Marc Simons 🥄 shared thisI’m incredibly proud to be part of the Marcus Graham Project and to support the work Lincoln and the team have built over the past two decades. In a world that’s increasingly digital, places like this matter even more. Great communities aren’t built in comment sections—they’re built when people actually contribute, share a room, challenge one another, create together, and form relationships that last a lifetime. Physical spaces like this create the environment for collisions that change careers, companies, and lives. I can’t wait to see what this next chapter makes possible for the next generation of MGP leaders. This drive is an important one for the future of MGP and for countless future careers.Marc Simons 🥄 shared thisThis is Our House. Nearly two decades ago, the Marcus Graham Project started with one bet: that young creators and entrepreneurs, given the tools and the network, could build real businesses and real careers in marketing, media, and the creator economy. Today that work has a permanent home. Gamma House is the first building we have ever owned, a creator and maker space at 2509 MLK Jr Blvd in South Dallas. The building is ours and the roof is on. Now we finish the inside and open the door of opportunity for those coming next. None of this happens without vision at the top. To our Board of Directors: thank you. You saw this before it existed and helped will it into being. We are looking for one hundred founding builders at $1,000 each. Give it once, or about $167 a month. Your name is etched on the Founders Wall before the doors open. Can't write a check? We need equipment, appliances, materials, and skilled hands too. And if you can't give at all, open a door. Everyone knows someone. Let's build. cc: Larry Yarrell, II Jason Garrett Clayton Pasley Jr. Link in the first comment.

Marc Simons 🥄 shared thisIncredibly honored to have been invited into The Learning Lounge. Karan and Shruti are fantastic hosts — curious, thoughtful, and somehow managed to make me sound more reflective than I probably am. We talked about building Giant Spoon, taking leaps, navigating uncertainty, creativity in the age of AI, and a few of the insane things we've convinced clients to let us build over the years. I even survived the book club portion. Grateful for the conversation and the chance to share a few things that I've learned — and am very much still learning. Thanks for having me! Marc Simons 🥄 shared thisOBSESSED with what this team pulled off this weekend. Nothing beats creating a pop culture moment.Marc Simons 🥄 shared thisPrime Video's first-ever Obsessed Fest is officially in the books. Safe to say: what the fandom wanted, the fandom got 🤝 Benito Skinner kicked us off. The Off Campus cast took the stage. Jennifer Lopez herself surprised us with On the Floor and the official launch of her new single, Everything's Fine (AM). Book Club was packed. Sneak peeks were dropped. Merch sold out. The casts of Elle, The Love Hypothesis, Every Year After and so many more dropped in, before a final performance by The Beaches closed us out. From campaign and creative to programming, event production, and every last detail, our Giant Spoon team and our partners at Prime Video & Amazon MGM Studios loved obsessing with fans. More soon. We’re still recovering 🥵🤩.

Marc Simons 🥄 reposted thisMarc Simons 🥄 reposted thisForbes. Today. "How The Marcus Graham Project Is Turning Two Decades Of Overlooked Talent Into An Economic Force" — by Afdhel Aziz. Two kids from Dallas. No funding. No permission. Just the shoulders of giants who built this road before us, and a belief that the talent the industry kept overlooking was the talent the industry would eventually need. 19 years in. Through recessions, consolidation, disruption, backlash. We never stopped. To every alum who picked up the phone when we called, every board member who fought for us in rooms we weren't in, every funder who wrote the check before anyone else did, every mentor who stayed on the line — thank you. You are this story. Larry Yarrell, II — we said we'd build something that outlived us. Still building, brother. Oh, we're still in the game and moving further, faster. Marc Simons 🥄 reposted thisMarc Simons 🥄 reposted thisSometimes the best marketing insights come from completely different industries. Or centuries. In our recent edition of The Stir, Charles Melcher from Future of Storytelling looks to Netflix’s immersive activation Bridgerton: The Queen's Ball, and how fans are still talking about their curtseying lessons months later. My favorite insight from Charlie: Bodies remember what eyes forget. When brands measure success by attendance numbers instead of memory formation, they miss the ripple effect that actually drives business results. Your marketing is likely missing 28 unique senses. Marc Simons 🥄 reacted on thisMarc Simons 🥄 reacted on thisI finished my last class at Pepperdine University and earned my MA in Clinical Psychology. After five decades in entertainment, most people retire. I did not. I decided to continue to build. In many ways, this degree is a culmination of everything I’ve learned over those 50 years. Any success I’ve had in my career has been possible only because of other people. And because I learned how important it is to really listen. To recognize what people are naturally great at. To help them see possibilities in themselves they may have lost sight of. To help them reconnect with that inner light that drives them. That’s what I’ve hung my hat on throughout my career. Now, it’s what I’m bringing to my clinical practice. So what’s next? Beginning in February, I’ll be seeing patients at The Center For Authenticity, working alongside exceptional practitioners as I begin the next stage of my clinical training as an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) and Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC), working toward licensure. I’ll also be spending as much time as possible with my wife Jean, who has been endlessly patient with me as I cracked open textbooks for the first time in many years. And of course, I’ve already got other projects in the works I can’t wait to share. It’s never too late to learn. And it’s never too late to begin again.

Marc Simons 🥄 reacted on thisMarc Simons 🥄 reacted on thisToday, Saylor and Mutiny join forces! Two creative agencies rooted in gaming and entertainment, together offering brands in every category a path to brand obsession. When I met Mutiny's CEO, Geordie Larratt-Smith , I knew immediately that we needed to work together. Little did I know we'd be combining agencies six months later. I've always admired Mutiny's work and felt their strategic approach and culture mirrored Saylor's. Plus, they have a nautical name, which is a BIG deal. It didn't take long to realize Geordie and I shared a vision of the future, not only for our two agencies but for advertising as a whole. Together, we're a force multiplier: doubling down on our strengths while immediately offering our clients more capabilities and expertise. There are so many people I want to thank. First and foremost, the Saylor and Mutiny leadership and staff who worked like hell these past five years to get us here. Our clients, who make all of this possible. Our incredible partners at Shamrock Capital, who brought our agencies together and believe so strongly in our future. And of course, my family and friends, who have supported me through the crazy journey of bootstrapping an agency. This is just the beginning. Chapter 2. I couldn't be more excited!

Marc Simons 🥄 liked thisMarc Simons 🥄 liked thisExcited to share that I've officially joined The Farmer's Dog 🐶 I’ve admired the brand for a long time: the product is incredible, the team is fantastic, and the mission genuinely matters. This last year, in a lot of ways, brought me here. Leaving Everlywell after six incredible years was a major transition, and I’ll always be grateful for the people and everything we built together. But making the move allowed us the chance to enroll our kids in world school with Boundless Life and spend the last year living abroad as a family. We lived in Greece, Uruguay, and Spain. We got used to living out of suitcases and saying yes before we knew how things would work out. Mostly, we got to see our kids become curious about the world in ways we never could have planned. It was an incredible year, and somewhere along the way, the unfamiliar started to feel more exciting than intimidating. So here we are: new city, new job, and a lot to look forward to!

According to the IAB this year U.S. Creator Economy is going to be driving $37B, up 26% y-o-y. Brands are turning to creators as a must-buy, varying from micro-influencers that reign in their niche communities to macro-influencers that have huge followings and are brand unto themselves. What will 2026 bring in this space?

This past week’s news of the DDB network being retired after Omnicom’s acquisition of Interpublic hits hard for many of us in the industry. In the blink of an eye, countless talented people are suddenly out of a job. Historic agency brands that defined excellence in advertising, unceremoniously erased. Steve Bernstein, our CEO has been reflecting on what those changes mean and why staying independent matters now more than ever. #AdvertisingIndustry #IndependentAgency #BernsteinRein #BR #AdvertisingAgency

Our 4th annual NFL TV Outcomes Report is live, and the headline number should get every brand's attention. The average regular-season NFL ad delivered the impact of 73 primetime spots, up 15% year over year. The average Super Bowl spot: 1,455. Pharma took the top two advertiser slots and three of the top five, running 95% more effective in NFL than in primetime broadcast and cable. AI brands showed up in force, with Microsoft's Copilot spot driving 667% more engagement than the average regular-season ad. And we measured NFL sponsorships against outcomes for the first time: 1,443 units, 139 brands, 79 games, with halftime studio segments landing 198% above the average sponsorship unit. Every one of those is a decision waiting to happen. Which is why EDO's outcomes data now sits inside the Tradedesk for seamless activation, where brands and agencies can benchmark against their category and act on it in the same workflow where they're already bidding on CTV. Critical insights and measurement against publishers and marketers often largest single investment. Full report at edo.com/nfl-ads.

For years, we've watched retail media continue to fragment often operating on the promise of "closed-loop data" rather than verifiable, standardized results. In 2025, with IAB's new Commerce Media Standards going live, we're seeing the inevitable fallout: brand satisfaction with RMN transparency has plummeted from 66% to 44%. The market is demanding accountability. Brands are done asking for proprietary dashboards; they're demanding shared, IAB-aligned proof. The old JBP (Joint Business Plan) is evolving into something more like the JVP (Joint Value Partnership), where outcomes replace obligations and standardization is the currency. 👉 Read the full perspective : https://lnkd.in/giDQc9jY #RetailMedia #JBP #JVP #CommerceMedia #Transparency #MediaAMP
