Will Bunker liked thisWhen I was 13, I built my first software product—a simple program that asked questions to guide you toward your goals. (It wasn't my absolute first creation; a few years earlier, I'd meticulously designed a custom the LEGO Group Voltron (decades before Lego caught on!)... complete with handwritten docs. When George, Misha and I met last year, we instantly saw how bringing both teams and products together under one company would deliver for our customers. We dove right in and six months later we are one company! Myagi 3x’d revenue, 2x’d the team since the depths of Covid and consistently delivered ROI for our customers. All of that is down to the amazing team that I have been lucky enough to learn from and work by side with over the years. Myagians have shown world beating resilience in the face of ridiculous challenges, ingenuity with limited resources, and camaraderie beyond what was possible with such a diverse, globally remote team. A special shout out goes to the leadership team at Myagi who over the past three years (and longer for some of them!) have lead with empathy, humility and integrity every step of the way, no matter how hard it got. It involves a little-known American billionaire who's giving away her fortune faster than any other tycoon in the United States. In less than two years, MacKenzie Scott, the former wife of Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, has disbursed more than $12 billion. She's publicly vowed to keep going until "the safe is empty." It's easy to imagine what can go wrong. Giving money this fast -- to recipients who didn't even ask for the money -- is nail-biting stuff. Swarms of journalists have been jockeying to get an interview with Scott, and so far, she's turned them all down. Instead, Scott issued a challenge to all of us in the media.
