Tyler Martin shared thisMy start to 2026 at Fooda went off with a loud bang and hasn’t slowed since. Today, I’m excited to announce my new role at Fooda as Account Director on the Premier Accounts team. After transitioning out of market oversight roles at the tail end of 2025 and spending the first half of this year developing a vertical management process tailored to large-scale construction clients, I’m proud to say my incredible (and rapidly growing) team has launched 17 net-new programs across 13 states with some of our company’s largest client logos — with a mile-high stack in the pipeline for Q4 and beyond. So many people to thank: mentors and teammates across departments, amazing clients, and a truly massive network of endlessly flexible vendors (and, frankly, the folks at Delta, where I’ve spent many hours jetting state to state). You all helped get my team and me to this astounding place of growth — which even earned me a Fooda Leaders Award over the summer. I was too busy to mention it at the time, but better late than never! Looking forward to continuing to lead this department’s continued growth to round out a banner year as we sharpen our processes and build out our team even further into 2027!

The beverage industry is witnessing a notable shift with the rising popularity of non-alcoholic (NA) beer. Recent statistics from the Beer Institute highlight the significant impact of this trend, showing a remarkable 22.2% increase year-to-date and a notable 16.4% rise over the past twelve months. July 2024 stood out with a striking 30.8% spike year-over-year, emphasizing the growing consumer acceptance of NA beer. Beyond being a health-conscious choice, the younger demographic, including Gen Z and millennials, is leading the charge towards non-alcoholic alternatives. A substantial 61% of these consumers expressed a preference for non-alcoholic versions of their favorite beers, signaling a clear shift in drinking habits. This shift is reshaping social settings, where non-alcoholic options are gaining ground over traditional alcoholic beverages. Additionally, 57% of younger drinkers stated they would prolong their stay at venues offering diverse non-alcoholic selections, benefiting both consumers and establishments alike. Whether reducing alcohol intake or simply seeking a refreshing option to pair with a favorite meal like pizza, the enduring appeal of non-alcoholic beers is evident, dispelling any notions of a passing trend. Catering to a more health-conscious audience seeking the craft beer experience without the alcohol content is just good business. NA beers also offer a practical solution for individuals balancing work commitments while still enjoying a beer without the effects of alcohol consumption. Looking ahead, the future seems promising for non-alcoholic beers, having established a prominent presence in the beverage landscape. With increasing availability and a rising preference among younger consumers, the widespread inclusion of NA beers on beer menus nationwide has become a common sight. If you're in the bar and restaurant industry and you're not offering NA beers, you are missing out. Remember all of the profit and none of the liability.
