Tom House reposted thisTom House reposted thisIn 1999, long before the beloved roles millions would come to know him for in “Arrow,” “The Flash” and beyond, David Ramsey appeared in “Mutiny” — a role that would stay with him for more than two decades. Ramsey joined Emmy Award-winning journalist Dayvee Sutton on KRON4 Weekend Morning News to discuss the true story of the Port Chicago 50 and why this pivotal chapter in American history still matters today. “Mutiny” dramatized the aftermath of the 1944 Port Chicago disaster, when 320 people were killed in a catastrophic explosion at a Navy ammunition depot. When hundreds of surviving Black Sailors protested orders to return to the same hazardous and discriminatory working conditions, 50 of those men were ultimately convicted of mutiny in the largest mass mutiny trial in U.S. Navy history. “We owe these men our highest honors, our highest gratitude, our highest respect,” Ramsey said. “In my opinion, they’re not celebrated enough.” Today, as our new National Ambassador, Ramsey carries that history beyond the screen, helping ensure that the courage and legacy of the Port Chicago Sailors reach new audiences and future generations. Eighty-two years later, their courage deserves to be known and celebrated. ✦ Discover “Inside Mutiny: The Role David Ramsey Never Forgot” at the link in our bio and help save our Sailors’ stories. ✦ A new chapter is on the horizon! Tom House shared thisDreamforce 2026 has officially come to a close — and for the Salesforce Military community, it delivered a week that will be hard to top. Like the anticipation of Christmas morning, months of buildup crescendoed into just a few unforgettable days before it was all over. But in that short window, military leaders from every corner of the world showed up in full force — driving powerful conversations, leading AI panels, sparking new friendships, and reuniting with old ones. Here are my highlights from #DF26 for the Military Community! Day Zero Missionforce Day Zero Community Of Practice: Plugged Salesforce Military Introduced Dean Robison for his impactful panel Welcome Reception: Salesforce Military expanded to support Gold Star Children Honored the Plank Owners of #vetforce, now Salesforce Military Networked and mentored the heck out of the event Day 1 Keynote: Incredible keynote with some viral CEO moments from our very own with Anthropic and Nvidia - #iykyk Front row VIP seats for our Military Community! Ran into one of my personal inspirations, Ebony Beckwith! Military Meet Up: 100+ attendees were introduced to Rye Barcott, who shared his wisdom on transition, networking, and the call to service — while also highlighting With Honor and his book Courage Can Save Us. Missionforce Community of Practice at the MOMA: A fantastic fireside chat with Dean Robison and Rye Barcott! Day 2 Non-Profit Keynote: Our partner Blue Star Families was highlighted for the success of STAR, their agent that helps scale their fundraising! And Blue Star Families' very own Jeanine Cavicchia was awarded the Golden Hoodie! Service to Salesforce Summit at the St. Regis: Thank you to Colin Chinery and his team for this uniquely curated event, which featured an eye-watering panel with Rye Barcott, Suzana DelliSanti, Dean Robison, and Abe Sachs! Day 3 Yerba Buena Theater: Dan Driscoll and Kendall Collins on stage at the Yerba Buena Theater was fire! Trailblazer Community Theater: A Where Are They Now panel that focused on AI and the Military Community, led by Skye Tyler, and included Sheldon Simmons, Jesse Grothaus , and Annamaria Hickman! Equality Fest: Rounded out the week with our Employee Resource Groups at a fan favorite — Equality Fest with Alexandra (Ally) Legend Siegel and Dean Robison kicking it off! The bigger theme of Dreamforce this year was Salesforce becoming an intelligence + action layer that works wherever work happens — and I couldn't be prouder of how our military community showed up to be part of that story, not just as attendees, but as speakers, leaders, and mentors. Grateful for every veteran, military spouse, fellow, and ally who made this week special. On to World Tour DC — we're already thinking about how to show up even bigger. #winning #Dreamforce2026 #SalesforceMilitary #Veterans #Agentforce #TrailblazerCommunity Gloria Ramchandani Meredith Brown Joshua Mendez

Tom House shared thisToday, the Salesforce Military Community and Vetforce had the privilege of partnering with Amazon, Ray Watts , Perseverance Productions and the Gary Sinise Foundation for a powerful screening of Brothers After War, followed by an inspiring discussion. What impacted me most wasn’t just the film—it was the incredible veterans in the room who shared their stories with honesty, vulnerability, and wisdom. Their experiences served as a powerful reminder of the strength of our military community and the importance of creating spaces where those stories can be heard. A heartfelt thank you to Jake Rademacher and his entire team for creating such a meaningful experience that brought people together through connection, reflection, and service. A special thank you as well to Alexandra (Ally) Legend Siegel for kicking off the event , and to Meredith Brown and Alex Murray, who continue to show up, lead, and champion the military community in meaningful ways. Tom House reacted on thisTom House reacted on thisTwenty-five years ago today, our country changed forever. I was a high school student in Connecticut, sitting in music class when an announcement over the loudspeaker interrupted our day. Living so close to New York, the events felt painfully close to home. I remember the fear, the uncertainty, and the devastation as we began to understand the magnitude of what had happened. But I also remember what came next. In the days and weeks that followed, Americans came together with an extraordinary sense of strength, resolve, and service. For an entire generation, September 11 became a rally cry to serve. My brother was attending college on a Navy ROTC scholarship when 9/11 happened. Meanwhile, my future husband had just turned 18 and was taking his oath to enlist in the Air Force. Neither chose military service because of September 11; they had already made that commitment. But like so many others in their generation, the events of that day made the meaning of that commitment unmistakably clear. They would serve a nation at war. Twenty-five years later, I think about the remarkable legacy of the Post-9/11 generation. Millions of Americans have answered the call. They have served honorably, led under extraordinary circumstances, and developed skills and resilience that continue to shape our workplaces and communities today. For many, service did not end when they took off the uniform. My brother has gone on to build a successful career in business. My husband continues to serve as a career firefighter and paramedic, showing up for people on some of the worst days of their lives. He would never call it extraordinary. To him, it is simply what you do when someone needs help. That is the part of the 9/11 legacy I want to carry forward. Service changes people. It builds leaders who know how to remain calm under pressure, adapt when circumstances change, take care of others, and contribute to something larger than themselves. But that service also comes with sacrifice, and its impact can last a lifetime. So today, we remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and the families who continue to carry that loss. And we honor those who ran toward danger, those who served in uniform, those who continue to serve as first responders, and the generation that answered tragedy with a commitment to something greater than themselves. We should never forget what was at stake then, and we should never stop investing in the people who continue to serve now. Twenty-five years later, the call to serve still matters. The question is how each of us chooses to answer it. I choose to give back by serving military veterans and their spouses at Hire Heroes USA. How will you carry the legacy forward? #PatriotDay #NeverForget #September11

Tom House reacted on thisTom House reacted on thisLast week I was asked to speak for 10 minutes on "The moment I stepped into my power." I opened by admitting that I had a problem with the prompt. I've been thinking about it for months as I prepared for this session and the deeper I got, the more I realized I don't believe you step into power once. I think you step into it, step out of it, lose it, give it away, and find it again. I talked about how my relationship with power has evolved across three parts of my life: as a leader, as a mother, and as a woman still trying to figure out who I want to be (check out my past BJJ post for my mid-life crisis moment 😆 ). The more I thought about power, the less interested I've become in how much of it I have. I care much more about what I do with it. Do I use it to create space for someone else? Do I know when to step forward and when to step back? Can I give some of it away without feeling like I have less? Can I stay calm when everything around me isn't? I ended the talk by asking every woman in the room to stand, close her eyes, and repeat a series of "My power..." affirmations with me. A nod to a morning tradition with my kids and a moment to recognize all the power in the room. This photo captured that moment. Seeing a full room of women standing together, eyes closed, saying those words out loud was amazing and something I won't forget anytime soon. Beyond the moment off stage was by far the most meaningful. This was my second year with this group, and there was something special showing up this time realizing I wasn't walking into a room of strangers. I was greeted with hugs instead of handshakes, some convos picking up right where they left off last year, and new friends met with instant connection. There is something pretty unique about being surrounded by female leaders who understand the weight, privilege, loneliness, absurdity, joy, and complexity that comes with being a C suite leader. I also loved that we weren't just executives comparing notes. We are women rooting for each other, challenging each other, laughing together, sharing what's working and being honest about what isn't. It's a new form of power I discovered and appreciate now with a different lens: the power of being in a room where you don't have to prove you belong there AND the power of making sure the woman standing next to you feels exactly the same way. Tom House reacted on thisTom House reacted on thisAs the daughter of a Korean mom, The Korea Society Gala was especially meaningful to me. The evening honored NVIDIA founder and CEO Jensen Huang with the 2026 Van Fleet Award. It wasn't lost on me that an award named for a general went to a tech CEO. That says a lot about where this alliance is headed. SK hynix and Samsung help build the memory that powers NVIDIA's AI, and with Hyundai and LG in the room too, this partnership reaches well beyond chips. One of my biggest lessons from three decades of leadership: you can buy hardware…you can't buy 70+ years of trust. Nights like this, and the everyday work across every industry, are about building that trust. It's the foundation for deterrence, economic security, and everything we can do together. (And yes, while I was thinking about deterrence most of the evening, I missed out on dessert.) 😂 Great catching up with the Council of Korean Americans and meeting new friends. Abraham Kim, thank you for the invitation and for all you and the KS team do to strengthen the U.S.–Korea relationship. 🇺🇸🇰🇷 NOTE: The award is named for Gen. James A. Van Fleet, who commanded Eighth Army during the Korean War and helped found The Korea Society. His background spans high-growth technology companies, entrepreneurship, angel investing, and years of mentoring founders. Today, through Thrive Innovation at Georgetown University’s Thrive Center, Jason helps catalyze and scale new solutions addressing unmet needs in child and family mental and developmental health. At EmpathyTech, Jason will moderate a conversation with Rebecca Ralston and Cassandra Ryan of Special Olympics International about what it really takes to build solutions with families and communities, rather than simply for them. The discussion will draw on the development of the Young Athletes app, exploring how families move across pediatricians, early intervention, schools, and community programs, and why successful solutions often depend on strong partnerships across that entire ecosystem. Jason will also bring lessons from the many teams working through Thrive Innovation, helping connect the conversation to broader patterns in how organizations can scale impact for children and families. Tom House reacted on thisTom House reacted on thisAfter a week or so of much-needed rest, I’m so excited to be back in my normal rhythm bolstered by the excitement and momentum from Dreamforce announcements, insights, and conversations with those I don’t see often enough. (Here’s looking at you, Rob OBrien, Shelley Bolt and Joey Chan!) And Dreamforce did not disappoint. And as tends to happen when you step out of your normal rhythms, I came home with a few takeaways I wasn't expecting. One of them happened during the keynote with Marc Benioff. In short, I was struck by how unapologetically proud he is of Salesforce: Proud of the work they've done. Proud of the partnerships they've built. Proud of the community they've created. He also doesn't seem particularly concerned about being too enthusiastic about the things he's proud of. And honestly? I found his enthusiasm inspiring. Because I have a lot to be proud of, too. So, before I lose the momentum of #DF26 week, I'm going to take a page from Marc's book and say it loudly: ✈️ Client Cloudcare is growing, and my team is amazing. I have a team of smart, adaptable women, the majority of whom are navigating military life and ALL of them bring an incredible breadth of experience and expertise to the work we do. They are subject matter experts. They are problem solvers. They are constantly learning. And they care deeply about getting the details right to build solutions that actually work. I don't believe you start with a tool like Salesforce: I believe you start with the problem, and you start with the right people. And then you find the right technology to help with a solution. I know I have the right people. I was reminded of that at Dreamforce, not because of a particular product announcement or AI innovation, but because of the conversations I had, the work I watched my team engage with, and how the crew who couldn’t make it kept the plane flying flawlessly while we were away. Predictably, I did not get nearly enough time with the Client Cloudcare crew who joined me in San Francisco. Which is, perhaps, inevitable when you have a team you genuinely enjoy spending time with, and one you usually get to know through a screen #remotework But I’m so grateful Dreamforce gave me any time at all— as well as time to learn about what’s new, meet partners and clients, and have conversations with others centered around bringing positive change through technology. Till next year, Dreamforce! To all my new Dreamforce connections, please reach out and say Hi! Let's not let the distance keep us from connecting virtually. We don't have to wait until next year to support each other.

It was so valuable to have intimate conversations with leaders who are wrestling with the same questions on AI growth, efficiency, and governance. With the CFO role evolving faster than ever, we have to embrace our roles as the architects of value creation in the Agentic Enterprise. Gatherings like these remind me that none of us are figuring it out alone and the job is truly better shared. I’m grateful to Mark Hawkins for co-hosting the event, and to every CFO and board member who joined us to share their insights and lessons learned: Seun Sodipo, Kelly Steckelberg, Elena Gomez, Jessica Ross, Gina Mastantuono, R. Tom House reacted on thisTom House reacted on thisI was so excited to get started that I forgot to share this news! Last month, I was selected for a Salesforce Military Fellowship through the @HiringOurHeroes Fellows Program - and the experience so far has been fantastic. Early this month, my co-fellow Jun Shin and I were welcomed with open arms at Salesforce NYC Tower by our mentors (thanks Giovanni Gilles!) and #Vetforce sales champions, including Joey Turmel, Maxwell Acker DeOliveira, Jackie Callahan, Marshall Dockery, Jack Bosken, Ari Diaz and Mike Morrison. Coming from the Navy, I am excited to learn from the Salesforce team about building trust with customers, understanding their challenges, and creating solutions that deliver real value. To that end, I'm lucky to be working with a fantastic GRB FINS Sales team, led by Ryan Murdoch and supporting Thomas Pojero, alongside an incredible group of professionals - Bailey Osborn, Jereme Johnson, Amanda Trojniak, Teddy Murphy, Sofia Conlan, Shannon Cohen, Daniel Wajda, James Sottilo, Manon Lisa Ferer, Samantha Keenan - all of whom have been tremendously generous with their time and sales expertise. And a huge thank you to my good friend Tom House, who first sold me on Salesforce, and Gino Osorio who has mentored me throughout the Fellowship process. I'm also grateful to Daniel Haney and the many veteran supporters and program leaders who make this community possible - Colin Chinery, Brandon Nivens, Telisse Tess Rodriguez, Joshua Mendez and Suzana DelliSanti. Finally, Karen Hrach at HoH deserves special recognition for wrangling numerous Fellows across programs and states while orchestrating a steady stream of highly relevant learning opportunities. Needless to say, I’m thoroughly enjoying the opportunity to learn, grow, and put new skills to work. If conflict breaks out in the Eastern Pacific or the North Atlantic, unmanned systems won’t win by being numerous. They’ll win by being connected. Air, surface, and undersea platforms only deliver real advantage when they can team, share data, and act in concert—despite distance, disruption, and degraded comms. That’s a C2 problem, not a platform problem. Companies that invest in Open, resilient C2 architectures turn autonomous systems from isolated assets into a coordinated force at scale! The next fight won’t favor the biggest fleet. It will favor the force that made interoperability a priority before it mattered. #Autonomy #C2 #Unmanned #PacificSecurity #DefenseInnovation Barbara Supplee Maysam Tawasha Josh Sorkin Joe Delaney Peter Drewes Paul McInnis Sean O'Lone VinDo Technology HavocAI Michelle Burnett
