Prabha Sipi Bhandari shared thisPrabha Sipi Bhandari shared thisCongratulations to Lilia Vu, the 2023 AIG Women’s Open Champion, whose victory today marks her second Major Championship of the season. Your world-class talent was an inspiration this week as you maintained your focus, drive and outstanding play in an incredibly competitive field. Your commitment to excellence was clearly evident and we are proud to call you our Champion. Also, congratulations to all the women golfers who competed in this year’s Championship. Watching the high quality of skill on a challenging golf course exemplifies why we are so proud to be the title sponsor of the AIG Women’s Open. The elite level of play and the thrilling intensity of the competition reinforces AIG’s commitment to demonstrating leadership in serving as allies to women in golf, business and society more broadly. Thank you to The R&A for its partnership and the Walton Heath Golf Club and all its members for hosting the 2023 AIG Women’s Open—it was an exceptional week for the game of women's golf. We look forward to next year’s Championship to be held at the iconic Old Course at St Andrews in Scotland. #AIGWO #AIGAllies

Prabha Sipi Bhandari shared thisPrabha Sipi Bhandari shared thisEarlier today at a pre-Championship press conference at Walton Heath, Martin Slumbers, CEO of The R&A, and I announced that AIG is reaffirming its commitment to women’s golf by extending AIG’s partnership with The R&A as the title sponsor of the AIG Women’s Open through 2030. This long-term extension reinforces our commitment to providing leadership on a global scale on important issues including gender equity and gender pay equity. In this spirit, AIG and The R&A also announced an increase to the total prize fund for this year’s Championship to $9 million – a 23% increase from 2022. Our overall goal as title sponsor of the AIG Women’s Open is to serve as allies to women golfers, as well as to women in business and society more broadly. We look forward to a terrific 2023 AIG Women’s Open Championship this weekend at Walton Heath. http://spr.ly/6007P59u1

After retiring from Target as its CLO in 2024 for all of 8 months, I went back to work full-time at Flutter Entertainment, the owner of FanDuel. Initially sold to me as a 3-month summer gig in London as Flutter’s interim Group CLO, the opportunity to try something completely different at the world’s leading online gaming company was too irresistible. Of course, I wound up working there for almost 18 months. It was a wonderful detour from my retirement! Thanks to Flutter’s terrific executive team and board, the larger Flutter team and, most importantly, my amazing team. I thoroughly enjoyed the unexpected experience! In my second attempt at retirement, I feel more confident and clear about how to make it more enjoyable, more meaningful and more relaxing. Wish me luck!
