes later. All done. That's 🦇 💩 crazy. Long Read: Production-ready code. Fallback chains. Error handling. Edge cases covered. For a full Puppeteer pipeline that would take a human engineer a day just fighting API docs and debugging deployment limits. AI wrote it in one pass. Fallback chain fully intact. Why was the AI so off in its time assessment? ...'Because it still assumed human-thinking overhead?'. Time for me to review, deliberate, second-guess. When you trust the direction and let AI execute, it doesn't deliberate. It ships. The real multiplier isn't speed. It's parallelism of thought. Plan, interface design, error handling, fallback logic — all reasoned through simultaneously. A human moves through those phases one at a time. Now the extra fun part. I'm now so used to big tasks being done quickly, that I get impatient watching the prompt return. I became a 'frontier model always on' person even for small tasks. But now I want even faster. I switched from Opus to Sonnet mid-project because I read it's faster at nearly the same code. To put things into perspective. Before AI I would wait impatiently 2-3 weeks for dev to deliver. Now I'm optimizing to get things in 45min instead of 1.5h. Or even faster. I feel so liberated to not being held back by eternal development time lines, sprints, cycles. As a business person I 'understood' - but was always a bit 'pissed' off having to wait and wondering, do things really take that long? Not any more. I'm pedal to the metal; even if that means my AI has to 'speed up a bit' ;) For everyone else out there: If you're still scoping projects in human time — budgeting sprints, still scheduling standups to check on two-week deliverables. Wake up. Get Coffee. Lots of it. Time is now. Get on board, or watch your competitors sail away. What about you, tell me your story - what was your biggest human / AI time surprise?
