Shiva Rajaraman shared thisExcited to support the Xoogler community as a Key Studio mentor alongside some fantastic Google alumni in partnership with the Google AI Futures fund. Exciting time to build on Gemini with early access, credits, and funding. Applications close July 15. Deets below.Shiva Rajaraman shared thisKey Studio is the most ambitious thing Kushagra Shrivastava & Chris Fong ever built together. It's a first-of-its-kind AI incubator designed specifically for Xoogler founders — combining early access to Google's most advanced AI models, access to capital, cloud credits and the power of a network that only Xoogler can provide. Bloomberg announced this incubator today https://lnkd.in/g6m6GYiV We built it in partnership with Google's AI Futures Fund. And we couldn't be more proud of what that partnership makes possible. "Through this new partnership with Key Studio, we're thrilled to enable Xooglers as they explore next-generation AI applications. As a former Xoogler myself, I know firsthand the depth and power of their community." — Jon Silber, Co-Founder & Director, Google AI Futures Fund Why now? We've watched talented Xooglers leave Google full of ideas and momentum — and then work with the community to validate their idea, access capital and find customers. Key Studio brings it all together. Selected founders receive: 1. Up to $350,000 in Google Cloud and AI credits 2. Up to $100,000 in funding 3. Priority access to Gemini and pre-release Google AI models not yet available to the public 4. Full access to the Key AI platform for warm introductions and community 5. Mentorship from senior Google and AIFF leaders 6. The full weight of a 35,000-person Xoogler.co network that genuinely wants to see you win Marissa Mayer joins as a founding mentor and participant We're also incredibly honored to share that Marissa Mayer — Google's first female engineer, former head of Search, Maps, Gmail, and Google News, and former CEO of Yahoo — is joining Key Studio as a founding mentor and program participant. "Google's legacy of innovation is an inspiration for the whole technical industry. Key Studio provides the ideal modern extension of that legacy, giving Google alumni access to frontier AI models and an executive network with experience operating at scale." — Marissa Mayer, CEO, dazzle ai What this means for the community For us, Key Studio is the most concrete expression yet of what we started building Key AI to do. Our thesis has always been that the most powerful asset a professional has isn't their resume — it's their network. And the most powerful thing we can build is the infrastructure that turns that network into leverage. Key Studio puts that thesis to work in the most high-stakes context we can imagine: helping exceptional founders build the next generation of AI-first companies. Applications are open now. 1. Shiva Rajaraman reacted on thisThe Dynatrace acquisition of Arize closed today and we couldn’t be more excited about the combined future! Aparna and I started Arize 6+ years ago with a simple proposition that headlined our seed deck: “We Make the World’s AI Work” We made a bet years ago that the explosion of AI would require bespoke infra tools. We knew AI systems weren’t going to behave like traditional software because we believed teams were building the next generation of intelligence. The visibility into why something failed simply wasn’t going to be straightforward. That bet became the market’s first AI Observability platform, and with it, AI evaluations were born. We also bet that orders of magnitude more AI products would ship and that thousands of them would see the light of production. We believed so deeply in the importance of this problem we named the company Arize, symbolizing our mission to stand up AI and bring it to life in the real world. Fast forward to 2026. The world has changed dramatically. Every company in the world is scaling up its use of agents, AI is everywhere and agents are reshaping business after business. Where is AI going? Agents are transforming the Observability market from measurement to action. We are moving to a world where AI and software systems will continually improve. The foundation for continuous improvement is the data that describes what your system did, logs and traces, which will guide agents as they take action to fix systems. Arize was built as an agent-first Observability and Evaluation platform. Dynatrace brings depth in tracing and logging software systems that provide the data to drive these agents. These two areas just belong together if we are going to build the future systems that continuously improve. Some thank you’s To the Arize team. Startups are hard in normal markets. We built infrastructure for a market that kept changing under our feet, and this team kept listening to customers, kept shipping, and kept believing. You turned an idea into the category leader. To Aparna. For six years we have worked on this product nonstop, through every stage of company-building and life. You never slowed down and never stopped raising the bar. There is no Arize without Aparna. To our customers, who have trusted us with their most important AI systems before this category existed. You have made the product better every single day. To our investors, and early believers. Thank you – Dharmesh Thakker (Battery), Ashu Garg (Foundation Capital), Brett Wilson (Swift Ventures), Morgan Gerlak (TCV), and John Cordo (Evolution). Jason Mendel and Jaya Gupta have been instrumental in our journey in so many ways. And to the open source community around Phoenix and OpenInference. Developer trust and open standards are the foundation this category gets built on. The power of connecting Arize and Dynatrace is the potential to truly deliver on the vision we started the company with years ago. Excited for the next chapter!Shiva Rajaraman reacted on thisOur acquisition of Arize AI is complete. Arize builds for AI engineers, with tracing, evaluation, and experimentation that shows how an AI application or agent behaved, what context it retrieved, which tools it called, and whether the result held up. Dynatrace brings observability across applications, infrastructure, user experience, and business processes. Together, that's full-lifecycle AI observability. We're thrilled to welcome Jason Lopatecki, Aparna Dhinakaran, and the entire Arize team to Dynatrace!

Shiva Rajaraman reacted on thisShiva Rajaraman reacted on thisI never thought we'd raise $9.2M for Hypernatural. In fact, when Taylor and I incorporated the company in spring of 2023, we were still reeling from watching a slam-dunk term sheet evaporate before our eyes and, unbeknownst to us, were also weeks away from being rejected by Y Combinator. 😰 The funny thing is, the answer that turned those early non-investors off is exactly what continues to make Hypernatural work: No, we're not building a foundation model. We're building a video creation platform. In those early days, I can't tell you how many times I watched a potential investor lean back in their chair, or pass the question-asking off to their junior associate, or start eating their off-screen lunch once I said those simple words. One VC even DMed Taylor while I was pitching them solo to try and poach him to another startup! 😱 It was...not an ego-supportive time. 😅 But rather than turning us off of the problem of integrated video creation, it hardened our belief that what customers really needed was something the whole market was missing. Not another slick demo. Not another foundation model. Not another way to make single shots. Not another way to cut up footage you already have. An integrated video storytelling tool that lets you bring your whole vision to life. A lot has changed at Hypernatural over time, but this focus, on customer needs rather than the Current AI Thing, has never wavered. And ultimately this focus is what brought us our customers, our partners, our team, and yes, that $9.2M. So if you want to make great videos that actually work for your story, go try Hypernatural now, and don't forget to let me know what what you're making! And if you're a founder trying to raising venture funding, well, I've got some lessons on that front too. 😄

Suno • 9K followers
Suno was built to empower more people to experience the joy of making music. From the beginning we believed that lowering the barrier to creation would dramatically grow the music ecosystem. We've seen that happening in real time for years. When someone starts paying for Suno, they don't stop paying for other music services or experiences (if anything they only deepen their music interest further). Today, we're formally launching our partnership with Warner Music Group, BMG, and Believe, and with it, introducing V6 - a new generation of music models built with their partnership. It's faster, more expressive, and brings our most advanced music creation tools to everyone. Simply put, these are the best music models the world has ever seen - better than anything we've ever released in every way we can measure them. This marks the beginning of a new chapter for Suno. One where we solidify our efforts to grow the music industry pie in a way that benefits everyone. We're so excited to share in this growth with our industry partners, rights holders, and artists, musicians, and creatives at every level who help shape the future of music with us. This is the product of years spent building alongside artists, through weekly writing camps and deep collaboration across the music industry. We believe this is a blueprint for how AI and the music industry can strengthen one another and build entirely new product experiences for artists, fans, and the broader music community. Love this - AI is the Oppenheimer moment for marketing. It fundamentally collapses the time and cost of production. A $2.5 million campaign that used to take four months can now be delivered for $500,000 in four weeks. Legacy firms that charge based on hours with the 'time-driven' model are existentially threatened by this.

Greylock is leading the seed in SuperMe, the AI-native professional network. Most expertise is not yet legible to LLMs. Professionals demonstrate expertise in private contexts: product docs, meeting notes, and most often - in their own heads. SuperMe is building a way to extract and structure these insights into AI profiles, grounded in an expert's real words and personality. And it is network-first; the more conversations one's AI profile has, the more opportunities for experts to reinforce or create new insights -- expertise compounds. This is one of the strongest examples of founder-market fit we've seen at Greylock. Casey Winters is the most in-demand product & growth advisor that marketplace operators (self included) wish they could hire. And Ludo Antonov built & led engineering teams at some of the most iconic network businesses over the past decade: Whatnot, Lyft, and Pinterest (where he worked closely with Casey). The two started this company out of our offices, and have until now been quietly building a highly curated network with profiles like Elena, Lenny, Brian, etc. We see a unique opportunity to create the professional network graph in a world where likes & follower counts have lost meaning. More on our investment below:

5th Symphony | StoryXen… • 5K followers
Something shifted at Sundance. We felt it. Filmmakers felt it. Investors felt it. The conversations weren’t about if the industry is changing. They were about who is building the infrastructure for what comes next. Now StoryXen is approaching launch. And SXSW is right around the corner. This isn’t just another software demo. This is a new production ecosystem. A place where: • Development connects directly to capital • Compliance aligns from day one • Workflow syncs instead of fractures • Creators stay in control At SXSW, our ecosystem partners will be in one place. Funding. Production. Execution. Distribution conversations happening in real time. No middle layers. No smoke. Just access. But here’s the truth: We’re only scheduling a limited number of demos leading into launch. 🎬 If you're a filmmaker preparing a project this year — you need to see this. You have two options: 1️⃣ Schedule a Virtual Demo before SXSW 2️⃣ Book an In-Person Demo at our ecosystem booth in Austin This is where preparation meets opportunity. The future of filmmaking isn’t theoretical anymore. It’s being built. And we’re opening the doors. Schedule here: https://lnkd.in/gf5aZ5vU #SXSW2026 #FilmTech #IndependentFilm #FilmProduction #FutureOfFilmmaking

Deconstructor of Fun • 25K followers
Founders love to talk strategy, product, AI, markets… but in the end, your company becomes the people you choose to bet on. I sat down for a podcast with Joe (Head of Talent, Play Ventures)and Miki (Deconstructor of Fun Talent) to break down what actually separates teams that scale from teams that implode. Here are the 3 x takeaways: A: Chaos in product leads to bugs. Chaos in hiring leads to bankruptcy. The gents talked about cases where the CEO hired someone nobody else met. Of five interviewers ask the same questions round after round. Of role definitions changing mid-call and hiring calls made based on vibes. Hiring chaos is the #1 pattern linked to early-stage implosion. B: Culture debt sinks companies faster than technical debt. A-players don’t quit because of comp. They quit because you let B-players linger. Founders love talking about culture and A-players. But the real measurement is in who you tolerate. Because your culture is defined not by who you hire, but by who you fail to let go. C: Great talent follows the founder’s reality distortion field. Compensation doesn’t close A-players. Neither do perks nor for job security. The two gave examples of people leaving high paid jobs in great companies to join startups. It makes no logical sense. And yet, it makes all the sense. The best founders have this gravitational pull. A mission so clear and irrationally ambitious that it temporarily rewires your sense of what’s possible. Top talent joins because they want to be inside that orbit. If you're hiring at a startup or looking to join one, this episode is for you. Full episode and the writeup coming soon. Very happy to share that Balderton is leading Mozart AI's $6M seed round. I have long been an advocate for the role of technology in transforming the way we create, discover and share music, and have been fortunate to work with European innovators like Spotify, ROLI and Soundtrack over the years. Today, Mozart is bringing music software into the AI era - leveraging state-of-the-art models to remove friction and enable musicians and music enthusiasts to experiment and iterate on creative ideas with ease and speed. Built by musicians, for musicians, this team is building with deep integrity and respect for artists and the creative process. A few reasons we’re so excited: 🤝 A founding team that is uniquely poised to win. Sundar Arvind, Arjun S Khanna and Pascual Merita Torres bring together professional musical experience, technical expertise and entrepreneurial backgrounds. Their level of focus is unmatched. 🎙️Deep industry roots and a commitment to doing things right from the beginning. Mozart’s platform is already being used and endorsed by leading artists including producers for A$AP Rocky, Avicii, Kodak Black, and more. 📈Incredible early traction. The platform attracted over 100,000 users in just two months since Beta launch, with more than 1 million songs created so far. Looking forward to the road ahead.
